Abstract

This study aims to explore and introduce ethnomathematics-based learning through the traditional rope-skipping game at SDN Margorejo Surabaya, especially in class II-A. The method used in this study is qualitative, which relies on in-depth descriptions of data and facts surrounding the subject being studied. In this context, an ethnographic approach was chosen to understand the concept of numbers in mathematics contained in the traditional rope-skipping game. The research data were collected from class II-A at SDN Margorejo I Surabaya. Data collection techniques include student assignment sheets, written tests, and interviews. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study, which applied the triangulation technique, showed that there was a similarity in meaning between the results of the written test and the results of the interview, which indicated the validity and credibility of the study. This shows that the application of the traditional rope-skipping game can link mathematical concepts, especially number material.

Abstract

Problems and challenges in the education system in Indonesia are unavoidable, especially at the elementary education level. Existing problems must be resolved immediately considering that they will have an impact on school operations and the quality of education in schools. Strategic planning is a very important role in creating a specific action plan in solving problems in an organization. This study is a literature review that aims to determine the challenges, processes or stages and impacts of strategic planning in elementary education units using the PRISMA flow. After searching for articles through the Google Scholar database, 7 articles were obtained that met the research criteria. The results of the review concluded that the challenges of strategic planning are: inaccuracy in decision making, limited time, funds and human resources and results that are not in accordance with objectives. This study found four strategic planning processes, namely: considering the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the organization, involving stakeholders in strategic planning, implementing program management and evaluating the internal and external environment. The impact of strategic planning is to improve school performance and managerial efforts so as to create elementary education units that can determine goals in the future.

Abstract

Abstrak This research aims to find out: 1) Is there an increase in children's kinesthetic intelligence before using the method of playing jump rope at school MIS AL-IKHLAS SIDODADI RAMUNIA, 2) How is the method of playing jumping rope at school MIS AL-IKHLAS SIDODADI RAMUNIA implemented, 3) Is there an increase kinesthetic intelligence after using the jumping rope playing method at the MIS AL-IKHLAS SIDODADI RAMUNIA school, 4) How do students respond when using the jumping rope playing method in developing kinesthetic intelligence at the MIS AL-IKHLAS SIDODADI RAMUNIA school. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects of children aged 9-10 years consisting of 29 children. The object of this research is to increase children's creative movement abilities. The data collection technique is through observation in the form of a checklist and documentation in the form of photos. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results obtained during the research were as follows: 1) Before using the Jump Rope Game at the MIS AL-IKHLAS SIDODADI RAMUNIA school, in the pre-cycle 13 children received the BB criteria, 9 children received the MB criteria and 7 children received the BSH criteria. There are no children yet who have reached the score of 16, so the child's completion is still 0%. 2) Carrying out the jump rope game in cycle I, the child must jump over the rope without being hit by the rope that has been agreed upon before the game starts, in cycle II the child must reach the number of rope jumps that have been agreed upon by the researcher. 3) There was an increase after using the jumping rope playing method with a value of 10 points from an average value of 6, increasing to an average value of 16, this shows that the research in cycle I and cycle II has achieved an increase in classical success. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Self-Regulated Learning and critical thinking on digital literacy and numeracy literacy of elementary school students. The subjects of the study were 100 6th grade students from five schools in Bandung Kulon District. The canonical correlation method was used with instruments in the form of questionnaires for Self-Regulated Learning and digital literacy, as well as tests for critical thinking skills and numeracy literacy. Assumption tests include normality, linearity, non-multicollinearity, and homogeneity of variance-covariance. The results show a canonical correlation significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), which indicates a significant relationship between the variables. The first and second canonical functions are significant with p values of 0.000 and 0.02, respectively. The canonical coefficient and loading indicate that critical thinking has a dominant influence in improving numeracy literacy, while Self-Regulated Learning plays an important role in strengthening digital and numeracy literacy. This study confirms the importance of Self-Regulated Learning and critical thinking in improving student literacy and provides insight into efforts to improve literacy in the digital era

