Abstract

This abstract describes the problem of low student interest and learning outcomes caused by the use of conventional media such as whiteboards and PowerPoint presentations, which are power text. This study aims to produce interactive learning media based on Adobe Animate CC for correspondence, and to determine its feasibility and student responses at SMK IPIEMS Surabaya. This study is a research and development (R&D) study using Thiagarajan's 4D model. The procedure consisted of the define, design, and develop stages. Data collection instruments used expert validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results showed the media was highly feasible based on assessments from material experts (82.75%) and media experts (96.00%), with an average of 89.37%. A limited trial with 20 grade X MP 2 students showed a very positive response of 97.5%, categorized as "very strong." Therefore, this media is suitable for use as a supporting tool for correspondence learning

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a valid, practical, and effective guided inquiry-based electronic learner worksheet (E-LKPD) to improve students' critical thinking skills on chemical bonding materials. This research and development is designed based on the stages of the 4-D development model that is adapted to 3-D, including the define, design, and develop stages. The sample in this study is 32 students in class X-4 MAN 1 Medan. Based on the results of the study, the validity of the E-LKPD developed obtained an average percentage of assessment of 93% by experts with very valid qualifications. Through the E-LKPD practicality questionnaire by teachers and students, an average percentage of assessment of 85.4% by teachers and 90.4% by students with qualifications classified as very practical to be used in the learning process was obtained. The implementation of learning with the application of E-LKPD based on guided inquiry has been carried out to see the effectiveness of E-LKPD with a set assessment reference, namely for completeness based on the gain analysis obtained from pretest and posttest scores to see the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in chemical bond materials, the results were obtained that students' critical thinking skills have increased with an average gain score of 0.70. This means that the increase is in the high category. Based on the data obtained from the research, it is concluded that the guided inquiry-based E-LKPD developed in this study has met the valid, practical, and effective qualifications.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the phenomenon of moral degradation among the younger generation, as well as the gap between national educational goals and educational practices that still tend to emphasize cognitive aspects over character development. On the other hand, studies on classical Islamic ethical values and modern educational approaches are still conducted separately, necessitating an integration that is more relevant to today’s educational needs. This study aims to identify character values in the book Adab al-Dunya wa al-Din by Al-Mawardi, to elaborate on the concept of the Five Loves in the Love-Based Curriculum (KBC), and to analyze the relevance between the two in the context of character education. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research. The primary data sources consist of the book Adab Al-Dunya wa Al-Din and the Love-Based Curriculum Guidelines based on the Decision of the Director General of Islamic Education No. 6077 of 2025. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis through the stages of data reduction, thematic coding, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that character values according to Al-Mawardiare comprehensive as they encompass intellectual, spiritual, social, and personal dimensions. These values have a strong relevance to the five pillars of Panca Cinta in the KBC, particularly regarding love for God, knowledge, fellow human beings, the environment, oneself, and the homeland. This integration demonstrates that classical Islamic educational thought can serve as a foundation for building character education that is humanistic, spiritual, and contextual for the modern generation. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teacher professional ethics in implementing a love-based curriculum to support the development of religious, moral, and socioemotional values in early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method by reviewing various relevant scientific sources such as journals, books, and proceedings. The results show that a love-based curriculum emphasizes affection, empathy, and positive relationships between teachers and children, which significantly contribute to children's character development. Teacher professional ethics, including responsibility, fairness, and exemplary behavior, plays a crucial role in creating a supportive learning environment. Furthermore, the integration of a love-based curriculum effectively enhances children's moral awareness and socio-emotional skills. Therefore, the synergy between teacher ethics and a love-based curriculum is essential in achieving holistic early childhood education.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Society 5.0 has brought significant changes to the world of education, including in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (IRE). This study aims to analyze the concepts, principles, characteristics, types, and relevance of developing digital learning media in improving the quality of IRE instruction. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach through the analysis of various relevant scientific literature sources, such as journals, books, and previous research findings. The data analysis technique employs content analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research findings indicate that digital learning media in Islamic Education (PAI) are information technology-based tools capable of enhancing student interactivity, motivation, and comprehension. The development of effective media must adhere to the principles of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, appeal, and the integration of Islamic values. Various types of media, such as audio, visual, audiovisual, e-learning, and interactive media, have been shown to contribute positively to the learning process. However, their implementation still faces challenges in the form of limited infrastructure, teachers’ digital competencies, and ethical aspects of technology use. Thus, the development of digital learning media is highly relevant to improving the quality of PAI learning to make it more interactive, contextual, and meaningful, as well as capable of supporting the character development of students in the digital age. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of mathematical reasoning ability in mathematics in grade IV of SDN 007 Bangkinang. One solution to overcome this problem is to apply the POE (Predict Observe-Explain) learning model. The purpose of this research is to improve reasoning ability in mathematics. This research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research time was carried out in April-May 2024. The subjects of this research were 23 grade IV students. Data collection techniques were in the form of tests, observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that through the POE (Predict ObserveExplain) learning model, reasoning ability in mathematics was improved. This was shown before conducting the research, students' reasoning ability was 20%, then in cycle I meeting I increased to 55%, cycle I meeting II to 60%, then in cycle II meeting I to 77%, and cycle II meeting II increased to 84%. Thus, it can be concluded that using the POE (Predict Observe-Explain) learning model can improve the mathematical reasoning abilities of students in class IV of SDN 007 Bangkinang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by the traditional marble game on the mathematical numeracy skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. This study implemented a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design involving an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received treatment through the TPS learning model assisted by the traditional marble game, while the control group applied conventional learning methods. The research instrument consisted of tests administered during the pretest and posttest to measure students’ numeracy skills. The findings revealed that the average pretest score of the experimental group was 58.81 and increased to 88.66 in the posttest, while the average posttest score of the control group was 69.12. The results of the hypothesis testing indicated that the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000 < 0.05, showing a significant effect of the TPS learning model assisted by the traditional marble game on students’ numeracy skills. In addition, the N-gain calculation results showed that the experimental group obtained a score of 0.72 (high classification), whereas the control group obtained a score of 0.34 (moderate classification).

