Abstract

The Baduy people are known as one of the indigenous groups in Indonesia that uphold their traditions and culture, including in the arts. The arts of the Baduy people are not only a means of aesthetic expression, but also reflect philosophical, spiritual values, and local wisdom that are passed down from generation to generation. This article aims to examine various forms of traditional arts of the Baduy people, such as weaving, weaving, and ritual arts, and the meanings contained therein. In the context of modernization and globalization, Baduy arts face major challenges, including in terms of preservation and commercialization. Through a qualitative approach with literature study methods and field observations, this study found that the arts of the Baduy people not only function as a cultural identity, but also as a medium to maintain harmonious relations between humans, nature, and the Creator. In addition, the results of the study show that the Baduy people continue to strive to maintain the authenticity of their arts despite facing changing times. This article recommends strengthening cultural preservation strategies through local education and the development of sustainable culture-based tourism. Thus, the traditional arts of the Baduy people can continue to live and develop, while providing inspiration for modern society.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of supervisors in implementing academic supervision to improve the pedagogic competence of Pembina Batu Ampar State Kindergarten teachers. The focus of this research is on the role of supervisors in increasing teacher competency through academic supervision and the quality of education. The method used is a qualitative approach, data collection is carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by the Miles and Hubernes Model which consists of data condetation, data display, and conclusion drawing verification. The research results show that the role of supervisors in academic supervision is important to improve teachers' pedagogical competence, because supervisors can act as partners, innovators, consultants, and motivators. This role is carried out to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at the Pembina Batu Ampar Kindergarten.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the numeracy abilities of grade 5 students and to determine the factors of learning difficulties faced by students as well as solutions that can be used to improve numeracy. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study design. The location of this research is SD Negeri Seroja with the subjects being all students in Class 5. The data collection technique in this research was carried out by observation and interviews. The instruments used were questionnaires and interview guidelines. The results of this research show that 7% of grade 5 students at SD Negeri Seroja have a high level of numeracy ability, 30% have a sufficient level of numeracy ability, 48% have a low level of numeracy ability, and 15% have a very low level of numeracy ability. The factors that cause students' learning difficulties are categorized into two, 1) Internal factors consisting of pessimism and fear of mathematics, laziness in students, and low levels of intelligence, 2) External factors consisting of lack of attention from parents and a poor classroom environment. not inclusive. Solutions that can be used are the use of learning media, adjustments to students' learning styles and additional hours outside of class hours.

Abstract

This research uses Halal value chain analysis. The Halal value chain analysis method used in this research focuses on internal Halal restaurants which refers to Porter's Value Chain theory. Halal Value Chain analysis is divided into primary activities and secondary activities. This research uses a literature study method because the main aim of this research is to investigate and analyze the Value Chain in Halal Restaurants in Establishing a Halal Value Chain. The data used was taken from journals, news, and so on related to this research. Halal Value Chain, which refers to Porter's Value Chain theory, is considered to be able to analyze halal quality in halal restaurants because it focuses on restaurant internals, apart from increasing food safety for Muslim consumers. Restaurant owner awareness is very important for the protection of halal food. The regulatory framework needs to be improved to better support the halal industry.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the role of student organizations in building leadership character and improving soft skills. By using a qualitative approach method. The main source was obtained from in-depth interviews with students at Trunojoyo University, Madura, where 10 respondents were selected based on certain criteria that were relevant to the research objectives. The research results show that student organizations have a significant positive impact on developing leadership character and improving soft skills among students. Through active involvement in organizations, students can hone a variety of skills, including communication, collaboration, time management, and problem solving.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Kalongan 02 State Elementary School using education report card data to plan education financing. The main focus of the research is whether the school has succeeded in using education report card data in planning financing at the Kalongan 02 State Elementary School. This research uses qualitative methods, meaning the researcher conducted interviews, directly observed activities at the school, and collected various documents. The results show that although schools have been able to find problems from student learning outcomes reports, in planning financing management, schools have not fully used this data. For example, even though data shows that students are still weak in literacy and numeracy skills, and school facilities do not fully facilitate inclusive students, the budget created is not fully aimed at overcoming these problems. From the results of this research, researchers recommend that schools be more careful in planning financing, analyze data in more depth, and involve all interested parties. This research emphasizes the importance of using data in managing schools and provides suggestions for improving the quality of education by managing school fees better.

