Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of elementary school students to apply (C3) the values of Pancasila and their low interest in learning, which is caused by conventional, rote-oriented teaching methods and a lack of innovative media. This study aims to examine the effect of the Deep Learning approach assisted by Baamboozle educational games on the ability to apply concepts (C3) and the learning interest of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of 29 students in the experimental group (SDN Wirolegi 04) and 22 students in the control group (SDN Wirolegi 03). Data were collected through contextual essay tests to measure C3 ability and Likert-scale questionnaires for learning interest. Data analysis was performed using the Independent Samples t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the Deep Learning approach assisted by Baamboozle on both variables, with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The experimental group achieved a higher posttest mean score for C3 ability (85.52) compared to the control group (77.64). Furthermore, the effect size analysis using Cohen’s d indicated a very large category of influence. It can be concluded that the integration of the Deep Learning approach and Baamboozle media effectively improves students' cognitive application skills and learning interest, making it a relevant solution for innovative learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

A study has been successfully conducted on the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall media on the learning outcomes of third-grade students of SDN Karangtempel Semarang. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Wordwall media on the learning outcomes of third-grade students of SDN Karangtempel Semarang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of the study were all 22 third-grade students of SDN Karangtempel Semarang. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The research instruments in the form of pretest and posttest questions were used to measure student learning outcomes before and after the application of the PBL learning model assisted by Wordwall media. The data obtained were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed an increase in students' learning outcomes in science after being given treatment. The average pretest score was 56.9 with a learning completion percentage of 14%, while the average posttest score increased to 88.6 with a learning completion percentage of 91%. The t-test results show that the t-value is 19.352, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Wordwall media is effective in improving the science learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Karangtempel Semarang.

THE ROLE OF GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING TEACHERS IN REDUCING STUDENTS' PROCRASTINATION BEHAVIOR THROUGH INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SERVICES BASED ON COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT) WITH GRADED TASK ASSIGNMENT TECHNIQUES IN COLOMADU STATE HIGH SCHOOL IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2025/2026. Thesis Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta, 2026. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in reducing students' procrastination behavior through individual counseling services based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with graded task assignment techniques in Colomadu State High School in the 2026 Academic Year. This study was conducted at Colomadu State High School. The subjects in this study were BK teachers and students who experienced procrastination behavior. This study is a descriptive qualitative study conducted in four individual counseling meetings. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis utilized data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, as well as data validity testing through theoretical and technical triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the role of guidance counselors through individual counseling services based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with graded task assignment techniques is effective in helping students reduce procrastination. This is demonstrated by positive changes in students, such as increased awareness of the impact of procrastination, the ability to identify and evaluate negative thoughts rationally, and the ability to complete tasks in stages and on time. Therefore, individual counseling services based on CBT with graded task assignment techniques can be an effective strategy in reducing procrastination in students.

Abstract

The ability to read the Quran correctly according to Tajwid rules is an essential competency for every Muslim, especially students in Islamic boarding schools. However, in reality, there are still many problems in mastering Tajwid, such as errors in makhraj (articulation points), letter characteristics, and the application of recitation rules. This study aims to describe the Tajwid learning methods applied at the Sa'adatuddaren Islamic Boarding School in Jambi, identify the difficulties faced by students, analyze supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate innovative learning strategy recommendations to improve the quality of Quranic recitation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews with class VII/VIII students and Tajwid teachers, and document studies. Data were analyzed interactively through data reduction, presentation, and verification using triangulation techniques to ensure the validity of the findings. The results show that Tajwid learning methods in this boarding school are still dominated by conventional approaches such as talqin-taqlid (imitation) and lectures, with limited use of media and variety in techniques. Students face main difficulties in mastering letter articulation points, rules of nun sukun/tanwin, mim sukun, and the application of mad (prolongation). Inhibiting factors include students’ diverse educational backgrounds, low learning motivation, limited facilities, and lack of intensive mentoring. As a recommendation, this study proposes simplifying the material, increasing practical exercises (drills), utilizing audiovisual media, and providing more personalized and needs-based learning mentoring. Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in grade V of SD Inpres Minasa Upa. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of bulletin board media on the learning outcomes of students in grade V of SD Inpres Minasa Upa. This type of research is a quasi-experimental (Quasi Experiment). The subjects of the study were students in grade V of SD Inpres Minasa. Data collection techniques were carried out through initial tests (pretest) and final tests (posttest) of learning outcomes. Analysis of research data using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study showed that the average pretest results of students in the experimental class were 49.86, while in the control class it was 45.32, which indicated that the pretest in both groups was in the low category. The posttest results of students in the experimental class obtained an average value of 73.86 and were in the high category, while in the control class obtained a figure of 61.59 and were in the medium category. The results of the hypothesis test show that the significance value obtained is less than 0.05, which indicates that there is an influence of the use of bulletin board media on the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Inpres Minasa Upa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of flashcard media based on the Global Method on the word reading skills of second-grade elementary school students. The study was motivated by students’ low word reading ability, particularly in terms of fluency, accuracy, and holistic word recognition. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The participants consisted of 46 second-grade students divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test instruments measuring word reading skills. The data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests followed by an Independent Samples t-test. The findings revealed that the post-test mean score of the experimental group (88.48) was higher than that of the control group (75.96). the hypothesis testing showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a statistically significant effect. Therefore, flashcard media based on the Global Method significantly improves students’ word reading skills, particularly in terms of fluency and accuracy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the educational dance approach in dance learning at Kesuma Kindergarten, Bandar Lampung. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects include educators and students of the Matahari class, while the research object is focused on the dance learning process that applies the educational dance approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, documentation and interviews. Data validity is obtained through triangulation of sources and techniques, while data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and finally the conclusion drawing stage. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the educational dance approach in dance learning is carried out through two elements of educational dance, namely, creative dance and expressive dance. The creative dance stage is able to provide space for students to explore movements in forming animals freely, while the expressive dance stage is able to provide space for students to express feelings and emotions through question instructions and broad hand movements. The implementation of learning helps foster students' self-confidence in exploring the forms of aquatic animals, creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, and increasing students' learning readiness so that students become more focused. Overall, the implementation of an educational dance approach can create a fun learning environment and encourage students to be more creative and expressive.

