Abstract

Obesity is a pathological condition in which there is an excess body fat due to imbalance energy expenditure. Its association with oxidative stress could cause other metabolic disorders such as endothelial dysfunction, atherosclerosis, and cardiovascular disease. Theaim of this study was to assess the correlation of oxidative stress (F2-Isoprostane, Superoxide dismutase and Myeloperoxidase) andendothelial dysfunction (Asymmetric dimethylarginine) which happened in central obese men. A cross sectional study was carried outin 62 central obesity male subjects with ages range between 30−60 years. The researcher determined SOD activity, concentration ofMPO as well as ADMA. In this study was found a significant correlation of F2-Isoprostan (r = 0.333, p = 0.008), MPO (r = 0.386; p = 0.008) and ADMA but not with SOD. The elevated concentration of F2-Isoprostane occur 3.5 times (p = 0.02; 95%; CI = 1.19–10.19), elevated MPO occur 3.7 times (p = 0.023; 95%; CI = 1.16–11.56) while combination of elevated F2-Isoprostane-MPO occur6.7 times (p = 0.011; 95%; CI = 1.33-33.24) will increase the risk of endothelial dysfunction. There was a significant correlation of oxidative stress with endothelial dysfunction, and the increase concentration of F2-Isoprostane and MPO indicates the occurrence of endothelial dysfunction in central obesity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the direction of nationalism narrated in the three winning novels of the contest “How Indonesia Are You?”. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using a post-colonial perspective. The data sources used are the novel Because I'm Not Blind by Redy Ugeng Kuswanto, Kaki Langit Talumae by Wishnu Mahendra, and the novel How to Love Indonesia by Dumamilanta S. Brahmana. The research data are in the form of words, phrases, sentences, or paragraphs that narrate the concept of the nation and the form of nationalism. The results of this study indicate that 1) the three novels describe the construction of the nation as a community with a collective consciousness in the form of history, customs, and natural resources; 2) nation construction contains problematization. The nation is vaguely divided into traditional and modern spaces resulting in social inequality; and 3) Overall the three novels want the integration of locality in nationalism. Thus, the direction of nationalism narrated in the three novels is centripetal nationalism. The direction of centripetal nationalism is believed to be a solution in overcoming the problem of nationalism.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan arah nasionalisme yang dinarasikan dalam tiga novel pemenang Sayembara “Seberapa Indonesiakah Dirimu?”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan perspektif pascakolonialisme. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel Karena Aku Tak Buta karya Redy Ugeng Kuswanto, Kaki Langit Talumae karya Wishnu Mahendra, dan novel How to Love Indonesia karya Dumamilanta S. Brahmana. Data penelitian berupa kata, frasa, kalimat, atau paragaraf yang menarasikan konsep bangsa dan bentuk nasionalisme. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa 1) ketiga novel menggambarkan konstruksi bangsa sebagai komunitas dengan kesadaran kolektif berupa sejarah, adat istiadat, dan sumber alam; 2) konstruksi bangsa mengandung problematisasi. Bangsa secara samar terpecah dalam ruang tradisional dan modern yang mengakibatkan ketimpangan sosial; dan 3) Secara keseluruhan ketiga novel menginginkan intregasi lokalitas dalam nasionalisme. Dengan demikian, arah nasionalisme yang dinarasikan di dalam ketiga novel adalah nasionalisme sentripetal. Arah nasionalisme sentripetal diyakini menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi problematisasi kebangsaan.

Abstract

AbstractPlurality is a fact and can not be denied in society, Islam as a moderate religion, which a justice, and always invites people to facilitate religious and possess compassion for fellow human beings. Islam rejects the conservative attitudes, opacity, and setbacks. On the other hand, Islam also rejects definitively all forms of oppression, hostility, murder, and destruction (on behalf of unifying the Ummah). All humans in the natural world was created from the same origin. No excess of one than the other, but the most good in the discharge of its functions sebagimana caliph of God on earth, which is more useful for humanity, and the most piety to Allah SWT. Differences of race and nation merely as a sign and identity in social life of society. Islam recognizes the plurality, as in Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse; 13. Islam recognizes the differences in nation, tribe, ethnicity and language. This diversity can not be deleted. Abstract

The main problem of the non-optimal management of digital-based records in schools is school archive officers' lack of knowledge and skills. The service activity aims to increase knowledge related to digital-based school archive management and improve digital-based school archive management skills by using the National Education Standard 8-Based Digital Archive Application. This service activity targets the archive or administrative officer at Private Vocational Schools, as many as 25 people throughout Kendal Regency. Service activities use two main methods, namely lectures and direct practice. This service activity has fulfilled three aspects of success, namely: 1) all participants participated in the entire series of activities well, 2) all participants were actively involved during the activity, and 3) more than 50% of participants were able to practice archive management using the 8-Based Digital Archive Application. National Education Standards.

