Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This research is motivated by the low motivation of students in the material of my dear earth, my poor earth in class V of SDN 008 Langgini. One solution to overcome this problem is to apply the Quantum Teaching learning model. The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in student learning motivation in the material of my dear earth, my poor earth by applying the Quantum Teaching learning model of class V students of SDN 008 Langgini. The research method is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 15 class V students. Data collection techniques were documentation, observation, questionnaires and tests. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that there is an increase in student motivation results after the action, on average in the pre-action activities, the average class value is 55.06 with a classical completeness of 40%, increasing in cycle 1 meeting 1 to 56.6 with a classical completeness of 46%, increasing in cycle 1 meeting 2 to 60.8 with a classical completeness of 53%. The average class value in cycle 2 meeting 1 is 70.73 with a classical completeness of 66%., and increasing in cycle 2 meeting 2, namely 76.33 with a classical completeness of 80%. So it can be concluded that the application of the Quantum Teaching learning model can increase the learning motivation of class V students of SDN 008 Langgini

This research is motivated by the low logical thinking skills of fifth grade students of UPT SDN 011 Koto Tuo. The purpose of this study is to improve the logical thinking skills of fifth grade students of UPT SDN 011 Koto Tuo by implementing the PBL model. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in 2 cycles and each cycle was conducted in two meetings. The subjects of this study were 18 fifth grade students of UPT SDN 011 Koto Tuo. Data collection techniques used in the study were observation, documentation and test techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that students' logical thinking skills increased in each cycle, where the percentage results in cycle I meeting I were 44%, cycle I meeting II 50%, cycle II meeting I 56% and cycle II meeting II 61%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model in Ipas learning can improve the logical thinking skills of fifth grade students of UPT SDN 011 Koto Tuo. Further strategies or modifications to the approach are needed so that learning outcomes can be maximized.

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 008 Langgini. The purpose of this study is to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 008 Langgini by applying the Time Token learning model. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of this study were 16 fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 008 Langgini. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, documentation, and tests. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the students' critical thinking skills improved in each cycle, with the percentage results for cycle I meeting I at 44%, cycle I meeting II at 62%, cycle II meeting I at 75%, and cycle II meeting II at 87%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Time Token learning model in Pancasila Education can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 008 Langgini. Further strategic steps are needed.

Perkemebangan anak usia dini sedang berada dalam masa penting untuk belajar hal-hal dasar, terutama dalam pengenalan konsep dasar seperti angka dan buah-buahan. Namun metode pembelajaran konvensional yang bersifat monoton sering kali kurang mampu untuk menarik perhatian anak. Untuk itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang bersifat interaktif atau bersifat dua arah, menarik dan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi media pembelajaran digital yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana bantu belajar dalam mengenal angka dan buah-buahan. Dalam proses perancangannya, metode User-Centered Design (UCD), yaitu metode yang mengutamakan kebutuhan dan kenyamanan pengguna. Dalam hal ini, pengguna utama adalah anak-anak PAUD, guru, dan orang tua. Penelitian dilakukan di PAUD Miracle Community, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, bersama guru dan anak-anak. Proses perancangan mengikuti empat tahapan UCD, yaitu: memahami siapa penggunanya dan bagaimana cara mereka belajar, menentukan apa saja yang dibutuhkan pengguna, membuat desain aplikasi yang sesuai. anak. Hasil perancangan ini terbukti dapat menarik perhatian anak dan membuat proses belajar menjadi lebih menyenangkan. Dengan mengguakan metode UCD.

This study aims to explore methods for improving discipline through habit formation in elementary schools. This research is based on the importance of character education as a vital element in the national education framework, especially in fostering student discipline from an early age. This study used a literature review method by analyzing various materials, including books, academic articles, and relevant scientific studies. The results showed that reliable habit formation techniques, such as punctuality, fulfilling cleanliness responsibilities, praying before and after class, and obeying school rules, effectively foster discipline in students. Furthermore, the influence of teachers as role models, the use of positive reinforcement, and collaboration between schools and families are crucial factors that strengthen the implementation of these methods. With a structured and sustainable strategy, habit formation can instill a deep disciplined mindset in students and create a supportive, harmonious learning environment oriented towards sustainable and responsible character development.