Abstract

Pentingnya komunikasi merupakan elemen fundamental dalam peran keberlangsungan hidup individu dengan masyarakat. Komunikasi yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat untuk menyampaikan informasi, untuk menyelesaikan konflik dan mencapai tujuan sebuah organisasi. Etika dalam komunikasi organisasi mencakup prinsip-prinsip yaitu integritas, kejujuran,tanggung jawab, dan penghormatan antara sesama anggota atau tim dalam sebuah organisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MIN 11 Kota Medan dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan Integritas Dan Etika Komunikasi Organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dari sumber-sumber relevan yang menyatakan bahwa dengan menerapkan etika yang baik akan berkaitan dengan prinsip-prinsip integritas, sehingga dalam komunikasi organisasi dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan positif, dan semua anggota organisasi dapat berkontribusi untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi.

Abstract

Investasi dalam pendidikan memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan dengan investasi di bidang lain. Ada beberapa alasan yang dapat mendukung gagasan ini, salah satunya adalah bahwa pendidikan dapat dianggap sebagai investasi yang memiliki hubungan langsung dengan ekonomi. Melakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan pendidikan akan menghasilkan tenaga kerja yang berkualitas untuk memenuhi lapangan kerja. Dengan keterampilan yang mereka miliki, tenaga kerja yang berkualitas tinggi dapat berkontribusi langsung pada peningkatan pendapatan negara. Melalui pendidikan, individu memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan nilai-nilai yang dibutuhkan untuk berhasil dalam kehidupan pribadi dan profesionalnya. Investasi di bidang pendidikan memberikan peluang untuk pertumbuhan dan kemajuan yang berkelanjutan. Pendidikan sering kali dianggap sebagai investasi jangka panjang yang mmeberikan keuntungan baik bagi individu maupun masyarakat.

Abstract

Environmental education plays an important role in shaping the character and knowledge of students. Amidst increasing environmental issues, environmental-based education is a significant factor influencing learning outcomes and individual behavior. This study explores the role of environmental-based education in building awareness and promoting sustainable health among early childhood. The method used is a qualitative approach with case study analysis in PAUD institutions that implement environmental-based curriculum. The results show that the integration of environmental education in the curriculum can improve children's knowledge, attitudes, and behavior towards the environment, contributing to the development of more effective educational programs for future environmental challenges. Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) The effect of work motivation on teacher performance, (2) The effect of professional competence on teacher performance, (3) The joint influence between work motivation and professional competence on performance.This research was conducted in public elementary schools in Kec.Tanggungharjo Kab.Grobogan. This research is a sample study, with the sampling technique used is simple random sampling with the intention that each subject has the same opportunity to be sampled. The population of this study were all teachers in public elementary schools in Kec.Tanggungharjo Kab.Grobogan. The subjects analyzed in this study were 52 teachers who were calculated based on the 50% sampling technique. Data collection techniques are using questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data validity test used is validity test and reliability test. Prerequisite test analysis includes normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test. Hypothesis testing uses simple regression test, which is analyzed by comparing the value of t table with t count and multiple regression test, which is analyzed by comparing F count with F table. The results of this study show: (1) There is a positive and significant effect of work motivation on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Tanggungharjo District as evidenced by the correlation coefficient rcount < rtable (0.533 < 0.279) with a coefficient of determination of 0.284 which means that 28.4% of this variable affects teacher performance and 71.6% is influenced by other variables. (2) There is a positive and significant effect of professional competence on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Tanggungharjo District as evidenced by the correlation coefficient rcount < rtable (0.638 < 0.279) with a coefficient of determination of 0.407 which means that 40.7% of this variable affects teacher performance and 59.3% is influenced by other variables. (3) There is a positive and significant influence between work motivation and professional competence together on teacher performance as evidenced by the correlation coefficient rcount < rtable (0.686 < 0.279) with an effective contribution of 47% which means 53% of teacher performance is influenced by other variables.
