Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven changes in dance learning practices, particularly in the use of media and learning strategies that are more adaptive to student characteristics. However, various studies related to digital technology-based dance learning still tend to be fragmented and focus on the use of specific media separately, thus not providing a complete picture of the pedagogical function of technology in dance learning. This article aims to analyze and map various forms of digital technology and their pedagogical functions in the development of dance learning, particularly in the context of elementary education. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by examining scientific articles relevant to the topic of digital technology-based dance learning. The results of the study indicate that visual digital media plays a role in supporting the understanding of movement structure and details, online learning platforms facilitate learning management and reflection, interactive applications increase engagement and personalization of practice, and social media opens up space for creative expression and collaborative appreciation. The integration of various forms of digital technology shows that dance learning becomes more effective when technology is designed in an integrated manner and aligned with the learning objectives and characteristics of movement-based learning. These findings provide conceptual implications for the development of dance arts learning designs that are more systemic, adaptive to technological developments, and still uphold the values of creativity and aesthetic experiences of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using interactive video-based learning media on students' interest in learning mathematics at SDN Wonokerto 1. This study used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group that used video media and a control group that used conventional learning methods. Data were collected through pretest and posttest questionnaires to measure students' interest in learning, which were then analyzed using a paired t-test. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental and control groups, both in the pretest (t(23) = 0.200, p = 0.844) and posttest (t(23) = 0.268, p = 0.791) scores. Although there was a slight increase in learning interest in both groups, the use of video-based learning media did not have a significant impact on students' interest in learning mathematics. These results indicate that other factors such as students' internal motivation, teacher readiness, and duration of video media use need to be considered in order for this media to have a greater impact on learning.

Abstract

Pancasila Education learning in elementary schools still faces problems in the form of low student learning motivation due to the lack of variety of learning media used by teachers. The learning process tends to be dominated by lecture methods and the use of textbooks, so that students are passive and less actively involved. This study aims to describe the application of the Pancasila pocket board media and the learning motivation of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education learning on the material of implementing rules in the surrounding environment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study type. The research subjects were 24 fourth-grade students of UPT SDN 206 Gresik. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Pancasila pocket board media has a positive impact on the learning process. The use of this media is able to create a more active, interactive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Students showed an increase in learning motivation marked by increased enthusiasm, activeness in discussions, courage to express opinions, and focus during the learning process. The pocket board media also helps students understand the material more concretely through manipulative activities and group collaboration. In addition, this media supports teachers in delivering material more creatively and innovatively. Thus, the Pancasila pocket board can be used as an effective alternative learning medium to increase student motivation and engagement in Pancasila Education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Elementary school students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities play an important role in developing logical and creative thinking; however, these abilities are still not optimal due to limitations in learning models, teachers’ understanding of students’ needs, and the use of technology. Therefore, adaptive and contextual learning innovations are required, one of which is the development of a teaching e-module based on the LDR (Learn, Do, Reflect) model, designed to improve mathematical problem-solving abilities in an interactive and meaningful manner. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness and practicality of a differentiated teaching e-module based on the LDR (Learn, Do, Reflect) model in enhancing the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade elementary school students. The study employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and involved experts, teachers, and elementary school students. Effectiveness was tested through a quasi-experimental design, while practicality was evaluated using interviews, observations, student learning journals, and teacher questionnaires. The results indicated that the teaching e-module received highly positive responses and was effective in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities, as evidenced by a significant difference between the experimental and control groups and a medium N-Gain value, indicating that the e-module is suitable for implementation in elementary school mathematics instruction.

Abstract

Students’ understanding of cube and cuboid concepts has not yet been optimally achieved, as the learning process tends to be teacher-centered and does not sufficiently involve students actively. This condition indicates the need for a learning model that not only actively engages students but also provides meaningful learning experiences. This study was conducted to examine the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in supporting the conceptual understanding of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 34 Medan on the topic of cubes and cuboids. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with the research subjects consisting of 26 Grade VIII students and one mathematics teacher. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and analysis of lesson plan (RPP) documents. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the research findings, the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model was proven to help students improve their conceptual understanding. This was indicated by students’ ability to explain concepts in their own words, relate concepts to real-life situations, and correctly apply surface area and volume concepts. Therefore, Project-Based Learning can be considered an alternative mathematics learning model that is active, contextual, and student-centered.
