Abstract

The rise of digital marketing has transformed consumer consumption patterns, where purchasing decisions are no longer solely based on price and product quality, but are also influenced by review content and the growing presence of paid buzzers that can shape consumer perceptions and purchase intentions. This study aims to examine the influence of influencer reviews and the bandwagon effect on the purchase intention of pashmina tencel products on TikTok. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through online questionnaires distributed to 110 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that influencer reviews have a positive and significant contribution to consumer purchase intention. Similarly, the bandwagon effect also demonstrates a positive and significant influence on purchase intention. The credibility of influencers plays a crucial role in building trust and shaping positive consumer attitudes, while the bandwagon effect reflects social influence that encourages consumers to follow popular trends, which in turn enhances their intention to purchase.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of organizational culture and work discipline on deviant behavior in the workplace at a flexible packaging materials manufacturing company located in Sidoarjo Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 86 respondents, selected through purposive sampling based on the criterion of permanent employees who had been working for at least one year. Data were collected via a questionnaire using a Likert scale and document analysis, then analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that organizational culture plays a significant role in reducing the occurrence of deviant behavior in the workplace, as well-internalized values and norms can shape employee behavior in a more positive manner. On the other hand, work discipline is also involved in creating order, although its impact has not yet shown a significant influence. A strong organizational culture and consistent enforcement of work discipline can reduce the potential for deviant behavior, thereby enabling companies to maintain operational stability and enhance long-term effectiveness. This study also fills a gap in the literature, as most previous research has focused more on the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on performance rather than on deviant behavior in the workplace. These findings contribute theoretically by expanding our understanding of the factors influencing deviant behavior in the workplace, particularly within the manufacturing sector in Indonesia. Practically, the results of this study can serve as a guide for company management in developing more effective strategies to strengthen cultural values and work discipline systems, thereby reducing the risk of deviant behavior and improving work productivity.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media has changed the way people obtain information about culinary experiences. Reviews delivered by food vloggers often become a reference; however, issues related to consumer trust arise because the content is often in the form of paid promotions, making it perceived as less objective. On the other hand, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), which is based on users direct experiences, is considered more neutral and trustworthy. This study aims to analyze the influence of consumer trust in food vlogger reviews and e-wom on culinary purchase decisions in Surabaya. This research employs a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed online. The sample consists of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that consumer trust in food vlogger reviews has a positive but not significant effect on purchase decisions, while electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of human, economic and technological, cultural and social factors on the development of cloud-based accounting education. The sample in this study consists of 119 accounting students at higher education institutions in Surabaya. The data in this study uses primary data obtained directly through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data was analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results of the study indicate that human factors and economic and technological factors have a significant positive influence on the development of cloud-based accounting education. On the other hand, cultural and social factors do not have a significant influence on the development of cloud-based accounting education. This study can contribute by showing that human factors, economic and technological factors can influence the development of cloud-based accounting education. Conversely, cultural and social factors need to be considered by educators regarding attitudes, traditions, dand cultural trends that are temporary and easily changeable, which unrealistically encourage the acceptance of new technology, thus potentially hindering trust in cloud-based accounting users.
