Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced educational practices, including Qur’anic learning for Generation Z. This literature review examines the characteristics and learning preferences of Generation Z, the forms and effectiveness of multimedia used in Qur’anic education, as well as the pedagogical impacts and challenges associated with multimedia-based learning. The reviewed studies indicate that Generation Z learners demonstrate a strong preference for visual, interactive, and technology-supported learning environments that promote engagement, autonomy, and immediate feedback. Various multimedia forms, such as instructional videos, mobile applications, digital Qur’an platforms, and interactive learning media, have been shown to enhance motivation, comprehension, and memorization of Qur’anic content when appropriately designed. Pedagogically, multimedia integration supports active learning, learner-centered instruction, and differentiated teaching approaches in Qur’anic education. However, challenges remain, including unequal access to technology, limited digital competence among educators, and the risk of reduced spiritual depth if pedagogical guidance is insufficient. The review concludes that multimedia-based Qur’anic learning holds considerable potential for Generation Z, provided that technological integration is aligned with sound pedagogical principles and the spiritual objectives of Qur’anic education.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in developing students’ religious character at SD Negeri 35 Kota Bengkulu. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach to explore classroom practices, teacher roles, and supporting conditions influencing character development. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation analysis involving teachers, students, and the school principal. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education learning is implemented through structured instructional processes, varied teaching methods, contextual learning materials, and consistent classroom management. Teachers’ exemplary behavior and interactive learning strategies play a significant role in reinforcing religious values. Supportive school culture and parental collaboration strengthen students’ religious character, while challenges such as limited instructional time, student diversity, and external influences require adaptive strategies. The study underscores the importance of coherent implementation and professional commitment in optimizing Islamic Religious Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Formal Diniyah Education (PDF) represents a systematic effort by the Indonesian government to recognize and integrate traditional pesantren religious education into the national education system. This study aims to synthesize and critically analyze various academic literatures regarding the philosophical foundations, regulatory frameworks, and curriculum implementation models of PDF since the enactment of related formal regulations. The method employed is library research with a qualitative content analysis approach toward policy documents, empirical research findings, and relevant scientific journal publications. Primary and secondary data sources were collected through online database searches and university repositories. The analysis results indicate a significant discourse regarding the challenges of synchronization between the universal goals of national education and the specific objectives of pesantren to produce Islamic scholars (tafaqquh fiddin). The study identifies that although the legal basis for PDF is robust, field implementation remains heterogeneous and depends on the local interpretation of the core curriculum by each pesantren. It is concluded that PDF has great potential as an integrated Islamic education model, but clearer standardization is needed concerning quality evaluation and graduate qualifications without eroding the autonomy and distinctiveness of the pesantren tradition.

Abstract

Studi ini memakai metode kualitatif deskriptif guna menjabarkan penerapan media Baamboozle dalam proses belajar mengajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas V MIN 2 Ngawi. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, pengamatan langsung, dan dokumentasi. Temuan riset memperlihatkan bahwa Baamboozle, sebagai sebuah platform kuis interaktif berbasis web, sukses mewujudkan kondisi belajar yang lebih hidup, mendongkrak semangat belajar, menaikkan keikutsertaan siswa, serta secara signifikan memperkaya pendalaman konsep IPAS semacam ekosistem. Perangkat ini pun membantu guru dalam melaksanakan evaluasi formatif secara lebih kilat, akurat, dan menarik, terbukti dari nilai rata-rata tugas siswa yang menyentuh angka 80. Secara garis besar, Baamboozle dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif, inovatif, dan sangat sesuai dengan keperluan belajar di era abad ke-21 untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di jenjang sekolah dasar

Abstract

Kreatifitas merupakan kompetensi yang mutlak dibutuhkan di abad 21. Disisi lain, pesantren merupakan budaya yang mendominasi pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Oleh karenanya, penting dilakukan kajian tentang kreatifitas anak di pesantren sebagai salah satu upaya pengembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kreativitas siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah di pesantren dan non pesantren. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparasi. Sampel terdiri dari 35 siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah di pesantren dan 31 siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Non Pesantren. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan Wallach-Kogan Creativity Test. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif statistik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kreatifitas siswa pesantren dalam aspek fluency dan flexibility lebih baik dari pada kreatifitas siswa non pesantren. Sedangkan dalam aspek uniques, kreatifitas siswa non pesantren lebih baik dari pada kreatifitas siswa pesantren. Dalam aspek unsusallness tingkat kreatifitas siswa pesantren dan non pesantren berada dalam kategori sama. Keterampilan siswa dalam aspek fluency dan flexibility jauh lebih baik dari pada aspek uniques dan unusualness. Perlu dicarikan variasi solusi untuk meningkatkan aspek uniques dan unusualness siswa mengingat hakikat dari kreatifitas adalah novel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi berbasis kearifan lokal di Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah melalui metode studi literatur. Kajian dilakukan dengan menganalisis berbagai hasil penelitian terdahulu yang membahas implementasi literasi dan numerasi kontekstual pada lingkungan sekolah dasar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca, menulis, serta memahami konsep bilangan melalui konteks budaya dan aktivitas sehari-hari siswa. Pendekatan ini menjadikan pembelajaran lebih bermakna karena menghubungkan pengetahuan akademik dengan pengalaman nyata di lingkungan sosial-budaya mereka. Selain itu, strategi ini sejalan dengan pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, dan communication (4C), yang penting bagi pembentukan karakter dan daya saing peserta didik. Pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal juga menumbuhkan nilai identitas, kebersamaan, serta semangat belajar berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, penerapan strategi ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi di SD/MI.

