Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self-efficacy dan kecemasan matematika terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Inpres BTN IKIP II. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Sampel berjumlah 26 siswa dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket self-efficacy dan kecemasan matematika serta dokumentasi nilai hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, sehingga semakin tinggi self-efficacy siswa maka semakin baik hasil belajarnya. Sebaliknya, kecemasan matematika tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dengan kontribusi sebesar 43,4%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy menjadi faktor psikologis yang lebih dominan dalam mendukung hasil belajar matematika siswa.

This study aims to analyze the mechanisms and impacts of parents’ spirituality-based parenting on students’ emotional resilience in facing academic pressure. The background of this study is based on the increasing phenomenon of academic stress and the important role of spiritual parenting in shaping students’ character and mental resilience. This research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design conducted at SMPIT Al Wakil. The research subjects included parents, students, and teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results indicate that spirituality-based parenting positively influences students’ emotional resilience. Students who receive spiritual habituation within the family tend to be better at managing emotions, remain calmer in dealing with academic pressure, and demonstrate more patience and responsibility. Parental role modeling and non-pressuring parenting practices are key factors in shaping these outcomes. In addition, schools contribute by reinforcing spiritual values through character-building programs. However, limited family communication remains a constraint affecting students’ openness. This study concludes that the integration of spiritual parenting and the educational environment significantly contributes to the development of students’ emotional resilience and can serve as a reference for character-based education development.

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of elementary school students, which are influenced by the dominance of conventional teaching methods and limited active student participation. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on improving students’ learning outcomes in Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS). This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest format. The participants consisted of 22 fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Brebes. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments administered before and after the implementation of the PBL model. The data were analyzed using normality testing, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the implementation of PBL had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. In addition, the average N-Gain score of 0.7168 was categorized as high, suggesting that the PBL model is effective in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding in IPAS. Therefore, Problem Based Learning has the potential to serve as an alternative instructional strategy to improve the quality of learning and promote active student engagement in the learning process.

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Biography Text learning in the application of a deep learning approach based on the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model for class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Solok Selatan. The method used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data and research data sources were obtained through documentation results (teaching modules and other tools), observations (learning observations), interviews (Curriculum Vice and Indonesian Language teachers), and student response questionnaires. Data validation techniques were carried out through triangulation techniques (cross checks). The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the deep learning approach based on the PjBL model has been carried out very well, starting from the planning shown through the preparation of complete learning tools and the integration of PjBL syntax and deep learning principles. The implementation of student-centered learning through project-based introductory, core, and closing stages, and evaluation using authentic assessments that include diagnostic, formative, and summative. The results of the questionnaire showed a very positive student response, marked by increased motivation, understanding of the material, the creation of enjoyable learning (joyful learning), and the development of critical thinking skills through the pillars of mindful learning. However, this study identified a challenge in the form of a lack of student engagement in group activities, necessitating more optimal learning management to ensure more equitable student participation. This study recommends the use of a deep learning approach based on the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model as an effective, innovative strategy for creating more meaningful and active Indonesian language learning at the high school level.

