Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Muhammadiyah’s Islamic thought in responding to radicalism and religious intolerance in Bima, focusing on the transformation of local religious understanding and the organization’s strategies in promoting moderation and pluralism. The research employs a library research method, collecting and analyzing primary and secondary literature, including Muhammadiyah publications, academic journals, and previous studies, with qualitative content analysis to interpret key concepts, patterns, and strategies. The findings indicate that Muhammadiyah integrates modernist, rationalist, and reformist approaches with local socio-cultural values, implementing educational programs, social initiatives, and theological reinterpretation to foster tolerance and mitigate radical ideologies. Community engagement, inclusive religious activities, and interfaith dialogues contribute to enhancing social cohesion and resilience against extremist influences. The study also highlights Muhammadiyah’s contextually sensitive approach, which adapts programs to local cultural diversity while maintaining universal principles of moderation, distinguishing its model from other organizations. These strategies demonstrate that Muhammadiyah not only functions as a religious institution but also as a proactive intellectual and social actor, offering practical solutions to counter radicalism and promote pluralism. The research provides insights into the role of local Islamic organizations in shaping moderate religious thought and fostering community harmony.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif merupakan sebuah pendekatan dalam pendidikan yang memberikan kesempatan kepada Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) untuk belajar tanpa diskriminasi. Meskipun demikian, penerapan pendidikan inklusif di lapangan masih menghadapi berbagai kendala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan pedagogis guru tentang pendidikan inklusif, peran guru dan sikap guru terhadap (ABK) serta hambatan penerapan pendidikan inklusif di UPTD Sekolah Dasar Sikumana 3. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket (Kuesioner) dan wawancara mendalam terhadap guru kelas yang mengampu pendidikan inklusif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa guru memiliki wawasan yang luas terhadap pendidikan inklusif dan sikap yang terbuka terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan pemanfaatan media teknologi dan visual. Guru memiliki peran sentral dalam pendidikan inklusif berbagai dimensi kompetensi dan kendala yang terjadi di awal. Hambatan ini muncul karena setiap peserta didik, terutama Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK), memiliki kebutuhan dan karakteristik yang beragam.

Abstract

This study looks at how moral philosophy can be included in English learning through group discussions, which aim to help students develop good communication skills based on the values of Pancasila. The main focus is on how group discussions can help build civility, encourage fair participation in speech, and show respect for the dignity of others. These discussions do more than just teach language skills; They also help students understand and practice ethical communication during conversations. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, and involves observing how students interact during discussions. Data is analyzed by grouping information and understanding the meaning behind what is said, based on moral values. The results show that adding moral philosophy to learning helps students become more aware of ethical behavior, reduces the tendency to dominate conversations, increases their willingness to listen, and makes them use more polite language. As a result, discussion becomes a place for equal and thoughtful communication, not just arguments. A unique part of this research is to create a teaching model that combines Pancasila values, ethical communication, and group discussion methods to help students become ethical speakers, not just good at speaking. The study also highlights the need for a set of rules for discussion ethics, a curriculum that includes moral and language aspects, and teachers who guide students to be fair, empathetic, and thoughtful in their communication. These findings suggest a new way of teaching English that focuses on using language to build character and humanity, not just on academic skills.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools is still dominated by conventional teacher-centered methods, resulting in low student engagement and conceptual understanding. This study examines the effect of Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model through peer tutoring on fourth-grade students' mathematics learning outcomes. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population involved 35 fourth-grade students from SD Negeri 08 Durian Kapeh, divided into 20 students in the experimental class (NHT model with peer tutors) and 15 students in the control class (conventional learning). Data were collected through post-tests and analyzed using one-way ANOVA and effect size tests. Results showed a significant difference between both groups (F = 11.603; p = 0.002 < 0.05). Effect size analysis yielded η² = 0.260, ε² = 0.238, and ω² = 0.233, indicating a large effect. The NHT model through peer tutoring contributed approximately 23–26% to the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes. It is concluded that the NHT cooperative learning model through peer tutoring effectively improves students' mathematics learning outcomes. This model not only enhances active thinking and discussion but also develops cooperation, communication skills, and deep conceptual understanding of mathematics. It is recommended that teachers implement this model continuously by utilizing peer tutors, and future research can include additional variables such as learning motivation or critical thinking skills for more comprehensive results.