Abstract

Manajemen pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan konseptual di tengah dinamika modernisasi, globalisasi, dan perkembangan ilmu manajemen yang cenderung berorientasi pragmatis. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya penguatan landasan nilai yang mampu menjaga identitas dan tujuan pendidikan Islam secara holistik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi konsep manajemen pendidikan Islam berbasis nilai tauhid melalui kajian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan menelaah sumber-sumber primer berupa Al-Qur’an, Hadis, serta karya-karya klasik dan kontemporer tentang pendidikan Islam, serta sumber sekunder berupa buku dan artikel jurnal ilmiah lima hingga sepuluh tahun terakhir. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui proses reduksi, klasifikasi, dan interpretasi data secara tematik-konseptual. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendidikan Islam tidak dapat dipahami semata sebagai proses teknis-administratif, melainkan sebagai sistem nilai yang berlandaskan tauhid, mencakup prinsip amanah, keadilan, musyawarah, dan tanggung jawab transendental. Rekonstruksi konseptual ini menempatkan tauhid sebagai paradigma dasar yang mengintegrasikan dimensi spiritual, etis, dan rasional dalam manajemen pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya khazanah teoretis manajemen pendidikan Islam serta menawarkan kerangka konseptual yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan Islam kontemporer.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of congregational prayer activities as a means of character education for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 61 Bengkulu City. The research aims to describe the implementation process, analyze the role of congregational prayer in shaping students’ religious and disciplinary character, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed to obtain in-depth and contextual data related to religious activities in the school environment. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students. The findings indicate that congregational prayer activities are implemented in a structured and consistent manner as part of the school’s daily routine. These activities contribute significantly to the development of students’ religious awareness, discipline, responsibility, and moral behavior. Supporting factors include strong institutional commitment, active teacher involvement, adequate facilities, and structured scheduling, while inhibiting factors involve differences in students’ backgrounds, time management constraints, and limited facilities. Overall, congregational prayer activities function as an effective medium for character education in elementary school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Dhuha prayer habituation in shaping students’ religious character at SMP Islam Al Azhar 52 Bengkulu City. The research focuses on the implementation process, the role of habituation in developing religious character, and the supporting and inhibiting factors encountered during the program. A qualitative research approach with a descriptive design was employed to obtain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students. The findings indicate that Dhuha prayer habituation is implemented in a structured and consistent manner as part of the school’s daily religious activities. The program contributes positively to the development of students’ religious awareness, discipline, responsibility, and sincerity in worship. Supporting factors include strong institutional commitment, active teacher involvement, and adequate facilities, while inhibiting factors involve differences in students’ motivation, time constraints, and environmental conditions. Overall, Dhuha prayer habituation functions as an effective strategy for religious character education at the secondary school level.

Abstract

The An-Najah Islamic boarding school is a religious education institution located in Tanjungrejo Village, Jekulo District, Kudus Regency. Tanjungrejo Village is a village inhabited by a very diverse community, especially its religion. All religions are embraced by the population. The harmony of community life in the midst of religious diversity will be realized if all citizens have an attitude of tolerance among each other. So this research aims to explore the role of asatidz assistance in shaping the attitude of tolerance of Ponpes An-Najah students in the Assisted Village of the Religious Harmony Forum Tanjungrejo Jekulo Kudus. This type of research is a field research with a qualitative approach which is a research with natural situations using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, documentation, and FGDs. The data obtained were analyzed using data presentation, reduction, and conclusion. As the data obtained by the researchers that the fostering of tolerance attitude carried out by asatidz at An-Najah Islamic Boarding School, Tanjungrejo Village, Jekulo District, Kudus Regency is as follows: 1) Integrated in every book study which is routinely carried out every time after the maktubah prayer, especially when bandongan is active, namely bakda subuh, bakda magrib and bakda 'isyak; 2) Integrated in extra activities. namely: a) study of the book Riyadh ash-Shalihin which involves community members every Tuesday night; b) khithobah activities; c) deliberation activities; d) Qur'an tadarus activities; and e) incidental activities organized by local community members; 3) Incidental coaching activities. In addition, that the form of tolerance attitude assistance organized by asatidz towards students at An-Najah Islamic Boarding School, Tanjungrejo Village, Jekulo District, Kudus Regency is of two kinds, namely: 1) Individually through sorogan system learning activities or through special coaching for students who violate boarding school rules with moral and ethical material; and 2) In groups through bandongan learning activities, deliberations and so on. Based on these data, it can be analyzed that the role of asatidz assistance in fostering santri tolerance attitudes is sufficient. The mentoring pattern is structured and integrated in every activity in the pesantren.
