Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

The government, through the Ministry of Education and Culture, has implemented the Independent Curriculum (KurMer) for kindergarten, elementary, middle school, vocational school and high school levels. One of the components needed for the successful implementation of an independent curriculum is the availability of competent educators. Improving student learning outcomes depends on the competence of educators, so a school principal must be able to facilitate increasing the competence of educators. In an effort to improve the quality of education, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology encourages education units and educators to learn and share with each other through learning communities supported by the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) and various other resources. Learning communities are considered as a strategy to increase competency for teaching staff. This research is to examine the role of the principal's assistance in improving the quality of learning through learning communities at SDN Kalongan 01. The author will use descriptive research methods through a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out using triangulation (observation, interviews and documentation).

This study aims to examine in depth the impact of teacher certification on improving teacher competence and welfare at UPTD SD Negeri 124394 Jl. Tongkol, Pematangsiantar City. A quantitative approach was used in this study. Eight out of 18 certified teachers were interviewed and completed a comprehensive questionnaire to gain a better understanding of their experiences and perceptions regarding certification. This quantitative approach also used observations, interviews and questionnaires to obtain data from certified teachers. The aim is to measure the effect of certification on the variables under study directly. The results showed that teacher certification at UPTD SD Negeri 124394 Jl. Tongkol, Pematangsiantar City significantly improved teachers' personality competence, social competence, pedagogical competence and professionalism competence. Certified teachers tend to have more in-depth knowledge of the curriculum, innovative learning strategies and methods, and the ability to manage the classroom. Certification also improves teachers' welfare financially through professional allowances and personal income. This study is interesting because it found no significant challenges faced by teachers after obtaining certification. This suggests that the certification program is effective and can meet teachers' professional development needs.

Rapor Pendidikan merupakan instrumen penting untuk menilai kinerja dan mutu pendidikan di berbagai jenjang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pemanfaatan Rapor Pendidikan dapat membantu pemangku kepentingan, seperti kepala sekolah, guru, dan pemerintah, dalam mengevaluasi dan merencanakan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan menelaah literatur yang relevan serta studi kasus implementasi Rapor Pendidikan di beberapa daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rapor Pendidikan mampu memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang capaian siswa, mutu sekolah, serta efektivitas kebijakan pendidikan. Namun, tantangan seperti rendahnya pemahaman pengguna dan keterbatasan data perlu diatasi untuk optimalisasi penggunaan Rapor Pendidikan.

This research aims to describe the effect of implementing the collaborative learning model on students' learning motivation in grade 3 Mathematics at SDN 095550 Jl.Asahan. Collaborative learning emphasizes cooperation between students to solve problems, share knowledge, and help each other in achieving learning goals. Collaborative learning can increase student motivation, engagement and overall learning outcomes. The results of the research show that the collaborative learning model has a positive and significant effect on increasing student motivation in grade 3 Mathematics at SDN 095550 Jl. Asahan. The results of the research can be concluded that the application of the collaborative learning model can be used by students in elementary school mathematics learning to increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

This research aims to find out and explain how teacher certification analyzes teacher performance at SD N. 091254 Batu Onom. The population taken in this research were 5 certified teachers and the sample was the entire population. The analytical method used in this research is a quantitative approach. By reviewing and analyzing data objectively according to data found in the field. Then the data collected from the research results is described in the form of words. Data collection techniques through observation. Interviews, questionnaires, documentation. The results of the research show (1) that teacher certification has a positive effect on teacher performance, (2) Teacher performance at SD N. 091254 Batu Onom can be said to be effective.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin terkikisnya nilai-nilai budaya lokal di kalangan generasi muda akibat pengaruh globalisasi. Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di tingkat sekolah dasar menjadi salah satu upaya strategis untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal pada pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 138 Basokeng, Kabupaten Bulukumba. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru, siswa, dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memainkan peran penting dalam menyusun materi ajar berbasis budaya lokal, menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang relevan dengan konteks budaya, serta menjadi teladan dalam mengamalkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan sumber belajar berbasis budaya lokal, minimnya pelatihan guru, dan kurangnya dukungan infrastruktur sekolah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelibatan komunitas lokal, pengembangan kurikulum yang adaptif terhadap budaya lokal, serta pelatihan intensif bagi guru untuk meningkatkan efektivitas integrasi budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran IPS

This study aims to determine the level of science process skills of students at Mekar Arum Junior High School. The research method used is quantitative research using experimental methods with purposive sampling techniques. In the learning process, using the discovery learning model by conducting experiments through simple food substance tests. It was found that overall the indicators of science process skills of students in class VIII.A SMP Mekar Arum had an average of 72.85% with a good category, where there were 50% students with low KPS categories or as many as 14 students, 28.60% students with moderate KPS categories or as many as 9 students, and 21.40% students with high KPS categories. This shows that the average KPS of students in class VIII.A is good and should be more frequently trained and used in learning activities, so that students have all the abilities needed to obtain, develop, and apply science concepts, principles, laws or theories.

This study aims to determine the critical and creative thinking skills of students as future teachers in designing integrated science learning using the Robin Fogarty model. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. This research was conducted at UIN Sunan Kalijaga from October to November 2024. The subjects of the study were lecturers and students. Data were collected from two main sources, namely primary data and secondary data. The data for this study were obtained in three ways, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis through data collection, data presentation, data conclusion/verification, and condensation process. The data that has been analyzed will be tested for validity using data triangulation. This study shows that students already have quite good critical thinking skills, but their creative thinking skills still need to be improved. Although students can analyze information, draw conclusions, and present logical arguments, they still have difficulty producing original and diverse ideas. Some of the obstacles students face include difficulty in determining the theme of integrated learning, lack of in-depth understanding of concepts, and lack of experience in designing learning. The results of this study highlight the importance of providing more intensive training to students in developing creative thinking skills and integrated learning design skills.

This study aims to analyze the role of motivation provided by the principal in improving teacher performance and student learning achievement at SD Negeri 01 Dororejo. The principal plays a crucial role as a leader in creating a conducive school environment for the teaching and learning process. Through an effective motivational approach, the principal can influence the quality of teacher performance, which ultimately has a positive impact on students academic achievements. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation at the specific school. The findings indicate that effective motivation from the principal, whether through rewards, good interpersonal communication, or professional support, significantly enhances teacher performance. This improvement contributes significantly to the increase in students learning achievement. The conclusion of this study underscores that the motivation provided by the principal is a key factor in fostering a successful, progressive, and results-oriented educational ecosystem.

The background of the research is the low cognitive learning outcomes of students in elementary school in social studies learning caused by teachers who still dominantly use conventional models. Therefore, this research was conducted in order to provide additional references regarding teaching that is more Student Centered Leaning (SCL) to teachers by comparing and describing the effect of the application of the model. The research used a qualitative approach with a library method or literature study of research journals indexed by SINTA 1-4 in the last 5 years (2019-2023). Data were collected through Google Scholar and DOAJ and then analyzed using stages according to Miles & Huberman. The results of the research when the comparison was carried out showed that this model was dominantly used in 2022 on the island of Java with the object of grade 5 elementary school. The dominant method used is PTK which aims to improve learning outcomes. The effect is to improve academic learning outcomes and results at the LOTS and HOTS levels according to Bloom's Revised Taxonomy. The LOTS level affects the competence of knowledge, understanding and mastery of concepts, then at the HOTS level affects the ability to solve problems, think critically and creatively of students. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the SCL model is effective to be applied to social studies learning in elementary school.