Abstract

This journal proposes innovative strategies to enhance the quality of learning in the digital era, focusing on learning models such as blended learning, distant learning, and mobile learning. Specifically, attention is directed towards digital-era learning design and teacher understanding. An integrative approach that combines key elements from these three learning models is suggested to create holistic and sustainable learning experiences. Through in-depth analysis of the challenges and opportunities in adopting digital learning approaches, this journal offers a comprehensive framework to guide the implementation of these innovative strategies. Emphasis is placed on empowering teachers through relevant training and appropriate technological support to optimize the use of digital tools and resources in the learning context. Practical implications and theoretical contributions of this approach are also discussed, aiming to enhance learning effectiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Sebagai hasil wawancara awal dengan wali kelas V SDN 198/I Pasar Baru, diketahui pembelajaran berbasis STEAM sudah dikelola secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana manajemen pembelajaran STEAM pada transformasi sekolah penggerak SDN 198/I Pasar Baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 198/I Pasar Baru pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Subjek penelitian adalah Guru wali kelas. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran STEAM di SDN 198/I Pasar Baru sangat berpengaruh dalam mendukung Transformasi sekolah penggerak. Terdapat 5 tahapan yaitu: (1) Perencanaan, dimulai dengan guru menetapkan tujuan pembelajaran yang jelas, merancang rencana pembelajaran berbasis STEAM, menggunakan pendekatan PJBL, mengintegrasikan teknologi, mendorong kolaborasi, menetapkan penilaian yang komprehensif, mempertimbangkan aspek pendukung STEAM. (2) Pelaksanaan, guru menggabungkan elemen STEAM dengan cara membuat sebuah proyek seperti proyek rantai makanan, pembuatan pupuk, pembuatan hiasan dinding, dan karya lainnya yang menggabungkan unsur Sains,Teknologi, Engineering, Art dan Matematika. (3) Pengorganisasian, dalam konteks pengorganisasian guru mengelola pengorganisasian tim kolaboratif, ruang dan fasilitas, hubungan dengan pihak eksternal. (4) Evaluasi, guru melakukan penilaian dan evaluasi pada setiap langkah kegiatan seperti evaluasi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar. (5) Pengawasan, guru membagi menjadi 2 bentuk pengawasan yaitu pengawasan secara langsung dan tidak langsung. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajeman pembelajaran yang baik terkhususnya pembelajaran STEAM dapat memberikan dukungan yang besar terhadap transformasi sekolah penggerak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prototipe media Wayang Kartun berbasis kearifan lokal suku Mbojo untuk siswa kelas VI SDN Inpres Rato, mendeskripsikan validasi dan kepraktisan media Wayang Kartun berbasis kearifan lokal suku Mbojo untuk siswa kelas VI SDN Inpres Rato. Kebaharuan penelitian ini yakni lebih spesifik memperkenalkan kearifan lokal suku Mbojo yaitu dalam bentuk cerita rakyat Puteri La Hila dengan menggunakan media wayang kartun. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) menurut Borg And Gall dengan analisis validasi media Aiken’ V. Hasil penelitian yaitu validator materi mendapatkan nilai 0,8 dan validator media 0,9 menunjukkan media sangat valid. Penerapan skala kecil mendapatkan persentase kepraktisan 94,2%, penilaian observer pada uji penerapan 88,75%, dan hasil respons kepraktisan skala besar 91,3%. Kriteria penilaian media Wayang Kartun Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Suku Mbojo dari hasil uji penerapan menunjukkan bahwa media sangat praktis dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' learning motivation in Mathematics subjects with STEM learning using Understanding by Design (UbD) design. This research is a collaborative classroom action research with a qualitative descriptive approach consisting of 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The data source in this study is fifth grade students of SD Negeri Lamper Lor Semarang City, totaling 25 students in the 2024/2025 school year. Data collection techniques using observation. The results of this class action research showed that there was an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Cycle 1 obtained a result of 85% in the good category, while cycle 2 obtained a result of 98% in the very good category. Thus, STEM learning can increase the learning motivation of students in the fifth grade of SD Negeri Lamper Lor Semarang City.

Abstract

Increasing administrative burdens often hinder teachers' teaching effectiveness, while technological developments and social changes also influence student characteristics. This research aims to analyze how teachers balance their professional commitments in dealing with administrative demands and adapt teaching methods according to changes in student character in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, examining various relevant academic sources. The research results show that administrative burden has the potential to reduce teacher focus in the learning process. However, strategies such as the use of technology, effective time management, and institutional support can help teachers maintain their professionalism. These findings provide insight for policy makers and educational institutions in establishing policies that support a balance between administrative and teaching tasks in order to maintain the quality of education.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa sejak dini. Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar memiliki peran strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter yang sesuai dengan falsafah bangsa Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar melalui kajian literatur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber akademik yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dapat dikembangkan melalui pendekatan kontekstual, pembelajaran berbasis nilai, serta keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam kegiatan yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Selain itu, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar antara lain kurangnya kesiapan guru, keterbatasan media pembelajaran, serta kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan sosial siswa. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini menegaskan bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berintegritas, berempati, dan bertanggung jawab. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih efektif dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar.a. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini menegaskan bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berintegritas, berempati, dan bertanggung jawab. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih efektif dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar.
