Abstract

The success of an education is largely determined by many factors, some of the factors in supportingthese successes are the quality of human resources (HR), facilities, infrastructure, and the curriculum used. The change in curriculum requires teachers to understand and be able to implement all these changes in the learning process in the classroom, but not many teachers understand and are able to implement these changes in learning activities, especially in the use of learning methods. Therefore, this paper will attempt to examine the Sad Dharma method of learning of Hindu religious education and character entitled "Sad Dharma as a Learning Method of Hindu Religious Education and Character of 2013 Curriculum in SMPGurukula Bangli". Abstract

Tapini has a strategic position in the yajña ceremony This feminist figure in the perspective of Hindu theology has been able to become a ceremonial leader even though it is customary to wait until the Pedanda dies. However, sometimes also in a Pakraman Village such as Sanur, the Pedanda of the one who has not died gives Pedanda his wife the opportunity to become the leader of the ceremony when she is overwhelmed to accept the wishes of Hindus so that she becomes the leader of the yajña ceremony . This shows that the current relationship in the position of leader of the ceremony is a serious challenge because a Tapini must also be an expert in the position of Goddess, as a teacher, and as an tukang banten.

Abstract

The myth of Ida Ratu Gede Mas Macaling Dalem Nusa still exists until now. The myth is so alive in the Balinese social environment that it is made to be identical with everything which is mysterious. Its existence is always connected with the practice of native healing and other growing and developing traditional spiritual practices. There are several palm-leaf manuscripts narrating the existence of Ida Ratu Gede Mas Macaling Dalem Nusa. The version narrated in one palm-leaf manuscript is different from that narrated in another. However, his existence is always connected with the existence of one small island named Nusa Penida, an island which is under his control. He is pictured as a “frightening” spirit and the myth and his existence have hypnotized the Balinese people; therefore, it is interesting to investigate the myth. The existence of the myth is described from the perspective of the mysticism of Bhairawa Tantra, which developed rapidly during its era in Bali.

Abstract

Light can be understood only if we know the darkness. Similarly, the truths can be fully comprehended only if you know the falsehoods also. Many western philosophers, like Mark Twain, said “Majority is always in the wrong.” To understand Vedic science one must therefore know: (a) The role played by the money power. The destiny of the entire earth is controlled by the money power. Without money none of us can survive. So, everything we do, do not do, and cannot do is motivated by our desire and security of money. (b) Yogic power, which is the highest level power, even above the money power, if you can acquire it. It controls the global destiny of the entire universe. (c) Modern science, which is the product of the global destiny, as well as the money power or the destiny of the earth.Once you understand destiny, you will of course not blame anybody, including global, earth, or individual destiny. We will show with examples that all results of modern science are based on  or derived from assumptions. Since assumptions cannot be valid for nature and engineering,  modern  science therefore cannot represent the nature, and be applicable to nature and engineering. For the same reason results of modern science can never be demonstrated. It must be realized that there is a heaven   and hell difference between modern science and modern engineering. Since engineering uses science, all of engineering is full of patches and kludges, and therefore engineering is very unreliable, and pollutes environment. On the other hand the Vedic science is entirely based on observations, just like what Galileo observed. Vedic science does not therefore has any assumptions, and it is a record of what you see as happening in nature. The Vedic science also has another very crucial difference – it observed two types of causes: (a) efficient cause and (b) material cause, behind every phenomenon. As a result Vedic science is valid for the entire universe and for all time, past, present, and future. We will illustrate all results of Vedic science with observations in nature. Such examples will be beyond comprehension of modern science.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important things when plunging into the society, no exception when it comes to religion. Definition of how important education and religion are inseparable. They who embraced the Hindu taught about their beliefs through formal education in schools, but there are always shortages that make the educational levels of our religion becomes very low. And one of the problem is the process of learning theory and practice in Hindu religious are rated more boring because it contains lectures and stories. Besides, the education system in our country has too many anomalies since the beginning. One example is the system want to spawn a quality product, but they did not consider the best time per subject for students studying in the school. And also, as an educator, there are many things that can happen that make their time to teaching students with face-to-face is lost. Have workshops, go to meetings and fulfill their administrative duties as educators who make their exclusion of students. This is a system that shows the lack of quality of learning but educators would like to encourage the students involved in the process of learning to make it work. Here, the author would like to give a simple solution of saving time educators without lowering the quality time to teach and skipped a meeting at school. This application named Screencast O Matic.

Abstract

Barong and Rangda have become part of culture and religion in the tradition of Hindu religion. The Barong and Rangda tradition is a ritual process or pratima that is very sacred. The scary forms of both often scare children, but is greatly admired and adored since it is considered a protector from danger and disaster. If Barong and Rangda are worshiped in horrifying figures, it is then not uncommon for non-Hindus to assume that Hindus worship Satan because their description of Satan relates to scary things. Based on the above, there are three essential points to focus in this article. First, how the concepts of Barong and Rangda are in Hindu Literature; second, how Barong and Rangda are in Balinese Culture; and third, how the religious system of Barong and Rangda is in Hindu rituals. In analyzing these three topics, the researcher applied qualitative method to explain Hindu literary sources based on religious theory. The Barong and Rangda conception is in the Hindu literature, namely the Purana books and the books that have been adapted in Old Javanese literature. In the Purana books, Barong and Rangda can be associated with the manifestation of Shiva and Durga in the aspect of Krodha. Second, Balinese culture sets Barong and Rangda in the Sacred and Profane realms. Barong and Rangda become Wali Dance during religious rituals. Third,  the Hindu Religious System explains that Barong and Rangda is the concept of Shivaistic divine teachings which explains the dualistic aspects of God as Purusa and Prakerti as a whole unit.

Abstract

The role of education today is highly essential in the process of social transformation, particularly in relation to respect for pluralistic religious entities. Education as an effort to humanize humans as the aim of religious education which has been specified in Article 2 of Government Regulation No. 55/2007. It is a representative effort in forming better human qualities. Religious education is a pattern of learning dimensions that represent not only education in the formal, informal, or non-formal sense. The religious dimension that guides the community into multicultural life is built on equal right and life. The identical treatment of various differences, both religion and social status of a person is an absolute service that must be provided to everyone, so there is no one-sided discrimination against likes or dislikes, or majority or minority. Disclosure of the dominance of the majority and minority systems in Menjing has become a phenomenon examined in this study which is a struggle for the ideological dimension of the religious system between Hinduism and Islam in Menjing Village.
