Abstract

This research aims to develop and validate BUSAKBAR (Cultural Diversity PocketBook Based on Augmented Reality) as an innovative learning medium to enhancefifth-grade students’ interest in learning Pancasila Education. The study applies aResearch and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model Analysis,Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collectedthrough questionnaires, expert validations, and pre- and post-tests. The findingsrevealed that the BUSAKBAR media achieved high validity, with the materialexpert evaluation reaching 87.5% and the media expert evaluation reaching91.23%, both categorized as highly feasible. Classroom implementationdemonstrated a 47% improvement in learning interest from the pre-cycle to thefirst cycle, with 88% of students categorized as having high or very high learninginterest. The novelty of this study lies in integrating Augmented Reality (AR)technology into a portable pocket book format specifically designed for PancasilaEducation an area that has received limited attention in previous researchcompared to science and mathematics subjects. BUSAKBAR combines visualinteractivity, cultural representation, and character education aligned with thePancasila Student Profile within the Merdeka Curriculum. This innovation providesa practical and engaging learning tool that bridges traditional print-based anddigital learning environments. Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan anak dengan prevalensi 40% di Kabupaten Kupang, khususnya di Desa Sillu yang mencapai 45%. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi bagaimana implementasi konsep civic equality (kesetaraan akses layanan publik dan hak-hak dasar warga) dapat menjadi pendekatan strategis dalam mengatasi stunting. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan 25 informan terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga, kader posyandu, tenaga kesehatan, dan kepala desa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumen, lalu dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akses informasi dan layanan kesehatan belum merata, partisipasi masyarakat masih rendah, dan kapasitas kader posyandu terbatas, yang semuanya menghambat penerapan prinsip civic equality. Faktor sosial budaya, ekonomi, dan kesadaran warga memengaruhi efektivitas implementasi. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan prinsip civic equality, dengan meningkatkan partisipasi, kesetaraan layanan, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, dapat secara langsung berkontribusi pada penurunan prevalensi stunting secara berkelanjutan di Desa Sillu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kedekatan interpersonal antara murid dan pengajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA di sekolah dasar. Efektivitas pembelajaran tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kemampuan kognitif, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh dukungan emosional, kualitas komunikasi, serta interaksi sosial yang terbangun secara positif antara guru dan siswa. Kurangnya kedekatan interpersonal dapat menurunkan motivasi, keaktifan, dan prestasi akademik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei, melibatkan 27 siswa sekolah dasar yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data kedekatan interpersonal diperoleh melalui angket skala Likert, sedangkan data prestasi IPA diperoleh dari nilai hasil belajar siswa. Uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro–Wilk menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal (p = 0,370 dan p = 0,051). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara kedekatan interpersonal dengan prestasi belajar IPA (r = 0,963; p < 0,001). Analisis regresi menghasilkan nilai R Square sebesar 0,927 yang berarti bahwa kedekatan interpersonal memberikan kontribusi sebesar 92,7% terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar IPA. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa hubungan interpersonal yang positif antara murid dan pengajar merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat meningkatkan risiko kejahatan siber pada anak usia sekolah dasar, seperti cyberbullying, online grooming, pencurian identitas, dan pelanggaran privasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk cybercrime yang mengancam anak SD, menganalisis faktor-faktor kriminogen yang menyebabkan kerentanan daring, serta merumuskan strategi pencegahan dini di lingkungan pendidikan dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menelaah literatur ilmiah terkait keamanan digital anak, fenomena cybercrime, dan teori kriminologi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa tingginya aktivitas digital tanpa literasi keamanan yang memadai membuat anak rentan terhadap manipulasi melalui media sosial, gim daring, dan aplikasi pesan. Pencegahan yang efektif membutuhkan integrasi literasi digital dalam kurikulum, peningkatan kompetensi guru, penyusunan kebijakan keamanan digital sekolah, serta keterlibatan orang tua dalam pengawasan daring. Literasi hukum digital juga menjadi elemen penting agar anak memahami etika dan tanggung jawab dalam aktivitas digital. Strategi pencegahan digital pada sekolah dasar harus bersifat multidimensional, mencakup pendekatan pedagogis, teknis, dan hukum untuk menciptakan lingkungan digital yang aman bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' learning motivation in the application of the Deep Learning Approach to digestive system material at SDN 2 Golong. The research problem focuses on the need for a learning approach that not only strengthens conceptual understanding but also fosters students' intrinsic motivation. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, with data obtained thru observation, interviews, and documentation of school principals, teachers, and 20 fifth-grade students. The research results show that implementing PM thru the stages of preparation, exploration, application, and reflection is able to create meaningful, conscious, and enjoyable learning experiences. The PM approach has a positive influence on students' learning motivation by increasing active engagement and deeper conceptual understanding. However, challenges were found in the imbalance of participation in group work. More structured teacher intervention, including role distribution, is needed to ensure equal participation. The limitations of this study include the small number of subjects and its qualitative nature, so further research with a larger population and mixed methods is recommended to test the effectiveness of this approach more comprehensively.