Abstract

This study examines the realization of Speech Acts within online news media, specifically focusing on articles published in the Law and Criminal section of Detik.com, one of Indonesia’s most popular news portals. Drawing on the Speech Act Theory introduced by J.L. Austin (1962) and further developed by John Searle (1969), the research explores how language in online journalism functions not merely as a tool for reporting facts, but as a mechanism for performing actions such as persuading readers, framing social issues, and constructing public opinion. Using a qualitative descriptive design, the study analyzed utterances, statements, and quotations sourced from legal authorities, victims, and suspects in Detik.com articles published between January and October 2025. The findings indicate that assertive/representative speech acts dominate the reporting in the Law and Criminal section. These acts are primarily employed by authoritative sources, such as the police, to provide factual, objective, and instructive accounts of events, thereby shaping the meaning of the case for the public. Furthermore, the study identified the presence of Commissives (used by officials to commit to future actions or disclosures) and Expressives (used by individuals to convey psychological states like relief or shock). This research fills a gap by demonstrating that Detik.com journalists actively perform linguistic actions that construct public trust and shape moral judgments, highlighting how linguistic choices reflect broader social and legal ideologies within institutional discourse.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of third-grade students on the material of sources and energy at SDN Tlogomas 2 Malang City, which is characterized by a lack of active involvement and conceptual understanding. The purpose of the research is to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with two cycles, each including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 28 third-grade students. Data were collected through initial tests (pre-test) and final tests (post-test), observation sheets for student and teacher activities, interviews, documentation, and field notes. Quantitative data analysis was carried out by calculating the average value of learning outcomes and the percentage of individual and classical completion, while qualitative data were analyzed to assess student involvement, participation, and response to PjBL. The results showed a significant increase; the average observation of student activities increased from 71.43% in cycle I (sufficient category) to 82.29% in cycle II (good category), while classical completion increased from 64.3% to 82.29%. The implementation of PjBL also encourages collaboration, creativity, and student responsibility in completing projects related to resources and energy. In conclusion, the PjBL model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, skills, and active participation, making it a suitable alternative learning strategy in the classroom.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in developing students' knowledge, skills, and learning motivation. However, conventional learning methods that rely heavily on lectures and textbooks often make students feel bored and less engaged in the learning process. Therefore, the integration of technology in learning is needed to create a more interactive and engaging learning environment. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Kahoot learning media in teaching the topic of Indonesian archipelago, as well as its effect on students' technological literacy and learning motivation. This research used a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The research was conducted at Sanggar Bimbingan At-Tanzil Putra Kajang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, involving nine third-grade students as research subjects selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using pretest and posttest, questionnaires, and interviews with the class teacher. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS, while qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the implementation of Kahoot in learning can create a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere, making students more active and enthusiastic in participating in the lesson. The findings also indicate an increase in students’ learning outcomes, with the average score rising from 4.11 in the pretest to 8.89 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test result shows a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of Kahoot on students’ learning outcomes. In addition, the use of Kahoot contributes to improving students’ learning motivation and technological literacy. Therefore, Kahoot can be considered an effective digital learning medium to support interactive and technology-based learning.
