Abstract

This research aims to develop a sexual harassment prevention information service guide (using a Contextual Teaching and Learnong approach). Using the AADIE model development research method (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation), with small group research subjects consisting of 3 experts and 3 guidance and counseling teachers. The research results show that the sexual harassment prevention information service guide is valid and can be used by guidance and counseling teachers to improve the prevention of sexual harassment.

Abstract

Sexual harassment is increasingly rampant in people's lives, this can become a big problem both personally and socially for students, if there is a lack of understanding and knowledge about positive attitudes towards sexuality. One of the efforts to provide understanding, knowledge and prevention that can be carried out by BK Teachers is through providing information services. In order to be more focused on the sources of information obtained, a learning media product was created in the form of a guide to providing information services as a form of preventing sexual harassment. This research was conducted with the aim of developing a sexual harassment prevention information service guide (using a Contextual Teaching and Learning approach). Using the ADDIE model development research method (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation), with small group research subjects consisting of 3 experts and 3 guidance and counseling teachers. The results of the research show that the sexual harassment prevention information service guide (using the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach) is valid and can be used by guidance and counseling teachers to improve the prevention of sexual harassment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve career planning through group guidance using the mind mapping technique. The research employs a quantitative method with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at Panti Daarul Hasanah Karawang with a sample size of 10 people. The research instrument was a career planning questionnaire using a Likert scale. The intervention was given in 4 sessions. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and n-gain test to assess effectiveness. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test and n-gain through SPSS version 25. The results showed that the career planning of the foster children before the intervention was in the very low and low categories. After the intervention, their career planning increased to the medium, high, and very high categories. The Wilcoxon test analysis showed a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05, indicating that the group guidance intervention using mind mapping was effective in improving the career planning of foster children. Furthermore, the n-gain test used to measure the effectiveness of the treatment showed an n-gain value of 98.5%, meaning that this group guidance was highly effective in enhancing the foster children's career planning

Abstract

Children today spend more time playing with their gadgets than with other people in their immediate environment. This phenomenon can lead to problematic interpersonal and communicative skills that cause children to distance themselves from social life, which can lead to antisocial behavior. The problems caused are contrary to the dimensions of psychological well-being, that positive relationships with others and control over the environment. Guidance and counseling services can act as a solution to optimize social skills in children. The research conducted examines the ability of social interaction of children who use gadget, and the efforts of classroom teachers to provide guidance and counseling services to develop positive social skills in students at school. The research approach used is qualitative with the research design used is a case study at SDN 1 Sukagalih and SDN 1 Cikedokan. The research instruments were interview guide, observation guide, questionnaire and records of activities at school. The results showed that the ability of social interaction was in the enough category and the class teacher has an important role in guidance because the class teacher has more time than other teachers and has the obligation to shape the personality of students in accordance with values and morals to improve the students' character. Based on research findings and literature studies on the role of guidance and counseling services in optimizing social skills can be arranged by considering the principles of intervention, classroom conditioning, emotional relationships between teachers and children, and teacher characteristics. The service is implemented by the classroom teacher and integrated into the school program.