Abstract

Continuous professional development is the development of teacher competencies that is carried out according to needs, continuously improving their professionalism. One type of continuous professional development is scientific publications in the form of research results or scientific ideas in the field of education. The purpose of community service activities is to improve the competence of professional teachers through the preparation of scientific articles resulting from classroom action research. This community service activity targets 25 teachers of Private Vocational Schools in the Kendal Regency. The method of activity used in this community service is the lecture method, question and answer, and discussion. Based on the series of activities that have been carried out, all participants can be actively involved in the discussions of the three main activities. This activity can improve the knowledge and skills of participants to compile articles from the results of classroom action research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hipotesis terhadap pelaksanaan wewenang supervisordalam rangka supervisi akademik dalam perbaikan pembelajaran berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar.Berdasarkan tujuan dan permasalahan yang diteliti, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai denganAgustus 2020, dengan tempat penelitian di Kabupaten Brebes Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Fokus dalampenelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kewenangan supervisoi akademik dalam perbaikanpembelajaran berkelanjutan melalui analisa kesenjangan/gap yang terjadi untuk dicari akarpermasalahannya dan kemudian ditarik kesimpulannya. Teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, danteknik dokumentasi merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasilpenelitian ini berupa hipotesis bahwa komitmen terhadap tanggungjawab dalam wewenang yangmelekat pada diri supervisor melalui bimbingan berkelanjutan, penjadwalan, dan motivasi denganpendekatan yang berbasis kombinasi antara pendekatan behaviouristik, kognitifistik, sertahumanistik menjadi hal mendasar dan berpengaruh terhadap terciptanya peningkatan kualitaspembelajaran secara berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar demi tercapainya output pembelajaran sesuaidengan standar kompetensi lulusan.

Abstract

"Public service" is the provision of services by the government, private entities on behalf of the government, or private entities to the public, either funded or free of charge, to meet the needs or interests of the community. The Kedung Baruk Village Office is one of the networks responsible for various public services, where service quality is a crucial point in the administration of public services. The Kedung Baruk Village Office faces challenges in maintaining and improving the quality of services they provide. Therefore, this research aims to conduct an in-depth review of the quality of public services at the Kedung Baruk Village Office, focusing on population administration and civil registration services. In this study, the author uses a descriptive qualitative research method, with data collection techniques including documentation, interviews, and observation. The primary and secondary data obtained by the author come from observation, documentation, and interviews.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana evaluasi Program Cakap Nikah dalam upaya menekan angka perkawinan anak di Kecamatan Bojonegoro Provinsi Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dengan informan sebagai objek informasi, observasi dan dokumentasi yang memiliki tujuan guna mencapai tujuan untuk memperoleh informasi dalam penelitian. Penulis menggunakan teori evaluasi kebijakan menurut William N Dunn (2003) sebagai acuan untuk menganalisis yang memiliki 6 kriteria yaitu efektivitas, efisiensi, kecukupan, perataan, responsivitas, dan juga ketepatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa evaluasi program cakap nikah dalam upaya menekan angka perkawinan anak di Kabupaten Bojonegoro Provinsi Jawa Timur ini dilihat dari beberapa kriteria masih belum cukup efektif, belum sepenuhnya merata, respon yang kurang baik dari masyarakat dan juga belum tepat sasaran. Tetapi dari kriteria efisiensi dan kecukupan program ini dapat berjalan dengan berjalan dengan efisien dan cukup baik. Pelaksanaan program cakap nikah ini ditemukan beberapa hambatan yaitu Peraturan Bupati yang digunakan dalam program cakap nikah ini masih menunggu regulasi, program tidak tepat sasaran dan juga kurangnya sosialisasi yang dilakukan secara merata.

Abstract

Pendidikan khusus ialah suatu pendidikan untuk peserta didik yang mana dalam mengikuti proses pembelajarannya mengalami kesulitan yang tinggi dikarenakan adanya keterbatasan. Pendidikan inklusif di Kota Surabaya menggunakan payung hukum yang diatur pada Peraturan Walikota Surabaya Nomor 52 Tahun 2022 tentang pedoman penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif di Kota Surabaya dan Peraturan Gubernur Jawa Timur Nomor 30 Tahun 2018. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi kebijakan penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif dalam penyediaan fasilitas murid disabilitas di sekolah inklusif Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penilitian kualitatif. Fokus penelitian menggunakan teori Merile S. Grindle. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan bahwa SMP Negeri 29 Surabaya sudah cukup baik dalam melaksanakan penyelenggaraan sekolah inklusif dan pemerintah Kota Surabaya sudah memberikan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana ke sekolah penyelenggara pendididikan inklusi. Namun, jumlah GPK masih kurang yang mana tidak sebanding dengan jumlah murid berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of illocutionary speech and the value of character education in the speech on the video podcast of Deddy Corbuzier with Syekh Ali Jaber. This type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Sources of research data are utterances spoken by Deddy Corbuzier, Syekh Ali Jaber, and Gus Mifta in Deddy Corbuzier's Podcast video with Syekh Ali Jaber on Deddy Corbuzier youtube channel. The research data is in the form of sentences that reflect illocutionary speech acts and the value of character education. The data collection technique is done by using observation technique. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed: (1) types of illocutionary speech acts include assertive, directive, commissive, and expressive speech acts. (2) The value of character education includes the character of social care, religion, honesty, tolerance, love for the country, creativity, democracy, and love peace. Based on the findings, the dominant character education value in the speech activity is the value of religious character. This can happen, because it is influenced by the background of the speaker and the context of the speech.
