Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to analyze the motivation of Palopo City residents to participate in sports activities. Regular physical activity plays a vital role in maintaining physical and mental health, yet levels of sports participation in various regions, including Palopo City, vary. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method distributed to 100 respondents from various age groups, genders, and occupations. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to identify factors influencing exercise motivation, such as intrinsic motivation (health, fitness, enjoyment) and extrinsic motivation (physical appearance, social pressure, facilities). The results showed that the majority of residents were motivated by health and fitness factors, while facilities and the social environment also had significant influences. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for local governments and relevant agencies in designing more targeted and sustainable sports programs.

This research was conducted due to the fact that many futsal players at SMAN 4 Luwu still have inconsistent shooting accuracy. Therefore, this study focuses on target training aimed at improving the shooting accuracy of the futsal players at SMAN 4 Luwu. The researcher employed a quasi-experimental method. Data collection was carried out by administering pre-tests and post-tests. The population in this study consisted of 40 individuals, with a sample size of 20. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling and then divided into two groups: ten individuals trained using small goals, and ten using used tires.The research results show that the t-count value in experimental group 1 (used tires) is 0.035 and in experimental group 2 (small goals) is 0.017, both of which are higher than the 5% significance level (0.05), (0.035 > 0.05) & (0.017 > 0.05). Therefore, the accuracy of futsal goal shots by SMAN 4 Luwu players is influenced by training using small target goals and used tires. The mean score of experimental group 1 with small goals is higher than that of experimental group 2 with used tires (14.80 > 14.50). It can be concluded that for SMAN 4 Luwu futsal players, training with small goals is more effective than with used tires.

The use of Wordwall media has proven to be effective in enhancing the vocabulary of early childhood learners compared to conventional methods. Children who learn with Wordwall demonstrate better ability to recall and use new vocabulary, along with higher levels of engagement and learning interest. These findings highlight the importance of utilizing interactive educational technology such as Wordwall to support vocabulary learning during the early stages of child development.

This study aims to determine how the use of the card sort type of active learning method can increase student learning activity in grade IV at SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. This study was conducted at SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung during the 2024/2025 academic year. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, where the data collected were in the form of observational data through observation sheets of students' social skills and also observations of teachers using the card sort learning model. This research was conducted in 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of this study show an increase in student learning activity in the IPAS subject using the Active Learning model of the Card Sort type, as seen in the table of increased. learning activity among fourth-grade students at SDN 182/1 Hutan Lindung. at SDN 182/1 Hutan Lindung. In the pre-intervention phase, the percentage was 44.41% with a D rating (Poor), increasing in cycle I by 19.24% or obtaining a percentage of 63.65% with a C rating (Fair), and increasing again in cycle II by 21.38% or obtained a percentage of 85.03% with a grade of A (Very Good) and has met the predetermined success criteria of 70%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Active Learning method of the Card Sort type in IPAS learning in fourth grade elementary school can increase student learning activity. From the results of this study, it is recommended that teachers continue to improve their competence and knowledge regarding various ways to increase learning activity, one of which is the application of the Card Sort type of Active Learning method in IPAS learning to increase student learning activity in elementary schools.

This study aims to determine the significant effect of the use of the station rotation model on the cognitive learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of fifth-grade students of MI Nurul Ulum Grabagan. This study is a quantitative study with an experimental research type, the research design used is a quasi-experimental design, and the form of research design used is a non-equivalent control group design. The population in the study was the entire fifth grade of MI Nurul Ulum Grabagan, totaling 49 students. The sample used in the study was the fifth grade of MI Nurul Ulum Grabagan, consisting of 24 students of class V-A and 25 students of class V-B. The sampling technique in the study used non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and learning outcome tests. The test instruments used in this study were first tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discriminatory power. The prerequisite tests used were the normality test and the homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing used the paired sample t-test. All tests in this study were calculated with the help of IBM SPSS. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test data analysis, the sig value (2-tailed) obtained was <0.0010 <0.05, so Ho was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the station rotation model on the learning outcomes of class V students of MI Nurul Ulum Grabagan.

