Technology has already had a significant impact on many aspects of life, including education. As a learning tool, the Smartphone has become indispensable for system implementation. The study's goal is to investigate how smartphones can assist students in improving their public speaking skills. The study employed classroom action research in three cycles. This study included 39 second-grade students from a junior high school in West Java. Interviews, observations, and questionnaires were used to collect qualitative data. Furthermore, quantitative data from speaking tests were obtained. According to the findings of this study, using a smartphone during a course activity can keep students' attention and interest. They also gained the confidence to speak up and actively participate in class. Furthermore, smartphones help students stay engaged while learning. The speaking test results revealed that the students' speaking abilities had improved. The mean score for students in cycle one was 70.4, 77.6 in cycle two, and 82.2 in cycle three. As a result, because smartphones are compatible with student characteristics, they can be used as a learning media to assist students in improving their speaking skills, broadening their knowledge, and developing their other English practice.

This article aims to capture the concept and practice of religious moderation in higher education institutions considered modern laboratories of religion because they accommodate students across the nation with various ethnicities and religions and diverse, unique characteristics. By providing such a learning environment, higher education institutions can disseminate the meaning of the difference to students. This study employed a literature review as the research design. Six articles published in national journals were selected as the data. Those articles were analyzed thematically. The results of this study are divided into two major themes, namely, the concept of religious moderation in higher education institutions and the practice of religious moderation in higher education institutions. This indicates that the indicators initiated by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia as a feature of solid religious moderation in an educational institution have been practised or carried out daily. Higher education institutions, namely universities, are the leading laboratories in developing and implementing religious moderation. The results of this development are then given to other lower educational institutions and the general public.

This study aims to produce KKNI-oriented learning tools assisted by the Synectic Model in the Indonesian society studies course, a university in Indonesia's history education program. This research was carried out in the sixth semester using Educational Research which was adapted from the development model according to Borg Gall, which consisted of six stages: a preliminary study, planning stage, and drafting stage for learning device products KKNI-oriented, assisted by a synectic model, the product validation stage, the revision stage, and product testing, as well as the dissemination stage. The trial subjects of the KKNI-oriented learning device assisted by the Synectic model in the Indonesian society study course were 43 students in that study program. The results of the research are: (1) KKNI-oriented learning tools assisted by a synectic model of Indonesian society studies courses have been produced in a very good category based on the results of product validation by four expert lecturers and the results of student response questionnaires, and (2) KKNI-oriented learning devices assisted by Synectic models in Indonesian society studies courses are effectively used in learning, especially to train students’ creative thinking skills.

The ability of students to ask or answer questions from the teacher is generally not based on reasoning. Therefore, we need a way to help the development of student reasoning by using empowering thinking through questions (PBMP). Therefore, students gain knowledge from the teacher and are actively involved in the science learning process. This study aimed to determine students' science learning outcomes using the PBMP model with the assistance of the Inshot video. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The participants in this study were 70 students, with 35 for the experimental group and 35 students for the control group. The results showed that learning outcomes with the PBMP strategy were higher with an average score of 81.00 compared to conventional ones with 57.05. Meanwhile, the ANCOVA test results showed a significant difference between student learning outcomes using the PBMP and conventional models. Thus, the PBMP model combined with the Inshot video can be recommended for improving student learning outcomes.

Observations and documentation studies were carried out in Basirih and Mantuil sub-districts. Miles and Huberman's analytical technique model reduces research data from interviews. The study results describe that in the Banjar community, a religious activity that has been carried out from generation to generation until now is known as Bahandil Yasinan (reading of Yasin among residents). Bahandil Yasinan is carried out by both men and women. Bahandil Yasinan in building linking capital network relationships is represented through administrators, members, and participants who discuss social issues at each meeting. This problem is not only limited to material activities but also outside the context of these recitation activities. Linking capital serves as a system of communication channels to protect and promote interpersonal relationships. Thus, the established linking capital is able to increase emotional closeness between the Banjar community.

This study aims to analyze the need for developing digital learning models using MOOCs in practical courses at universities using the Rasch Model. This research is part of Research and Development (R D) research but is only limited to the needs analysis stage. The population taken in this study were all undergraduate students at IAIN Curup. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with a total sample of 69 students from 17 study programs. The method used for data collection is a questionnaire. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire on the need for developing a digital learning model using MOOCs in practical courses at IAIN Curup. The results showed that the quality of the student response questionnaires to the digital learning model using MOOCs in this practical course was very good. The results of the analysis of the respondents and the questionnaire items showed that the majority of respondents agreed with all the questionnaire items given, which means they agreed to do the model development digital learning using MOOCs in practical courses. These results can be used to support the implication of learning MOOCs in practical courses.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between facilities and instructors' perceptions of their ability to develop instructional media during a pandemic. This study employed a quantitative approach through the use of a survey. The sample size for this study was 154 elementary school teachers drawn through a purposive sampling technique from Pelalawan and Rengat districts. The data were gathered via a survey administered over WhatsApp and analyzed descriptively and inferentially using SPSS version 26. The findings indicated that all fundamental support facilities for online learning were met 100 % of the time, interactive learning media facilities were met 48.7 % of the time, and assistive devices for students were met 58.4 % of the time. Additionally, 60.4 % of teachers frequently create learning media on their own, 45.5 % frequently generate media independently, and 42.9 % frequently use online learning media. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient calculated between facilities and teachers' abilities indicated a significant value of 0.0000.05. As a result, it is possible to conclude that there is a positive and significant association between facilities and the teacher's opinion of their ability to produce instructional media.