Abstract

The problem in this study relates to the variation in students’ mathematics achievement influenced by differences in learning facility use and parental education levels. Some parents have limited time to accompany their children in studying, while available learning facilities are not always used optimally. This study aims to describe the use of learning facilities, parental education levels, and their influence on students’ mathematics achievement at SDIT Azzahrah. This research employed a quantitative expost facto design with a sample of 30 students. Data were collected through questionnaires, parental education records, and mathematics report cards. Descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression were used for data analysis. The results showed that learning facility utilization was in the moderate category, parental education levels were medium to high, and mathematics achievement was in the fairly good category. However, inferential analysis revealed that both variables did not significantly influence mathematics achievement, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

English tenses play an important role in constructing accurate sentences and expressing clear ideas. Being able to use them accurately will help transfer the information effectively. This study aims to identify students' conceptual understanding of English grammar and the challenges they encounter in learning tenses by interviewing six students and administering grammar tests to 37 students. The results showed that students’ understanding of English tenses is limited to mastery of basic patterns and has not developed into contextual application. This finding was supported by the results of grammar tests indicating their understanding of sentence structure but they failed to distinguish verb forms and use them appropriately in sentences. This indicates that their understanding still focuses on memorizing the forms rather than applying them in real communication contexts. The study highlights the necessity of adopting more contextual and communicative approaches, such as practicing tenses in authentic situations like conversations and writing to enhance students' practical application skills.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of subject-based collection organization in facilitating information access at the Postgraduate Library of Universitas Negeri Padang. The Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system has been applied to all collections; however, the physical arrangement of shelves is organized according to academic disciplines such as Educational Technology, Educational Administration, Social Sciences, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Indonesian Language, English Language, Physical Education, and Environmental Science. This research employs a qualitative method through a literature review of relevant national and international sources. The analysis reveals that subject-based shelving enhances the efficiency of locating materials, increases user satisfaction, and improves information retrieval. The integration between the DDC catalog and the physical shelf arrangement is a crucial factor in maintaining system effectiveness. The main challenges involve maintaining catalog metadata consistency and managing interdisciplinary collections, which require specific labeling strategies. Overall, this system is considered efficient and well-suited to the needs of postgraduate users who focus on thematic research. The study provides recommendations for academic libraries to develop a collection organization model that balances bibliographic standardization with physical accessibility for users.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of learning facilities, information technologyutilization, teachers' perceptions of pedagogical competence, and learningmotivation on students' perceptions of learning outcomes. The analysis resultsindicate that the standardized path coefficients (Standardized Path Coefficient) forlearning facilities (0.457), information technology (0.293), and learning motivation(0.158) are positive and significant in influencing students' perceptions of learningoutcomes. Meanwhile, the standardized path coefficient for teachers' perceivedpedagogical competence (-0.099) was found to have no significant positiveinfluence on students' perceptions of learning outcomes in the context of this study.These findings underscore the importance of optimizing facilities and technology, aswell as sustained efforts to cultivate student motivation, in shaping students' positiveperceptions of their achievements. Further implications are discussed for practicalrecommendations and future research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning model on students’ critical thinking skills in science learning for fifth-grade elementary students. This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students, which are indicated by learning activities that are still conventional and teacher-centered. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which used the STEM model, and the control class, which used conventional learning. Data were collected through a critical thinking test developed based on Facione’s indicators, including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using the Mann–Whitney test to examine the difference in the improvement of critical thinking skills between the two classes. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills after the implementation of the STEM learning model. The average posttest score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, with an increase from 52.4 to 75.6. This improvement covered all critical thinking indicators, particularly in the aspects of analysis and inference. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the STEM model has a positive effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills in science learning, making it an innovative alternative to enhance the quality of 21st-century learning in elementary schools. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang ditunjukkan melalui pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dan berpusat pada guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model STEM dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes berpikir kritis yang dikembangkan berdasarkan indikator Facione, meliputi interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, penjelasan, dan pengaturan diri. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney untuk melihat perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara kedua kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran STEM. Rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, dengan peningkatan rata-rata dari 52,4 menjadi 75,6. Peningkatan tersebut mencakup seluruh indikator berpikir kritis, terutama pada aspek analisis dan inferensi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model STEM berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA, sehingga model ini dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran abad ke-21 di sekolah dasar.