This study is motivated by students' low speaking skills, which is influenced by a lack of self-confidence, limited opportunities to practice communication, and the use of teaching methods that focus more on grammar than on communicative skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method on the speaking skills of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu. The research used a quasi-experimental approach with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: VII.1 as the experimental class and VII.2 as the control class. Data were collected through speaking tests in the form of pre-tests and post-tests with assessments on fluency, accuracy, and comprehension. The results showed a significant improvement in the speaking skills of students in the experimental class, with the mean score increasing from 53.39 to 63.97. Meanwhile, the control class also experienced an increase from 47.91 to 56.66, but not as much as the experimental class. Statistical tests showed a significance value < 0.05, which means there is a significant effect from the implementation of the CLT method. Thus, the Communicative Language Teaching method proved effective in improving students' speaking skills. Keywords: Communicative Language Teaching, Speaking Skills, Teaching Method.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing learning outcomes in the CAD subject using AutoCAD software among twelfth-grade students of the Mechanical Drawing Engineering Department at SMKN 2 Serang City. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method with a saturated sampling technique, involving 37 students as both the population and the sample. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that students’ internal factors are in the moderate category, reflected in suboptimal motivation, interest, attention, and learning readiness, while external factors also fall within the moderate to high category, with remaining constraints in learning facilities and teaching methods that do not fully support effective AutoCAD practice. Furthermore, students’ learning outcomes in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains are categorized as moderate. These findings suggest that although students possess a basic understanding, their ability to independently apply AutoCAD still requires improvement through the enhancement of both internal and external learning.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of management functions (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling) in improving the performance of early childhood education institutions in the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program (PIAUD) at UIN Raden Fatah. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed through data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation involving program leaders, lecturers, and educational staff. The results indicate that the implementation of management functions has been carried out systematically: planning includes the formulation of vision and mission as well as structured work programs; organizing is conducted through a clear division of tasks; the implementation of academic and non-academic activities is relatively in accordance with the plan despite some technical constraints; and controlling is conducted through periodic evaluations. This effective implementation contributes to improving learning quality, educators’ professionalism, and institutional management effectiveness. Therefore, continuous optimization of management functions is the key to improving the quality of early childhood education.

The development of information technology and social media has transformed the patterns of religious knowledge dissemination, marked by the emergence of instant religious authority. While this phenomenon facilitates access to information, it also has the potential to produce shallow and unverified religious understanding, as well as to foster exclusive and intolerant attitudes among students. This study aims to examine the integration of critical epistemology in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as a strategy to address this phenomenon. The research employs a qualitative approach using library research, involving the collection and analysis of relevant literature through content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the application of critical epistemology emphasizing reflection, rationality, source analysis, and constructive skepticism can enhance students’ religious and digital literacy. This approach also promotes deeper and more contextual religious understanding, as well as moderate, open, and tolerant attitudes toward differences. Furthermore, the integration of critical epistemology requires adaptive curriculum development and the improvement of teachers’ competencies in critical-based learning. Therefore, critical epistemology serves as a strategic approach to strengthen the role of Islamic Religious Education as a filter against the flow of religious information in the digital era.

This study aims to map the profile of students’ critical thinking skills on the topic of motion at the junior high school level using a descriptive and empirical approach. The background of this research is based on the importance of critical thinking skills in science learning, as well as the gap between curriculum demands and actual classroom conditions. The study employs a quantitative descriptive design with a survey approach. The research subjects consist of 31 eighth-grade students who have studied the topic of motion. The instrument used is a multiple-choice test designed to measure five indicators of critical thinking, namely elementary clarification, basic support, inference, advanced clarification, and strategies and tactics. Data are analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, median, mode, standard deviation, as well as minimum and maximum values. The results of the study indicate that the average students’ critical thinking score is 65.4, which falls into the moderate category. Indicator-based analysis shows that the highest achievement is in the basic support indicator (71.0), followed by inference and advanced clarification (68.8), elementary clarification (63.4), and the lowest in strategies and tactics (54.8). These findings suggest that students are relatively capable of using information and drawing conclusions, but still have weaknesses in designing problem-solving strategies. Gender-based analysis shows no significant difference in the overall scores, although there are slight variations across certain indicators.

This study aims to identify and map the criteria commonly used in a comprehensive overview so that they can serve as a reference and facilitate other researchers who wish to conduct research using textbook criteria as an analytical tool or evaluation instrument. This study is a literature review based on Krippendorff’s content analysis model, employing a descriptive-analytical approach, aimed at examining, identifying, and synthesizing research related to textbook suitability criteria across various scientific articles on the content analysis of Arabic textbooks in Indonesia from 2021 to 2025. The results indicate a diversity of standards in the analysis of Arabic textbooks in Indonesia, categorized into three main orientations. First, the dominance of BSNP/BSKAP criteria reflects a general and administrative national evaluation approach. Second, the use of Mackey and ACTFL perspectives signifies a shift toward a pedagogical approach focused on the learning process and communicative competence. Third, the approaches of Al-Fauzan and Thuaimah offer a more specific integrative model within the tradition of Arabic language teaching by comprehensively combining linguistic, cultural, and pedagogical aspects.
