Abstract

Abstract: This study describes the factors of readiness of students to follow online learning during the covid-19 pandemic; and discover the factors that formed about the readiness of students to follow online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is quantitative-explorative approach with EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis) model and factor analysis assumption test. The respondents to the study were students of the Faculty of Education, State University of Surabaya as of the 2019/2020 school year a total of 4,244 respondents. Sampling using sampling techniques is simple random sampling, quota sampling and a total of 221 respondents. This study concluded that there are 20 (twenty) indicator items identified based on the results of previous research and found 6 (six) factors of student readiness to follow online learning during the covid-19 pandemic formed from indicators. Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan faktor kesiapan mahasiswa mengikuti pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi covid-19; dan menemukan faktor yang terbentuk tentang kesiapan mahasiswa mengikuti pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif-eksploratif dengan model EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis) dan uji asumsi analisis faktor. Responden penelitian adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Surabaya per tahun ajaran 2019/2020 sejumlah 4.244 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling yaitu simple random sampling, quota sampling dan sejumlah 221 responden. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat 20 (dua puluh) butir indikator yang diidentifikasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdahulu dan menemukan 6 (enam) faktor kesiapan mahasiswa mengikuti pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi covid-19 yang terbentuk dari indikator-indikator.

Abstract

Abstract: Managerial supervision is an important aspect of educational supervision. Supervision is all professional assistance from the principal to the teacher in the hope that the teacher can develop motivation and good performance. Therefore, managerial supervision has an important role in developing teacher professionalism in schools. This study aims to increase teacher performance motivation through coaching madrasah principals in the implementation of managerial supervision. This research was conducted with the School Action Research approach. The subjects of this study were teachers of MAN 1 Tulungagung. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The research was conducted at MAN 1 Tulungagung. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the supervision of the Head of Madrasah was able to increase the work motivation of MAN 1 Tulungagung teachers from 59.38 percent in the Pre-cycle stage; 71.88 percent in Cycle I; and 90.58 percent in Cycle II. Abstrak: Supervisi manajerial merupakan aspek yang penting dalam supervisi pendidikan. Supervisi adalah segenap bantuan profesional dari kepala sekolah kepada guru dengan harapan agar guru dapat mengembangkan motivasi dan kinerjanya dengan baik. Oleh sebab itu, supervisi manajerial memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan profesionalisme guru di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru melalui pembinaan kepala madrasah dalam pelaksanaan supervisi manajerial. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS). Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru MAN 1 Tulungagung. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Tulungagung. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa supervisi Kepala Madrasah mampu meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru MAN 1 Tulungagung dari 59,38 percent pada tahap Pra Siklus; 71,88 percent pada Siklus I; dan 90,58 percent pada Siklus II.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how the implementation of the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) curriculum in Batam Tourism Polytechnic (BTP) students in the Chamber Division (RDM) Management Study Program and the Tourism Management Study Program (F&B). This study used a descriptive method with a sample of all populations. The data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires (questionnaire), documentation study, and observation. The results of data processing show that the implementation carried out in the Room Division (RDM) Management Study Program and Food Management (F&B) Tourism Study Program always carry out activities that have been made in the RPS and implemented in learning. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi kurikulum berbasis English for Specific Purposes (ESP) pada mahasiswa Batam Tourism Polytecnic (BTP) di Prodi Manajemen Divisi Kamar (RDM) dan Prodi Pariwisata Manajemen Tata Hidang (F&B). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desktiptif dengan sampel semua populasi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner (angket), studi dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil dari pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa implementasi yang dilakukan di Prodi Pariwisata Manajemen Divisi Kamar (RDM), dan Prodi Pariwisata Manajemen Tata Hidangan (F&B) selalu melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan yang telah dibuat dalam RPS dan diimplemtasikan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims: (1) to describe the level of service quality, the level of student satisfaction, learning motivation, and the level of academic and non-academic achievement of students, and (2) to determine the model of the structural relationship between variables. This research design uses quantitative research. The research population consisted of all students, which was 3,702. Sampling using a simple proportional random technique, through this technique obtained a research sample of 361. Meanwhile, for data collection using a questionnaire technique. As for data analysis using descriptive and correlational analysis techniques with Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of the analysis show that: 1) the level of service quality is in the sufficient category; 2) student satisfaction with services in the sufficient category; 3) students’ learning motivation is in the low category; 4) the level of student achievement in the low category; 5) there is an effect of service quality on student satisfaction; 6) there is an effect of service quality on student learning motivation; 7) there is an effect of the level of satisfaction on student learning motivation; 8) learning motivation has no effect on student achievement; 9) there is a direct or indirect influence between the level of service quality on achievement through student learning motivation; and 9) there is a direct or indirect influence between satisfaction and achievement through student learning motivation. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mendeskripsikan tentang tingkat kualitas layanan, tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa, motivasi belajar, dan tingkat prestasi akademik dan non-akademik mahasiswa, dan (2) mengetahui model hubungan struktural antar variabel. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas seluruh mahasiswa yaitu sebesar 3.702. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik proposional acak sederhana, melalui teknik tersebut diperoleh sampel penelitian sebesar 361. Sementara itu, untuk pengambilan data dengan menggunakan teknik angket. Adapun untuk analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan korelasional dengan Structural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil analisis menunjukan, bahwa: 1) tingkat kualitas layanan dalam kategori cukup; 2) kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap layanan dalam kategori cukup; 3) motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam kategori rendah; 4) tingkat prestasi mahasiswa dalam kategori rendah; 5) ada pengaruh kualitas layanan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa; 6) ada pengaruh kualitas layanan terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa; 7) ada pengaruh tingkat kepuasan terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa; 8) motivasi belajar tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi mahasiswa; 9) terdapat pengaruh baik langsung maupun tidak langsung antara tingkat kualitas layanan terhadap prestasi melalui motivasi belajar mahasiswa; dan 9) terdapat pengaruh baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung antara kepuasan terhadap prestasi melalui motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Abstract: Cognitive skill, the important aspect in early childhood development, consists of three skills such as learning and problem solving, symbolic thinking and logical thinking. The activities in recognizing geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years are by mentioning geometric shapes, showing geometric shapes, and geometric grouping shapes. The result of observation shows children are difficult to distinguish between square and rectangular shapes when asked. Thus, educational media to overcome these problems as well as to meet the industrial revolution 4.0 challenge is so needed. This study aims to determine the effect of CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) on children aged 4-5 years in recognizing geometric shapes. This is quantitative descriptive research using a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population used were 75 children aged 4-5 years. Data were collected using observation and documentation. The assessment indicators used are to mention geometric shapes, show geometric shapes, connect 2- and 3-dimensional geometry shapes (surrounding objects), and group surrounding objects. Computer-Assisted Instruction (CAI) in recognizing geometric shapes was used 3 times. The average score before treatment was 10.77, while after treatment was12.66. Through the Mann-U Whitney test, the hypothesis was sig equals 0,000 is less than alpha (0.05) meaning that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) is an effective media to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to determine the digital intelligence-based teacher competence in carrying out the role as an instructional leadership. Digital intelligence-based teacher competence is related to the teacher’s ability to prepare the learning process, especially learning with virtual models during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. This research case relates to the digital intelligence-based teacher competence at SD Al-Azhar 35 Surabaya. The research was carried out in 2021, the object of research was carrying out virtual learning. Data were taken by interview, observation, and documentation study. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data condensation, displaying, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study showed that the digital intelligence-based teacher competence at SD Al-Azhar 35 Surabaya was initially motivated by the formulation of a vision that became an institution of direction and work instructions for all civitas, namely “developing the Qur’an generation through digital literacy”. The digital intelligence-based teacher competence is illustrated by three learning activities, namely the teaching and learning process, digital learning media management, and continuous self-development through a digital management system. The three activities describe teacher learning leadership in managing classrooms in maximizing teacher competence for optimal student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The low reading interest of elementary school students in Indonesia needs serious attention. The various obstacles behind it must be immediately found a solution. Starting from the problem of availability of reading sources and uneven distribution, the role of family and community support, to the effectiveness of children’s literary literacy development programs in elementary schools. This study aims to identify, describe and interpret in depth all activities of the Children’s Literacy Movement (CLM) at the development stage in order to foster reading interest in elementary school students. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Instruments of data collection were conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that CLM activities at the development stage were carried out through activities (1) children’s literary literacy bags, (2) mandatory library visits, (3) independent reading of literature child. Various activities for developing children’s literary literacy in schools will develop if there is support for similar activities carried out by families and the community. Reading pleasure through children’s literature can foster students’ interest in reading. Abstrak: Rendahnya minat baca siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia perlu mendapatkan perhatian yang serius. Berbagai hambatan yang melatarbelakanginya harus segera dicarikan solusinya. Mulai dari permasalahan ketersediaan sumber bacaan dan persebaran yang belum merata, peran keluarga dan dukungan masyarakat, sampai dengan efektifitas program pengembangan literasi sastra anak di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mendeskripsikaan dan memaknai secara mendalam semua aktivitas Gerakan Literasi Sastra Anak (GLSA) pada tahap pengembangan guna menumbuhkan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Instrumen pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas GLSA pada tahapan pengembangan dilakukan melalui kegiatan (1) gebyar literasi sastra anak, (2) kantong literasi