Abstract

Personality can help a person understand their strengths and weaknesses, this will allow them to decide how they interact with others. Meanwhile, interests can be an internal factor that can influence a person in taking steps in determining a career. The fact is, there are still many students who do not understand their personality characteristics and interests, making it difficult to determine career choices appropriately. This study aims to examine the influence of students' personality and interests in the career decision-making process. This study is quantitative. A total of 165 active students of class X SMA Dr. Soetomo Surabaya were the samples in this study. This study uses a Likert Scale and questionnaires distributed via the Google Form link. For the data analysis, we employed descriptive analysis alongside multiple regression, equipped to conduct prerequisite tests including normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity assesments. The results of this study indicate that the most data was obtained on the personality aspect with a percentage of 73.9%, followed by career interests at 75.7%, and career decision making reached 77.5%. These three aspects are categorized as “moderate” and produce a correlation value between big-five personality and career interest that is positive and significant contributing 51.4% to the career decision-making of grade X students of SMA Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. This means that the higher the level of students’ understanding of their personality and interests, the better their understanding in making career decisions.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the essence of the marriage guidance program carried out by the KUA Sumbersari Jember District in order to reduce the divorce rate that occurs in Jember. Looking at the national divorce rate, Jember Regency, especially Sumbersari District, has the highest divorce rate in East Java. As shown in 2022 data which reached 516,334 cases. In order to reduce divorce in Indonesia, the Ministry of Religion launched a marriage guidance program. As a prelude to marriage, prospective brides and grooms receive advice from a marriage guidance program. The aim of the marriage guidance program is to provide understanding to couples who are getting married regarding knowledge related to the household. The approach in this research uses a case study method and a qualitative approach with extension workers from the KUA Sumbersari District as informants in this research. The research findings show that: (1) The Sumbersari District KUA marriage guidance program provides materials to couples who want to get married. (2) There are several factors behind divorce and the impact left behind by a divorce. (3) Efforts to prevent divorce that can be carried out by the KUA are by providing marriage guidance and giving advice to prospective brides and grooms. Meanwhile, efforts that couples can make are to understand and understand each other and carry out their respective rights and responsibilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between negative self-concept and negative social interaction among students at SMA Darul Hikam through the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y). This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlation method. The data were obtained from students at SMA Darul Hikam, with data collection conducted through observations and questionnaires distributed to the research sample. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between negative self-concept and negative social interaction, with a correlation coefficient of 0.529 and a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that the higher a student's negative self-concept, the greater their tendency to engage in negative social interactions. Conversely, students with lower levels of negative self-concept tend to exhibit more positive social interactions. This study supports the hypothesis that self-concept plays a crucial role in shaping the quality of students' social interactions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi bimbingan karier Islami melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok sebagai upaya pengembangan soft skills pada generasi Z. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kebutuhan akan pendekatan bimbingan yang tidak hanya memperhatikan aspek kognitif dan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga nilai-nilai spiritual dan etika Islami yang relevan dengan karakteristik Gen Z. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok di lingkungan pendidikan menengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai Islami dalam bimbingan karier dapat membentuk pola pikir yang lebih holistik, memperkuat karakter, dan meningkatkan keterampilan interpersonal serta komunikasi Gen Z. Bimbingan kelompok menjadi sarana efektif untuk membangun empati, kerja sama, serta kesadaran diri dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja modern. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pengembangan model bimbingan karier Islami yang sistematis untuk memperkuat kesiapan karier generasi muda secara spiritual dan profesional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Role of Guidance and Counseling Services in Transformative Education, which includes challenges for guidance and counseling in the world of education. This research was conducted as a series of collection, processing and analysis of written literature to investigate the role of guidance and counseling services in transformative education. therefore this research is called library research research results, counselors face the challenges of digital change and cyberspace. The situation of the 21st century challenges educators to be ready to work with diverse circumstances and diverse parties in the preparation of students who have different characters. The role of career guidance is to guide students to have good character and be independent, and to instill responsibility in the soul. learners. The use of technology is one of the innovations of counseling guidance where online counseling has been applied since the benefits of the internet have been felt, then counseling can be done through cyber counseling, that there are limitations in the implementation of guidance and counseling services that hinder the implementation of guidance and counseling. These obstacles can come from within (internal) or from outside (external) counselor. Regarding the constraints in the implementation of group guidance services, the internal and external constraints of the counselor are explained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam memberikan layanan kepada siswa yang berasal dari keluarga broken home melalui pendekatan Rational Emotive Therapy (RET) yang dipadukan dengan teknik dzikir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi di MTs Al-Luthfah Cililin. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru bimbingan dan konseling memiliki peran strategis dalam membantu siswa broken home melalui layanan konseling individual. Pelaksanaan konseling dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu penggalian informasi, identifikasi dan penyanggahan pikiran-pikiran irasional, pertemuan rutin sesuai jadwal, serta pembiasaan dzikir harian yang terstruktur dengan target tertentu. Pendekatan RET yang dipadukan dengan teknik dzikir terbukti mampu memberikan dampak positif dalam mengurangi perilaku negatif siswa, seperti bolos sekolah, berbohong, dan kurangnya motivasi belajar. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam penanganan masalah emosional dan perilaku siswa broken home di lingkungan sekolah.