Abstract

Teknologi digital saat ini sudah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam dunia Pendidikan. Untuk bisamenghadapi perkembangan zaman digital, diperlukan pemahaman tentang literasi digital yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan semangat membaca siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami peran literasi digital dalam prosesbelajar mengajar Bahasa Indonesia, serta mencari strategi yang dapat meningkatkan literasi digital di SMA Negeri 21 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, menganalisis lima jurnal ilmiah dalam lima tahun terakhir, serta mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian inimenunjukkan literasi digital memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menumbuhkan efektivitas belajar melalui penggunaan media digital, akses informasi online, dan media sosial sebagai sarana berbagi hasil belajar.. Strategi yang diterapkan antara lain kebiasaan membaca dengan media digital, penggunaan aplikasi kreatif, serta menyediakan sumber belajar berbasis online. Faktor pendukung utamanya adalah ketersediaan infrastruktur digital di sekolah, sedangkan hambatannya utamanya adalah keterbatasan akses internet dan kuota data. Dengan penggunaan yang tepat, literasi digitaldapat menjadi sarana yang efektif dalam mengembangkan minat baca siswa di era digital.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the linguistic competence gap observed in vocational high school (SMK) students majoring in Visual Communication Design (DKV), where dominant visual communication skills are often not matched by adequate verbal-written proficiency. The core issue addressed is the low mastery of effective sentence rules in composing news texts, which demand high objectivity and precise information. This study aims to identify, analyze, and comprehensively map the forms of effective sentence writing errors in news texts produced by eleventh-grade DKV students at SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study identifies linguistic lapses based on the framework of Alwi et al. (2017). Data were collected through a news-writing performance test. The results reveal a total of 430 errors classified into five major categories. The most dominant error is "Kecermatan" (Precision, involving Spelling & Capitalization) with 182 findings (42.3%), categorized as "Very High." This is followed by "Kesepadanan Struktur" (Structural Balance) with 98 findings (22.8%) and "Kepaduan" (Coherence) with 76 findings (17.7%), both categorized as "High." Additionally, "Kehematan Kata" (Economy of Words) contributed 45 findings (10.5%) in the "Moderate" category, while "Kelogisan" (Logic) was the least frequent with 29 findings (6.7%). These findings confirm that the "visual thinker" characteristic of DKV students leads them to overlook basic mechanical and structural linguistic precision. This mapping serves as a crucial diagnostic tool for educators to design targeted literacy interventions that bridge the gap between visual creativity and formal written communication requirements in the professional creative industry.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools requires a contextual approach that links concepts to students' real environments. However, science learning in dense urban residential areas faces challenges such as limited space, the complexity of environmental problems, and low student engagement. This study aims to explore the problem-solving skills and sustainability awareness of elementary school students in dense urban residential areas of Surabaya through science learning by applying the hypothetical PRISM model based on local potential. This study aims to describe the learning process that occurs in dense urban residential areas of Surabaya as a basis for developing contextual and sustainability-oriented science learning. The research design used was a pre-experimental one-shot case study. The results showed that science learning with the application of the PRISM learning model based on local potential can facilitate problem-solving skills and sustainability awareness of elementary school students in dense urban residential areas of Surabaya. Contextual learning that utilizes the local potential of dense urban areas can strengthen the connection between science concepts and students' life experiences. The environment around students is no longer seen as a limitation, but as an authentic learning resource rich in energy and environmental phenomena. The results of the reflection analysis showed that science learning based on local potential contributes to fostering sustainability awareness in students. The aspects of awareness of sustainable practices and emotional awareness scored well. However, behavioral and attitudinal awareness still requires guidance. The problem-solving skill indicator with the highest score was understanding the problem. However, the aspects of planning a solution, implementing the plan, reflecting, and critical and solution-oriented skills remained in the medium and low categories.

Abstract

This research was motivated by field observations indicating that students’ learning outcomes had not yet been maximized due to the lack of learning activities that actively involved students. This condition occurred because the learning process was still teacher-centered, resulting in low levels of student participation during classroom instruction. The objective of this research was to describe the improvement in students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Grade IV of SDN 16 Air Tawar Timur. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted in two cycles, following procedures that included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collected were related to learning outcomes resulting from the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model. Data collection techniques included observation analysis, tests, and non-test instruments. The research subjects consisted of the classroom teacher as an observer, the researcher as the practitioner or teacher, and 27 fourth-grade students of SDN 16 Air Tawar Timur. The research findings showed the following results. First, the teaching module in Cycle I achieved an average score of 89.6% (Good), which increased to 95.8% (Very Good) in Cycle II. Second, the implementation of learning from the teacher aspect in Cycle I obtained an average of 87.4% (Good), which increased to 96.4% (Very Good) in Cycle II. Third, the implementation of learning from the student aspect in Cycle I reached an average of 89.2% (Good), which increased to 96.4% (Very Good) in Cycle II. Fourth, students’ learning outcomes in Cycle I obtained an average score of 78.8 (Fair), which increased to 94.3 (Very Good) in Cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model can improve students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education in Grade IV of SDN 16 Air Tawar Timur.

Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying in educational environments remains a serious problem because it negatively impacts the psychological, social, and academic conditions of students. Madrasahs, as religious-based educational institutions, have a strategic responsibility to create a safe and character-based learning environment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Anti-Bullying policy at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 7 Bungo, identify factors that influence its effectiveness, and examine its impact on creating a safe madrasa climate. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with the madrasah principal, vice principal for student affairs, Guidance and Counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, and students. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results of the study indicate that the Anti-Bullying policy at MTs Negeri 7 Bungo has been implemented through routine socialization, enforcement of discipline, teacher supervision, use of CCTV, implementation of a violation point system, and the habituation of religious character. Despite persistent barriers such as the perception of bullying as a joke, the influence of social circles, and limited supervision in some areas, this policy has been shown to reduce the intensity of bullying and increase students' sense of security. This research contributes to strengthening the practice of character-building-based anti-bullying policies in madrasah environments and collaboration between madrasahs and parents.

Abstract

Hadith learning plays a strategic role in Islamic Religious Education as a means of instilling values ​​and developing the disciplined character of high school students. This study aims to examine the hadith learning strategies recommended in the literature and their role in fostering students' disciplined character. The method used was library research, analyzing scientific journals, books, and relevant sources. The results of the study indicate that contextually and applicably designed hadith learning can foster students' disciplined character by instilling the values ​​of responsibility, punctuality, trustworthiness, and order. Strategies that have been influential in fostering student discipline include Project-Based Learning, collaborative learning, reflective learning, the use of interactive digital media, and the living hadith approach. The successful implementation of these strategies is supported by infrastructure, support from educators and parents, while obstacles include limited media, learning motivation, Quranic literacy, and teachers' technological competence