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited understanding of students' concepts on the topic of force in the science subject in grade IV of Krapyak Wetan Elementary School, Bantul. This condition is triggered by the dominance of teacher-centered instructional methods so that student participation is less than optimal. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the implementation of the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create (RADEC) learning model on student concept mastery. A quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent control group design was applied to 40 subjects divided into an experimental class (n=21) and a control class (n=19). The evaluation instruments in the form of a pre-test and post-test were processed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, t-tests, and N-Gain calculations. The results of the analysis revealed that the average post-test score of the experimental class reached 80.16, exceeding the control class which only obtained 62.06. Statistical support in the form of a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05) confirmed a significant disparity between the two groups. Based on the N-Gain, the experimental group showed a moderate increase (0.581), while the control group showed a low increase (0.270). Thus, the RADEC model has proven effective in increasing understanding of science concepts at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of educational financial management in supporting the improvement of educational quality at SD Negeri Cikandang 01. The study employed a qualitative approach with a single-case study design. Research participants consisted of the school principal, the school treasurer, two teachers, and the chairperson of the school committee, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis of the School Activity and Budget Plan (RKAS) for the 2026 fiscal year. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model involving data reduction, thematic categorization, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that the school remains highly dependent on Regular School Operational Assistance Funds (BOSP), amounting to IDR 135,780,000, with budget allocations predominantly directed toward routine operational needs rather than teacher capacity development. Under these fiscal constraints, the school implemented an adaptive fiscal prioritization strategy through the optimization of Teacher Working Group forums, continuous academic supervision, internal reflective discussions, and the utilization of free online professional development programs. This study concludes that the effectiveness of educational financial management in resource-constrained primary schools is determined more by strategic budget prioritization, managerial creativity of school leaders, and internal collaboration than by the nominal amount of available funding. The findings propose a conceptual model of efficiency- and collaboration-based financial optimization as a strategic alternative for public primary schools operating under limited fiscal capacity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling using the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach in improving the self-confidence of students without a father’s role at SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The research method used is an experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design, which compares the experimental group and the control group that were not randomly selected. Both groups were given a pre-test and post-test to determine the differences in self-confidence levels before and after the treatment. The research sample consisted of 10 students who had low self-confidence and experienced the absence of a father’s role, divided into an experimental group and a control group using purposive sampling technique. Based on the calculation results, the average pre-test score of the experimental group was 113.40 and the average post-test score was 135.80, indicating an increase in self-confidence after the treatment was given. Furthermore, the calculated t-value using the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance value less than 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in students’ self-confidence levels before and after being given group counseling with the SFBC approach. The results of the comparison test with the control group also showed that the increase in self-confidence in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that group counseling using the Solution Focused Brief Counseling approach is effective in improving the self-confidence of students without a father’s role at SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak.
