Abstract

Instagram has transformed from a lifestyle platform into a crucial arena for political contestation, particularly in grassroots social movements such as the '17+8 People's Demands' Movement. This study aims to analyze how digital activism on Instagram facilitates political participation and shapes public agendas through visual rhetorical strategies. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with a library research approach, this study integrates Agenda Setting Theory, Connective Action concepts, and Visual Rhetoric. The results indicate that Instagram facilitates connective action through sharing mechanisms that are personal yet massively connected. Visually, the use of infographics and carousel aesthetics functions to frame complex issues into digestible narratives, thereby succeeding in intermedia agenda setting by moving issues from social media to mainstream public discourse. Findings also suggest that while visuals enhance political awareness, there is a risk of deep issue simplification. The novelty of this study lies in the specific analysis of the role of Instagram's visual instruments as the primary variable in shaping protest agendas in Indonesia.

Abstract

thinking, critical attitudes, and life skills from an early age. However, science instruction in elementary education is still often dominated by conventional approaches focused on memorization of concepts. This article aims to comprehensively examine the transformation of science learning through innovative learning approaches and models, namely inquiry learning, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), cooperative learning, and the STEM approach, in fostering 21st-century skills. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing textbooks and relevant scientific sources related to elementary science education. The results indicate that innovative learning models effectively enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Therefore, transforming science learning through innovative approaches is essential to improving learning quality and aligning elementary education with the demands of the 21st century

Abstract

This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SD Negeri 01/VII Pasar Sarolangun. The background of the study arose due to teachers' varying understandings, limited training, and obstacles in preparing teaching materials and implementing differentiated learning. The research method used a qualitative approach through observation and interviews. Using the analysis technique of Miles Hubermen, 2009. The results showed that teachers generally had a positive perception because the Independent Curriculum was considered to provide space for creativity, and more flexible learning in developing learning, and creatively according to needs. although some teachers still experienced technical and adaptation obstacles. Overall, the Independent Curriculum was considered to create more effective and student-centered learning.

Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between students and educators in a designed learning environment to achieve specific educational goals. The success of a learning program depends on educators' ability, facilities, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Evaluation serves as a tool to measure learning objectives achievement and assess teaching method effectiveness. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of Paket C equivalence learning program using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) at Non-Formal Education Unit of Learning Activity Center (SPNF SKB) in Ambon City. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interviews, and documentation methods, the study examined four aspects of the CIPP model. Results on the context aspect showed that the institution's vision and mission aligned with established objectives. In the input component, the curriculum was based on Permendikbud No. 12 of 2024, covering learning facilities, resources, and qualified human resources. The process component evaluated learning implementation including planning, execution, and assessment phases. The product component analyzed student achievement results through final grade records. The evaluation revealed that while the program generally followed established standards, several improvements were needed in learning facilities maintenance, teaching methods variation, and student engagement strategies to enhance overall program effectiveness.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in improving the quality and character of students. One factor influencing successful learning is the use of appropriate media. Observations in grade IV of SDN Sawah Besar 02 Semarang showed that some students had not yet achieved the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP) of 85%. Low learning outcomes were influenced by the lack of engaging learning media, resulting in limited student understanding of thematic material. Interviews with homeroom teachers confirmed that learning media were needed to increase student motivation and interest in learning. This study aimed to develop Flashcard media based on the fairy tale "Malin Kundang" as an alternative thematic learning media to improve student learning outcomes. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which included the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Flashcard media were made using simple materials in the form of picture cards with questions on the back, making them attractive, easy to use, and able to stimulate learning activities. Preliminary studies indicated that the school did not yet have adequate learning media, and students were very enthusiastic about the use of visual media. The development of this flashcard media is expected to help improve students' conceptual understanding, motivation, and learning outcomes in thematic learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai strategi pembelajaran yang dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yang dilakukan melalui telaah mendalam terhadap sejumlah penelitian relevan yang diterbitkan dalam rentang waktu 2015–2025. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi metode dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mampu menumbuhkan motivasi serta kebiasaan membaca pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif seperti project-based learning, pembelajaran berbasis permainan, kegiatan membaca bersama, serta pembelajaran tematik dan kontekstual dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan minat baca siswa. Integrasi teknologi pendidikan, seperti penggunaan e-book, media interaktif, dan aplikasi digital, turut memberikan dampak positif karena menyesuaikan dengan karakteristik anak yang menyukai visualisasi dan aktivitas interaktif. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga dan lingkungan rumah memegang peranan penting dalam menumbuhkan budaya membaca anak sejak dini. Faktor-faktor seperti ketersediaan bahan bacaan, dukungan dari guru, serta sarana literasi di sekolah menjadi unsur yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan program peningkatan minat baca. Di sisi lain, kendala yang sering muncul antara lain minimnya pemahaman guru terhadap strategi literasi, keterbatasan fasilitas, dan pengaruh penggunaan teknologi secara berlebihan. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis teknologi menjadi kunci penting dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar, dengan catatan harus disertai dukungan dari guru, orang tua, serta lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif.