sastra anak, (3) wajib kunjung perpustakaan, (4) membaca mandiri sastra anak. Beragam aktivitas pengembangan literasi sastra anak disekolah akan berkembang jika ada dukungan kegiatan serupa yang dilakukan keluaraga dan masyarakat. Membaca kesenangan melalui buku-buku sastra anak mampu menumbuhkan minat baca siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The realization of an inclusive learning environment at the tertiary level is carried out by providing a comfortable learning environment and acceptance from all parties for the presence of students in the campus environment. This study aims to examine the implementation of an inclusive learning environment as a manifestation of inclusive education in one of the universities in Malang City. The research method is qualitative, using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by semi-structured individual interviews and observation activities at the research location. Based on the research, the results show that: (1) the implementation of an inclusive and comfortable learning environment for persons with disabilities has put forward the concept of universal design although it is not perfect; (2) there are opportunities for persons with disabilities to get access to higher education properly; (3) the spirit of building collaboration from both students with disabilities and non-disabled students in creating an inclusive learning environment. Abstrak: Perwujudan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif pada jenjang perguruan tinggi dilakukan dengan memberi layanan lingkungan belajar yang nyaman dan penerimaan dari semua pihak atas kehadiran mahasiswa di lingkungan kampus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji implementasi lingkungan belajar inklusif sebagai perwujudan pendidikan inklusif di salah satu perguruan tinggi di Kota Malang. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara individu semi terstruktur dan kegiatan observasi pada lokasi riset. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa: (1) implementasi lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan nyaman bagi penyandang disabilitas telah mengedepankan konsep universal design meskipun belum sempurna; (2) adanya peluang bagi para penyandang disabilitas untuk mendapatkan akses pendidikan tinggi secara layak; (3) semangat untuk membangun kolaborasi baik dari mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas maupun mahasiswa yang bukan disabilitas dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to know the relationship of self-efficacy and family environment with student entrepreneurship readiness. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research design. This research was conducted on students of the of the Department of Education Administration, Faculty of Education, State University of Malang Class of 2017. This study uses the entire study population due students of the Department of Education Administration, Faculty of Education, State University of Malang Class of 2017 are 97 students, so the number of samples used in this study are all. This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. To uncover the relationship between variables using Pearson Product Moment analysis and multiple correlation analysis. The results of research and analysis of the data obtained it can be concluded that: (1) entrepreneurial readiness of students in the high category; (2) The self efficacy of students in the very high category; (3) The condition of the students’ family environment in the high or good category; (4) There is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of self efficacy and entrepreneurial readiness in the field of student education; (5) There is a positive and significant relationship between the family environment with entrepreneurship readiness in the field of student education; (6) There is a positive and significant relationship between self efficacy and family environment with entrepreneurship readiness in the field of education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dan lingkungan keluarga dengan kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa Jurusan Administrasi Pendidikan Angkatan 2017 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh populasi penelitian dikarenakan mahasiswa Jurusan Administrasi Pendidikan Angkatan 2017 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Malang adalah sebanyak 97 mahasiswa, maka jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah semuanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan angket sebagai instrumen pengumpul data. Untuk mengungkap hubungan antar variabel menggunakan analisis Product Moment Pearson dan analisis korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa dalam kategori tinggi; (2) efikasi diri mahasiswa dalam kategori sangat tinggi; (3) kondisi lingkungan keluarga mahasiswa dalam di kategori tinggi atau baik; (4) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel efikasi diri dengan kesiapan berwirausaha di bidang pendidikan mahasiswa; (5) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan dengan kesiapan berwirausaha di bidang pendidikan mahasiswa; (6) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dan lingkungan keluarga dengan kesiapan berwirausaha di bidang pendidikan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to learn about community participation in the proses of education in Lamongan Regency. The data was collected through a descriptive qualitative approach and using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) as technique. Discussions conducted together with the literacy, education and social communities resulted in the findings that: (1) several activities carried out in the delivery of education during the pandemic were in the form of persuasion as well as activities based on the results of an analysis of the environmental conditions (grass roots problem), and (2) synergy between communities is able to contribute in the form of thoughts and actions as a learning solution carried out in the family and community environment. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari tentang peran serta komunitas dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Kabupaten Lamongan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik wawancara dalam Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Diskusi yang dilakukan bersama dengan komunitas literasi, pendidikan dan sosial menghasilkan temuan bahwa: (1) beberapa kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan selama pandemi berupa ajakan (persuasive) maupun kegiatan yang didasarkan pada hasil analisis kondisi lingkungan sekitar (grass roots problem), dan (2) sinergitas antar komunitas mampu memberikan sumbangsih berupa pemikiran dan tindakan sebagai solusi pembelajaran yang dilakukan dalam lingkungan keluarga dan masyarakat.
