Abstract

This study was conducted in response to issues faced by students regarding the gap in reading proficiency between those who read fluently and those who still struggle, the limited use of interactive learning media and cooperative learning approaches, and the predominant reliance on conventional methods in face-to-face instruction. This study aims to determine the effect of the CIRC learning model assisted by flipbook media on the reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at MIMA 7 Labuan Ratu. This is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental design. The study population consists of all 47 fourth-grade students. Class IVA, with 23 students, served as the experimental class implementing the learning model supported by flipbook media, while Class IVB, with 24 students, served as the control class implementing the SQ3R model. The sampling technique used was census sampling, employing multiple-choice questions to measure reading comprehension skills. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of the CIRC learning model assisted by flipbook media on the reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at MIMA 7 Labuan Ratu. The results of the hypothesis test, normality test, and paired-sample t-test showed a significance value (two-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05; therefore, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, indicating that the implementation of the CIRC learning model aided by flipbook media has an effect on the reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at MIMA 7 Labuan Ratu

Abstract

This research aims to determine how students' interest in learning mathematics changes before and after using interactive learning media based on Genially. Additionally, it also examines how the use of this media impacts fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Gumawang. The research method used is experimental quantitative and employs a one-group Pretest-Posttest design. Systematic sampling was used to determine the research subjects, which consisted of 30 students. The tools used to collect data include observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Then, to determine the difference between before and after the treatment, a series of statistical tests were used, including normality, validity, and reliability tests, as well as the paired sample t-test. The results of the data processing show that after the use of Genially media, students' interest in learning antematika increased. The average student score increased from 46.41 before the treatment to 53.65 after the treatment. Furthermore, it can be concluded that the use of Genially-based learning media has a significant impact on students' interest in learning. The results of the statistical test show a significance value of 0.000, which is below the 0.05 threshold.

Abstract

The low creative thinking ability of elementary school students requires learning that is more contextual, active, and grounded in direct experience. This study aims to describe the implementation of Project-Based Learning using blue pea flowers to strengthen students’ creativity at SD Alam Lampung. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Informants included the principal, teachers, students, and parents selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, documentation, and analysis of students’ products, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings show that PjBL based on blue pea flowers engaged students in observing, designing, processing, producing, presenting, and reflecting on their products. Students’ creativity appeared in fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration through ecoprint, blue pea bika ambon, blue pea pancakes, milk pudding, and lemon blue pea drinks. The study concludes that blue pea flowers can serve as a local project medium for strengthening creativity. The implication is that teachers can use nearby natural materials as creative, collaborative, ecological, and meaningful learning resources aligned with Pancasila Student Profile values. Future studies should broaden school contexts and develop quantitative creativity instruments for stronger empirical evidence.