Abstract

Social Studies learning in elementary schools often faces obstacles in visualizing abstract materials such as cultural diversity, resulting in low student creativity and engagement. This study aims to analyze the effectivenesns of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Digital Poster Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) in increasing student creativity. This study used a Mixed Method with a Sequential Explanatory design. The subjects were 27 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Songgom 01. Data collection was carried out through learning achievement tests, poster product assessments, observations, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used the N-Gain test for quantitative data and descriptive analysis for qualitative data. The results showed a significant increase in student creativity, evidenced by an average N-Gain score of 0.63 in the medium category. Students were able to produce original and attractive digital poster products using the Canva application. In addition, students showed high enthusiasm and positive responses to the applied learning. It can be concluded that the PjBL model assisted by Digital Poster E-LKPD is effective in increasing student creativity and creating a joyful and meaningful learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Management of partnerships with the business and industrial world (DUDI) is one strategy to strengthen the link and match between the world of education and the world of work, so that vocational school graduates have competencies that match the needs of industry. The revitalization of vocational schools is a priority program of the government in order to produce graduates who have competencies that match the needs of the world of. The government's attention to the revitalization of vocational schools is outlined in Presidential Instruction No. 9 of 2016, which was refined by the issuance of Ministerial Regulation No. 165/M/2021 as an effort to develop the quality of human resources in vocational schools through the Center of Excellence vocational school program, which emphasizes the importance of strategic partnerships with DUDI. This study aims to describe how cooperation management is implemented at Kautsar Way Sulan Vocational School in establishing relationships with the business and industrial world. The cooperation programs carried out include curriculum synchronization, teacher training, field work practice (PKL), competency certification, and workforce distribution. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that partnership management is carried out by building fostered partners that are strengthened by Islamic principles such as deliberation, mutual assistance in goodness, and communication based on qoulan sadida, baligha, ma'rufa, karima, layyinan, and masyura. Cooperation is evaluated periodically to ensure the effectiveness of the program and as a basis for developing cooperation in the following year.

Abstract

Power point media is an interesting media to foster enthusiasm, interest, motivation and activate students in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Learning motivation is a strength or encouragement by teachers to students so that students become more active and able to increase student involvement in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of power point learning media on the learning motivation of fourth grade elementary school students in science learning. The research method uses quantitative research. The population of this study was fourth grade students at SD Negeri 5 Tulung Selapan as many as 22 students in the control class and 22 students in the experimental class. Data collection techniques used documentation and questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the use of power point learning media had an effect on the learning motivation of fifth grade elementary school students in science learning. This can be seen based on the t-test that has been carried out with the acquisition of a sig value = 0.000 <0.05 so that it can be stated that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to examine students' understanding of financial concepts, financial management practices, access to financial services, barriers to financial inclusion, and the contribution of madrasahs in improving the financial literacy and awareness of students at Madrasah Aliyah Sungguminasa. This study uses a qualitative approach with thematic analysis, involving twenty students selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and group discussions to explore students' perceptions, experiences, and financial behaviors comprehensively. The findings show that students have understood basic financial concepts, such as saving, distinguishing between needs and wants, and using digital wallets. However, they have not mastered advanced financial concepts, particularly investment, risk, interest, and inflation. In terms of financial management, only a small percentage of students keep track of their cash flow, indicating unplanned and inconsistent financial practices. In addition, ownership of bank accounts as a formal financial service is still minimal, but the use of digital financial services is now increasingly widespread and accessible. The main barriers to financial inclusion include lack of knowledge, limited identity documents, minimal parental guidance, and financial education that is not yet applicable. The role of madrasahs through economic education and OSIM activities is considered to have a positive impact, but their implementation is still dominated by theoretical aspects. This study emphasizes the need for continuous practice-based financial education to improve students' financial competence and engagement so that they are better prepared to face the realities of the modern economy.
