The consumption of unhealthy snacks among young children is a serious issue that can disrupt health, growth, and learning concentration. This study aims to describe efforts to reduce the consumption of unhealthy snacks through collaboration between parents and teachers at RA Darussalam. This research used an action research method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation studies. The research subjects were 18 children from group B3, their parents, and teachers at RA Darussalam. The results showed that collaboration between parents and teachers was formed through regular communication, joint educational activities (such as "Healthy Friday"), and agreements prohibiting unhealthy snacks. This collaboration was effective in increasing parental awareness and active participation (98.5%) and the role of teachers (79.3%) in habituating healthy food consumption. However, its effectiveness was still constrained by a less supportive school environment (61.5%), such as the ongoing sale of unhealthy snacks in the canteen and limited nutritional education media. The study concludes that parent-teacher collaboration is an effective strategy for reducing unhealthy snack consumption but requires optimal environmental support and consistent commitment from all parties. It is recommended that schools improve supervision and support facilities, parents increase consistency at home, and future researchers develop digital parenting modules for more sustainable collaboration.

This study aims to analyze the types of expressive speech acts used by the characters in the film Qodrat (2022) and their function in character development and the storyline. This film was chosen because, in addition to its horror genre, it also contains strong Islamic and spiritual values, making it an interesting object for pragmatic studies. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and a case study design. Primary data were obtained from the dialogues of the characters in Qodrat, while secondary data were obtained from supporting literature. Data collection techniques were carried out using listening and note-taking techniques. The analysis was conducted based on the speech act theory proposed by John Searle and Wijana's opinion on expressive speech acts. The results show that in Qodrat, various types of expressive speech acts are present, such as expressions of congratulations, thanks, apologies, praise, blame, and condolences. The function of these expressive speech acts not only describes the characters' emotional states but also strengthens the narrative meaning and creates a horror and religious atmosphere in the film.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Unplugged Coding-based learning in developing students’ Computational Thinking (CT) skills at the elementary school level. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA protocol by reviewing 13 scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025 from various academic databases such as Google Scholar, SINTA, DOAJ, and ResearchGate. The review explores patterns of Unplugged Coding implementation across different learning contexts and its impact on students’ algorithmic, logical, and problem-solving abilities. The results indicate that Unplugged Coding learning is consistently effective in enhancing students’ computational thinking, creativity, collaboration, and learning motivation. Activities without computers—such as logic games, algorithm simulations, and contextual puzzles—help students grasp CT concepts concretely and enjoyably. Moreover, this approach aligns with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum by promoting active learning. Therefore, Unplugged Coding serves as an innovative and inclusive learning strategy to improve the quality of elementary education, particularly in schools with limited technological access.

English is an international language that plays a crucial role in education, technology, and communication. Vocabulary mastery is a fundamental aspect of learning English because it serves as the foundation for other language skills. However, preliminary observations at SD Inpres Ganting revealed that the vocabulary proficiency of fifth-grade students was still low. This issue stems from the use of conventional, teacher-centered learning approaches that do not train students’ reflective thinking skills. This study aims to improve students’ English vocabulary mastery through the implementation of the Visible Thinking Routine (VTR) approach based on the Think Pair Share (TPS) model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 12 fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Ganting, Bantaeng Regency, in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed an increase in teacher and student activities from the “fair” category in Cycle I to the “good” category in Cycle II. The students’ average vocabulary mastery also improved, rising from below the minimum mastery criteria (KKTP) in Cycle I to above the criteria in Cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Visible Thinking Routine (VTR) approach based on the Think Pair Share (TPS) model effectively improves the English vocabulary learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Ganting, Bantaeng Regency.

This research is motivated by the low comprehension of second-grade elementary school students regarding addition and subtraction operations due to the use of conventional and less interactive learning media. This condition causes some students to experience difficulty understanding basic mathematical concepts, leading to learning outcomes that have not yet reached the standard of completeness. This study aims to analyze the needs for Wordwall game-based learning media on addition and subtraction material and to identify the potential for its implementation in increasing students' interest and comprehension. The method used is descriptive qualitative, involving teachers and students through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teachers still predominantly use traditional media even though technology facilities are supportive, while students demonstrate high enthusiasm for visual media and interactive learning activities. Some students still memorize without fully grasping the concepts, highlighting the need for media that provides engaging, repetitive practice. The needs analysis indicates that Wordwall has great potential as a learning medium capable of increasing students' motivation, engagement, and understanding of basic arithmetic operations, making it relevant for implementation in second-grade Mathematics learning.

The curriculum is the core of the educational system, functioning as a structured guideline that directs all learning processes in a coherent and sustainable manner. However, a gap often exists between the ideal curriculum documents and their factual implementation in the field. This study aims to analyze the basic concepts of curriculum development based on classical and contemporary theories and to formulate a development model relevant to addressing the challenges of 21st-century education. The method used in this article is library research by reviewing various literatures, journals, and policy documents, which were then analyzed using qualitative synthesis of curriculum dimensions. The findings indicate that curriculum development can no longer rely solely on administrative approaches or fragmented grassroots approaches. A cohesive integration between national standards and local flexibility is required. The conclusion of this study recommends the application of a hybrid model approach that combines top-down authority for quality standardization with grass-roots initiative for contextual innovation. The implications of this research demand a paradigm shift for policymakers and educational practitioners to be more adaptive to the hidden curriculum and the dynamics of rapid social change to produce competent and character-filled generations.
