Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the principal’s managerial role in developing organizational culture at SD Negeri 01 Mulyoharjo. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research indicate that the principle’s managerial role is very important in developing organizational culture at SD Negeri 01 Mulyoharjo. While the indicators of the principal’s managerial role include: developing school organizations based on its needs, creating a conducive school culture for students, managing school facilities and infrastructure, and utilizing advances in information technology as an improvement in learning. The research concludes that the principal's managerial role has an important role in the success of developing organizational culture at SD Negeri 01 Mulyoharjo. This can be seen in the aspect of developing school organizations based on its needs, including the culture of reading short letters of the Qur'an and Asmaul Husna before learning and the culture of Friday Market, Friday Healthy, Friday Blessed, and also Friday Cheerful. In the aspect of creating a conducive school culture for students, it is implemented by getting used to smiling and greeting, respecting each other, and appreciating each other among school residents. In the aspect of managing school facilities and infrastructure, it is implemented by facilitating student habituation activities. Then, in the aspect of utilizing advances in information technology as an improvement in learning, it is implemented by utilizing technology in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-concept, self-confidence, and creativity among upper-grade students in inclusive elementary schools in the Gondomanan district. The background of this research is driven by Indonesia's low ranking in the Global Innovation Index (GII) in 2023 and the low creativity scores in the 2022 Program for International Student Assessment (PISA). The method used is descriptive quantitative ex post facto with a correlational approach, where data was collected through questionnaires distributed to students. The analysis results show a moderate positive relationship between self-concept and creativity (r = 0.454; p < 0.01) as well as between self-confidence and creativity (r = 0.391; p < 0.01). The R-value analysis for the relationship between self-concept and self-confidence with creativity indicates a value of 0.553, signifying a moderate level of association. Furthermore, partial correlation analysis reveals that the relationship between self-concept and creativity remains significant (r = 0.424; p < 0.01) even when controlling for self-confidence. Similarly, self-confidence also shows a significant positive relationship with creativity (r = 0.355; p < 0.01). The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of both self-concept and self-confidence in influencing students' creativity in an inclusive education setting. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective educational strategies to enhance students' creativity.

Abstract

Rencana Kerja Sekolah (RKS), Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Sekolah (RKAS) merupakan dokumen strategis yang menjadi panduan utama dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program pendidikan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi proses penyusunan RKS dan RKAS, analisis implementasinya, serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus di beberapa sekolah di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi RKS dan RKAS yang efektif memerlukan keterlibatan seluruh pemangku kepentingan, perencanaan yang berbasis data, dan pengawasan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Every human being needs a safe, peaceful and peaceful life. This will be possible if everyone is able to look after each other. Maintaining a harmonious relationship with God, maintaining a harmonious relationship with fellow humans and a harmonious relationship with the natural environment is important to do as early as possible, considering the negative impact of technological developments that cannot be avoided. Tri Hita Karana is a Balinese Hindu philosophy that includes three main relationships: the harmonious relationship between humans and God (Parahyangan), the harmonious relationship between humans and fellow humans (Pawongan), and the harmonious relationship between humans and the environment (Palemahan). This philosophy is an important foundation in the life of the Balinese people and has been adopted in various aspects of life, including in the field of education. This research aims to explore the quality of student character education through the application of Tri Hita Karana in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. Observations were carried out to directly observe how activities related to Tri Hita Karana were carried out in the school environment. Interviews were conducted with students to gain an in-depth understanding of their perceptions and experiences regarding the implementation of Tri Hita Karana values. Documentation is used to review various school records, such as school work programs, activity agendas, and learning materials related to student character education