This community service initiative was designed to support the regeneration of artists, particularly in the field of Karawitan. The program was executed through a combination of individual and group training sessions, including ensemble practices (tabuh bersama). Training was held twice weekly: one session for small groups and one for large group rehearsals. The repertoire taught consisted of gending-gending pakeliran Wayang Gedog Surakarta such as Ayak, Srepeg, Sampak, and others. Adolescents were selected as the target participants due to their productive age range, making them more receptive to the learning materials. Moreover, young people are considered the key agents in preserving Javanese culture, especially the art of Karawitan.The community service comprised three distinct stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In the preparation phase, the drill method was employed as the primary training approach. As a direct result of this program, the youth Karawitan group from Kotakan Village successfully presented a cohesive wayang kulit performance.

The digital era has brought significant changes to adolescents’ lives, particularly in patterns of interaction, behavior, and moral development. Easy access to information and the intensive use of digital media offer opportunities while simultaneously posing serious challenges to adolescents’ moral education. This article aims to examine the implementation of Islamic educational philosophy in adolescents’ moral education within school and family environments in the digital era. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing relevant literature on Islamic educational philosophy, moral education, and education in the digital era. The findings indicate that the core values of Islamic educational philosophy—such as tawhid, the balance between reason and revelation, the integration of faith and knowledge, and the orientation toward the formation of insan kamil—remain highly relevant in fostering adolescents’ moral character. The implementation of these values can be realized through the role modeling of teachers and parents, the internalization of moral values in the learning process, the habituation of positive behavior, and the strengthening of digital literacy based on Islamic ethics. Therefore, synergy between schools and families grounded in Islamic educational philosophy constitutes a strategic key to shaping adolescents with strong character and ethical awareness in the digital era.

This study is motivated by the importance of self-confidence as a psychological factor influencing students’ learning independence. Self-confidence is believed to encourage students to become more active, initiative-driven, and responsible in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between self-confidence and learning independence among students of classes VIII A and VIII E at SMP Negeri 30 Padang. The study employed a quantitative correlational design. The sample was determined using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through self-confidence and learning independence questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using the Product Moment correlation technique. The results indicated that students’ self-confidence was categorized as fairly good, while learning independence was categorized as good. Correlation analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between self-confidence and learning independence. These findings suggest that higher levels of self-confidence are associated with higher levels of learning independence. Therefore, teachers and schools are expected to implement learning strategies that foster students’ self-confidence to enhance their learning independence. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan siswa dalam memahami dan menerapkan unsur-unsur penulisan teks cerpen. Selain itu, pembelajaran menulis masih dianggap membosankan oleh sebagian besar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media video animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Lengayang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimen menggunakan rancangan One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Lengayang, dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI F2 yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes unjuk kerja menulis teks cerpen. Data diperoleh dari skor keterampilan menulis cerpen sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model PBL berbantuan media video animasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa sebelum perlakuan berada pada kategori cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 64,32, terutama lemah pada penguasaan unsur-unsur cerpen. Setelah perlakuan, keterampilan menulis siswa meningkat ke kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 79,17. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model PBL berbantuan media video animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa pada taraf signifikansi 95%, dengan thitung > ttabel (4,785 > 1,70). Dengan demikian, model PBL berbantuan media video animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks cerpen, motivasi belajar, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

This study aimed to develop an Android-based interactive learning media for the Informatics subject for Grade X DKV students at SMK Negeri 1 Koto Baru. The research was motivated by the need for more innovative learning media, considering that most students already own Android smartphones, while their utilization in learning activities remains limited. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The product was developed using Adobe Animate CC by integrating learning materials, animations, and interactive features. The feasibility of the media was evaluated through validation by material experts and media experts, as well as practicality testing by teachers and students. The validation results indicated that the media was categorized as valid, with an average score of 0.86 from material experts and 0.89 from media experts. The practicality test yielded scores of 90.67% from teachers and 86.80% from students, both classified as very practical. These findings suggest that the developed Android-based learning media is feasible, easy to use, and effective in supporting a more engaging and interactive Informatics learning process.