This study aims to enhance fifth-grade students’ ability to identify figures of speech through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by “clothes hanger” media. The media were designed to facilitate contextual learning through visual and kinesthetic engagement, helping students grasp abstract literary concepts more concretely and enjoyably. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach involving 30 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri 3 Tegowanu Wetan. Data were collected using a figure-of-speech identification test and analyzed through descriptive statistics and paired t-tests. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ mean scores from 72.10 (pretest) to 79.80 (posttest), with a mean gain of 7.70 points (t(29) = 4.26, p = 0.0002) and a moderate-to-strong effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.78). These results indicate that implementing PBL with simple yet contextual learning media effectively enhances students’ mastery of figurative language while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills.

This study aims to identify learning difficulties and factors that influence mathematics learning difficulties among students in class VC at SDN Pucung III. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects are students in class VC at SDN Pucung III, with a total of 41 students. From this number, five students who have difficulty learning mathematics were selected using snowball sampling. Data collection was conducted through direct observation during the learning process in the classroom to identify the learning problems experienced by the students, as well as in-depth interviews with the students, teachers, and parents to obtain a more comprehensive picture. In addition, documents such as learning outcome reports and teachers' daily notes were reviewed to supplement the information. The conclusion of this study is that students in class VC at Pucung III Public Elementary School experience serious difficulties in learning mathematics, especially in the area of fractions related to solving addition and subtraction problems. Problems arise when they try to understand the relationship between fractions with different denominators. Both external and internal factors play a major role in driving these challenges. To help address such difficult situations, group remedial methods with innovative strategies can be applied to build a positive atmosphere to increase their motivation to learn.

Shooting ability is an important skill in soccer that determines the success of scoring goals. Improving this ability requires proper physical training to optimize muscle strength, coordination, and kicking accuracy. This study aims to determine the effect of various shooting accuracy training in soccer games at SSB RBS Soccer School. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design, where an initial measurement (pretest) was taken before treatment and a final measurement (posttest) after treatment. The study population was 43 players, while the sample consisted of 15 people selected by random sampling. The varied shooting accuracy training program was implemented for 18 meetings which included pretest and posttest data collection. Shooting ability was measured by a kick test from a distance of 15 meters towards a soccer goal that had been given a target net. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, with an average difference of 3.47 points and a significance value of p = 0.011 (p < 0.05). It can be concluded that the training provided is very effective in increasing leg muscle strength, coordination, and body stability which contributes directly to improving shooting abilities in the soccer game of SSB RBS Soccer School players.

This study aims to determine the effect of animated media on the German listening skills of grade XI students at YP HKBP Pematangsiantar High School. This study is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental research design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument used a multiple-choice test consisting of 25 questions. After conducting data analysis techniques, the pretest mean score was 43.8 and the posttest mean score was 87.3. The research sample was class XI-3 with a total of 34 students. Based on the hypothesis testing results using the T-test and N-Gain test, the T-test analysis showed a value of 25.669, while the df level was 33, resulting in a value of 2.034. Therefore, is accepted and is rejected. Based on the N-Gain percentage score N-Gain percentage score of 77.2%. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of animation media on the German listening skills of students in class XI at SMA YP HKBP Pematangsiantar.

This study aims to understand the role of teachers in managing learning for students in inclusive schools with a focus on strategies and practices that support the needs of students with diversity. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and analysis of school documents. The results of the study indicate that teachers play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and adaptive learning environment, as well as supporting the special needs of students. Teachers also play a role in developing individual learning plans and using diverse learning methods to meet students' needs. This study concludes that the role of teachers is crucial in managing learning for students in inclusive schools, and teachers need to have appropriate skills and knowledge to manage learning in inclusive schools. To develop skills in learning management, researchers convey the importance of training and support for teachers to improve their abilities in managing learning in inclusive schools. These findings contribute to the understanding of the role of teachers in improving the quality of inclusive education and provide recommendations for the development of more inclusive education policies and practices.