Abstract

Problem-based learning (PBL) helps students learn to think critically and assists them in solving problems in real-world situations. The purpose of this research is to determine the strategy of using problem-based learning (PBL) to build students' critical thinking skills at SDI Mambaul Ulum. This research method was conducted with a qualitative approach and designed as a case study, observing the classroom learning process that implements the problem-based learning (PBL) method, and data were collected through observations and interviews with various students and educators at the school. Research results show that students' critical thinking skills can be improved through problem-based learning. (PBL). This is evidenced by students becoming more active in discussions, identifying problems, seeking solutions, and providing logical reasons to resolve those issues. This research shows that problem-based teaching strategies help students become more creative, analytical, and evaluative. Teachers who are skilled in using this approach can provide the right challenges to their students to encourage their critical thinking. Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method can be a great alternative to enhance the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of school principals' power and politics in educational management at SMP Negeri 7 Pemalang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore in depth the dynamics of power and politics that exist in school principal policies which influence the learning process, relationships between employees, and decision making in schools. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation involving school principals, teachers, administrative staff and other related parties. The research results show that school principals have a strong influence in determining policies, both in academic and non-academic aspects. However, the power they have often interacts with internal politics involving various groups in schools, which affects the effectiveness of implementing these policies. Internal conflicts that arise are often related to personal and group interests, which sometimes affect the quality of work and professional relationships at school. These findings provide an important picture of how politics and power within schools can influence educational performance and development at the junior high school level, as well as the importance of wise leadership strategies in facing these challenges.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop learning media P3 (Smart Round Board) with Surprise Box on the material "Plants that are the Source of Life on Earth" which is suitable for use in the learning process in class IV. This research was conducted in class IV of SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia. This development research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. However, this research only reached the development stage. The P3 media (Smart Round Board) with Surprise Box that has been developed has been validated by several experts, namely material experts, media experts and learning experts (teacher response). Based on the validation results from the material expert validator, the score was 92. From the media expert validation results, the score was 88 and from the learning expert validation results, the score was 83. So from the assessment it can be said that the P3 learning media (Smart Round Board) with Surprise Box is The material "Plants that are the Source of Life on Earth" developed is valid and very suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This research identified opportunities to enhance the integration of Qur'anic literacy in the General Physics curriculum at Adzkia University.. The purpose of the research is to analyze the curriculum and develop a Learning Management System (LMS) that integrates Qur'anic literacy. The methodology used was qualitative with a case study approach, including analysis of curriculum documents, interviews with lecturers and students, and surveys to collect data on integration needs. The results showed that currently the integration of Qur'anic literacy in physics materials is minimal, although there is interest from lecturers and students to include religious values. The survey also indicated that an integrated LMS could improve student engagement and understanding. The proposed LMS development includes modules that link physics materials with Qur'anic references, as well as interactive features. The findings recommend curriculum revision to accommodate the integration of Qur'anic literacy and the use of an LMS to improve learning effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of Magic Mirror media in improving the reading skills of dyslexic students in North Lampung elementary schools. This media is designed to help students recognize letters that are often reversed, such as “b” and “d”, “p” and “q”, and “m” and “w”. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach with data from observations and interviews in three elementary schools: SDN 3 Sindang Sari, SDN Gunung Raja, and SDN Labuhan Ratu Besar. The results showed an average increase in students' reading ability of 34.40% after the use of Magic Mirror. A total of 80% of students experienced significant improvement, while the other 20% showed very significant improvement. There were no students who experienced low improvement. Magic Mirror proved to be effective in helping dyslexic students overcome reading difficulties, so it is expected to support their smooth education and social interaction. This study recommends the wider application of Magic Mirror in primary schools to assist dyslexic students' learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan pedagogik guru terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif bersama dengan studi kepustakaan. Peneliti akan menggunakan kepustakaan yang relevan untuk mengumpulkan informasi sebanyak mungkin dalam teori pencarian mereka. Sumber kepustakaan dapat berasal dari buku, jurnal, majalah, hasil penelitian, dan sumber lain yang relevan. Setelah membaca teks, analisis ini menafsirkan subjek penelitian. Pertama, penelitian menemukan bahwa guru yang bekerja pada bidang pendidikan dasar secara keseluruhan memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi sosial, atau kompetensi kepribadian yang baik. Kedua, penelitian menemukan bahwa cara guru menggunakan media pembelajaran dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa dalam bidang keterampilan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa prestasi siswa akan lebih baik jika profesionalisme guru ditingkatkan. Menurut penelitian, guru harus belajar bagaimana memotivasi siswa secara positif dan benar dan mengarahkan motivasi tersebut agar diterima dengan baik oleh siswa sehingga meningkatkan prestasi belajar mereka.
