Abstract

Siswa menunjukkan kemampuan terbatas dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika yang sangat terkait dengan kompetensi metakognitif yang kurang berkembang dalam mengatur proses kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan terstruktur dan komprehensif terhadap kemampuan metakognitif siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika melalui pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistis (RME). Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis (SLR) dengan meninjau artikel ilmiah yang dianggap relevan dalam periode publikasi 2020–2026 yang bersumber dari Google Scholar. Proses analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan tahapan penyaringan, pengkategorian, dan pengintegrasian hasil penelitian. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi metakognitif siswa tetap berada pada tingkat menengah, terutama dalam hal perencanaan strategi, pengawasan aktivitas kognitif, dan pelaksanaan evaluasi. Selain itu, metakognisi menunjukkan hubungan positif dengan keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika, sementara RME mendukung peningkatan kedua dimensi tersebut. Kesimpulannya, penggabungan pengembangan keterampilan metakognitif ke dalam kerangka RME merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk memecahkan masalah matematika secara efektif.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate the feasibility of a climate-themed monopoly board game learning media called MISIK (Misi Iklim Kita) as an interactive learning medium for elementary school students at PKBM EduHouse Semarang. This research employed the 4D development model consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The research subjects included media experts, material experts, and users represented by teachers. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instrument used a Likert scale to assess the feasibility aspects of the media. The results of the study showed that the development process through the 4D stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, produced a learning media with a very high level of feasibility. The media expert validation obtained a percentage score of 96.2%, while the material expert validation reached 88.3%. In addition, user responses showed percentage scores of 91.6% and 86.6% with an average of 89.1%, all of which were categorized as highly feasible. These findings indicate that the MISIK monopoly board game meets the feasibility criteria for use in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the family environment on the development of religious and moral values in early childhood. The family is the primary educational environment for children and plays a crucial role in shaping both positive and negative behavioral habits through habituation, role modeling, and parenting practices. This study employs a literature review approach by examining various scholarly sources related to religious education and children’s moral development. The findings reveal that families that are harmonious and religious, and that provide good examples through worship practices, positive communication, and the cultivation of moral values, are able to shape children’s character to be virtuous and possess integrity from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Wordwall Spinner media on the motivation and learning outcomes of grade IV students at UPTD SDN Pejagan 1. The research uses a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection was carried out through a learning motivation questionnaire and a learning outcome test, then analyzed using normality tests and paired sample t-tests. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) on learning motivation and learning outcomes, so it can be concluded that the use of Wordwall Spinner media has a significant effect on increasing student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of social media has encouraged companies to create content strategies that build audience interaction. PT Fatih Amanah Sejahtera uses Instagram @fatihkosofficial as its main platform to market products and reach students. This study aims to analyze the creative strategies of content creators in increasing engagement rates. The research used a qualitative descriptive method through observation, active participation, interviews, documentation, and Instagram insight analysis during the internship period from January to May 2026. The results show that content management was carried out through planning, production, distribution, and evaluation stages. The strategies were analyzed using the Dimensions of Consumer Engagement theory by Brodie et al. (2013) The findings indicate that these creative strategies increased content relevance, expanded audience reach, and encouraged organic interaction.

Abstract

The development of educational technology has encouraged elementary schools to utilize more interactive and adaptive digital learning media, one of which is through the use of Smart TVs. This study aims to analyze the utilization of Smart TVs as digital learning media to improve interaction and independent learning among elementary school students. The research employed a literature review method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through a review of various national scientific articles published between 2021–2026 from Google Scholar, Garuda, and accredited national journals. This study refers to 10 scientific journals discussing the utilization of Smart TV-based digital learning media and interactive technology in elementary school learning as the foundation for the research analysis.. The results of the review indicate that Smart TVs are capable of creating a more engaging learning process through videos, animations, interactive quizzes, and educational games that can enhance students’ attention, motivation, and participation during the learning process. In addition, Smart TVs support adaptive learning because teachers can adjust the learning materials according to students’ needs and learning abilities. The use of digital applications such as Wordwall, Liveworksheet, and Google Slides also helps create an active, innovative, and enjoyable learning environment, enabling students to become more independent in understanding the material. Based on various previous studies, the use of Smart TVs has a positive impact on the quality of learning in elementary schools, especially in building two-way communication between teachers and students. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, such as limited internet access, inadequate school facilities, and the need to improve teachers’ digital competencies. Therefore, training and technological facility development are needed to ensure that the utilization of Smart TVs can be implemented optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of multiplication board learning media on the understanding and independence of Grade IV B students in mathematics at UPTD SDN Sepuluh 01. The type of research used is quantitative research with a one-group pretest–posttest design method. The population in this study consisted of all Grade IV B students with a total sample of 30 students.The instruments used in this study included a test instrument in the form of questions to measure students’ learning understanding, while the non-test instrument was a questionnaire to measure students’ independence. To determine whether the instruments were appropriate to use, validity and reliability tests were conducted. Meanwhile, to test the hypothesis, normality testing and paired sample t-test were used.By using the SPSS application, the results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there is an effect of the multiplication board learning media on students’ learning understanding. In addition, the second test output also showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there is an effect of the multiplication board learning media on students’ independence.Therefore, it can be concluded that the multiplication board learning media has an effect on the understanding and independence of Grade IV B students in mathematics at UPTD SDN Sepuluh 01.

Abstract

Science extracurricular programs in elementary schools are strategic activities that support the development of students’ learning competencies outside of formal instruction. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, supervision, and contribution of science extracurricular programs to the improvement of students’ learning competencies. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design at MIN 2 Jember, which was selected for its consistent achievement in science. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results indicate that the program was systematically designed based on the school’s vision, involved all stakeholders in its implementation, and was supported by progressive learning materials. Program implementation emphasized active student engagement through a “learning by doing” approach, such as experiments, observations, and competitions. Routine evaluations were conducted to ensure the program’s sustainability. This program contributes significantly to students’ conceptual understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic achievement. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a conceptual model for a structured science extracurricular program as an effective educational strategy to comprehensively enhance elementary school students’ learning competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the achievement of social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDIQ Ar-Risalah Lubuklinggau. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a one group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study consisted of all fourth grade students of SDIQ Ar-Risalah Lubuklinggau in the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 101 students. The sample of this study was class IV Al-Fatih, consisting of 20 students. The data collection technique used was a test. The results showed that the average pre-test score of students was 53.7, while the average post-test score increased to 89.2. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. The result of the final test (post-test) at a significance level of α = 0.05 showed that Tcount > Ttable (9,5302 > 1.72913), which means that H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model in social studies learning for fourth grade students at SDIQ Ar-Risalah Lubuklinggau in the 2025/2026 academic year significantly achieved the minimum mastery criteria (KKTP).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach on the reading ability of elementary school students through a systematic literature review. TaRL is a learning approach that focuses on students' actual ability levels rather than grade levels, developed by Pratham in India and widely adopted in various countries. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with four stages: database identification, title identification, abstract and keyword suitability screening, and selection of reviewed articles. Articles were sourced from three databases Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, and ERIC published between 2019 and 2024, using Boolean keyword searches. From 1,847 articles found, after a systematic review process, 25 articles met the inclusion criteria and were reviewed. The results show that the TaRL approach is significantly effective in improving students' reading ability, especially for students who are below grade-level reading standards. TaRL is proven to increase reading fluency, comprehension, and early literacy skills through level-based grouping, diagnostic assessment, and targeted instruction. These findings reinforce TaRL's potential as an adaptive and evidence-based instructional strategy for improving reading quality in elementary education.
