Abstract

Students' creative value is still relatively low because teaching and learning activities in schools are still conventional, monotonous or teacher-centered so that students' creative value is not optimal. One of the right ways to optimize students' creative values ​​is to choose the right learning model to integrate creative values, such as the PBL model. This research aims to describe the creative value of junior high school students in the PBL learning model on relationship and function material. Researchers used qualitative descriptive methods. The main focus of creative values ​​in this research is the creative values ​​of originality and creative flexibility. The subjects of this research were class VIII students at SMP Negeri 45 Palembang using written test instruments. Data was collected through tests which were then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Researchers obtained research results that the creative value that most often appears in the learning of relationship and function material is creative originality, while the creative value that rarely appears is the creative value of flexibility.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' difficulties in solving short story questions in Indonesian language subjects in class III UPT SPF SDN Inpres Tidung II. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were 15 students consisting of five students with high, medium and five low abilities. Data collection was carried out by written tests and continued with interviews. The results of the analysis of students' learning difficulties in solving short story questions showed an average score of 56.47. From these data it is known that the level of ability of class III students is still low. Of the 5 questions given to students, there were still many who had difficulty answering questions related to moral messages and character traits. Based on the results of interviews with 15 students, it was discovered that there were no difficulties in the high subject category. The difficulty in the medium subject category is that it is difficult to determine the moral message and character traits. Meanwhile, the difficulty in the low subject category is that it is difficult to understand the questions given. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there are still many students who experience difficulties in solving short story questions in Indonesian subjects.

Abstract

Students feel very enthusiastic about technology because of the presence of signals in the midst of residential areas, school environments and communities in Pengabuan. This can be seen from the involvement of the internet in craft learning which should be utilized well by teachers. This research aims to develop learning media, assess the feasibility of interactive craft e-book learning media and increase student learning motivation and creativity. The research method used is Research and Development. This development procedure refers to the Lee and Owens (2004) development model with the stages of Analysis, Needs Analysis, Front-End Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The result of this research and development is the development of interactive e-book learning media which is expressed procedurally and theoretically. Then this media was also declared feasible in practice. It can be concluded that interactive e-book media can increase student learning motivation and creativity.

Abstract

This research discusses the use of YouTube media to improve students' speaking skills in class III UPTD SDN 24 Batangase, Mandai District, Maros Regency. This research aims to determine the use of YouTube media in improving students' speaking skills in class III UPTD SDN 24 Batangase, Mandai District, Maros Regency and to make it easier for students to learn through teaching videos on YouTube because they can be accessed anytime and anywhere. This type of research is qualitative research in which the researcher attempts to describe and explore data naturally, in addition to providing an in-depth explanation or evaluation of the research and following research developments based on the problems posed. The data analysis technique used in this research involves collecting three types of data: qualitative data in the form of observation data, interviews and documentation. The data will be analyzed qualitatively. This means that all data will be explained in depth based on the research problem. The results of this research state that the YouTube method can improve the speaking skills of class III students at UPTD SDN 24 Batangase, Mandai District, Maros Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the mathematical representation ability of students studied from scientific attitudes in students in class VII SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak, analysed based on the mathematical representation ability of symbols, algebraic material. The research method used was descriptive qualitative method. The subjects in this study were 30 students, namely class VII SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. The results of the research on the attitude of curiosity of students 88% and the attitude of open-mindedness/cooperation 82% to 85%. The lack of scientific attitudes of students results in the ability to represent mathematical symbols, algebraic material is fairly weak. Individually there are 25 people categorised as weak, 2 people categorised as sufficient, and 3 people categorised as strong. While in groups there are 7 groups categorised as weak, and 5 groups categorised as sufficient. Students' mistakes in solving problems, namely those with algebraic nuances, also occur errors in writing the symbol of the operation, determining the positive or negative sign of an operation result, there is a lack of thoroughness, easily forgetting the material that has been delivered

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of different delivery strategies on students' learning outcomes, particularly in procedural knowledge in the subject of Bahasa Indonesia for the 11th grade DKV students at SMK Negeri 7 Jember. The research design utilized was a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The population comprised all 11th-grade DKV classes at SMK Negeri 7 Jember, totaling four classes. Purposive sampling was employed to select XI DKV 1 as the experimental group and XI DKV 2 as the control group. Data were collected through pretests and posttests administered to both groups at the end of the study to obtain students' learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted using Independent Sample T-Test, revealing a significant influence of different delivery strategies on procedural knowledge learning outcomes in Bahasa Indonesia between the control and experimental groups, as indicated by Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The rapid development of the times requires many changes in all sectors, especially in education. Industry 6.0 is a process that occurs after discussions about the previous industrial revolution, so it is necessary to prepare education in such a way. In order to cope with this, educational technology is an important scientific basis for the facilitation of learning and the improvement of performance that is always adaptable and flexible to existing advances. The construction of educational technology, described in a narrative review, in the face of Industry 6.0 is examined in this article. Implementing educational technology as a whole needs to be built into delivering learning. This aims to optimally promote the quality of education and facilitate the ease of learning felt by all groups. In this way, this review can be an alternative point of reference to see the potential of educational technology in the face of Industry 6.0 later on.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop digital learning media in the form of E-Books as a tool for teachers in providing PAI learning materials to third grade elementary school students. The development of the KATABAH E-Book was carried out through the D&D model consisting of the stages of problem identification, describing objectives, product design and development, product trials, trial evaluation, and communication of test results. These stages involve observation, interviews, student and material analysis, and product testing. The results showed that the KATABAH E-Book received a positive response from third grade students. Aspects such as conciseness of material, clarity of sentences, attractive design, ease of understanding the material, and accessibility of media were rated well by students. This shows that the KATABAH E-Book based on Heyzine Flipbook is feasible to use as an effective learning media in understanding thayyibah sentences in grade III SD.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the improvement of students' understanding of mathematical concepts in class VII C of SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Yogyakarta by implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model with the assistance of mind mapping media. The method applied is Classroom Action Research consisting of two cycles, each cycle involving four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects are 28 students from class VII C of SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Yogyakarta. The results of the study indicate that the application of CTL with mind mapping is effective in enhancing students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This is evidenced by the average scores increasing from 51.80 in the pre-cycle, to 59.50 in Cycle I, and reaching 85.80 in Cycle II. Improvement is also observed in the percentage of understanding mathematical concepts in each indicator, rising from 50.19% in the pre-cycle to 82.88% at the end of Cycle II. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the CTL model with mind mapping in enhancing students' mathematical comprehension.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the optimization of students' learning interest by using TaRL (Teaching At The Right Level) learning which is viewed from the learning interest of students in class X. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Data on students' learning interest was measured using a questionnaire and data on the results of mathematical communication skills through written tests, both of which were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that the average percentage of interest in learning increased by 23% from 49% (less) in cycle I to 72% (sufficient) in cycle II. In the aspect of students' mathematical communication skills, it is demonstrated by an increase in the percentage of completeness by 33% in cycle I to 82% in cycle II. The average student score increased by 48% from Cycle I to Cycle II.
