Abstract

This research aims to formulate a discovery learning model with online learning mode. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with participants consisting of 24 students and 2 teachers taken based on purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires and unstructured interviews which were processed using triangulation techniques. The results of this study show that: 1) At the stimulation stage, teachers provide stimulation to students through zoom meetings or google meet synchronously; 2) At the problem identification stage, the teacher does it synchronously and asynchronously; 3) At the data collection stage, students asynchronously collect data using observation tables that have been provided or designed by students, the teacher can also facilitate it with google form; 4) At the data processing stage, the teacher invites students to communicate synchronously through zoom meetings or google meet; 5) At the proof stage, teachers and students also communicate synchronously through zoom meetings or google meet. This synchronous communication aims to verify the data that students find, 6) At the conclusion stage it is also done synchronously.

Abstract

Disiplin belajar adalah bentuk ketaatan, kesadaran dan kemauan siswa untuk mentaati peraturan tertulis dan tidak tertulis yang berlaku, dengan tujuannya adalah untuk menimbulkan perubahan tingkah laku, sikap, kebiasaan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif sehingga suasana belajar yang menjadi lebih efektif serta tujuan pembelajaran tercapai. Dalam penelitian ini, disiplin belajar dibagi menjadi empat sub indikator, yaitu disiplin belajar, disiplin mengatur waktu, disiplin menyelesaikan tugas, dan disiplin menegakkan tata tertib sekolah. Terciptanya suasana belajar yang kondusif dan efisien sangat dipengaruhi oleh sikap disiplin belajar yang diterapkan siswa dalam kesehariannya, sehingga mampu menunjang hasil belajar menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar PPKn pada siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Lape. Menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, kemudian mengambil sampel dari siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Lape. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling serta teknik dokumentasi dan kuesioner digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan datanya. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis, dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn yaitu sebesar 0,660 > 0,266. Oleh karena itu dari hasil tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan antara disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran PPKn siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Lape tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan proses sains terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group design yang melibatkan 60 siswa kelas V siswa sekolah dasar yang terbagi kedalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen akan diberikan perlakuan dengan pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan proses sains sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Masing-masing kelompok akan diberikan pretest sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan posttest setelah perlakuan untuk melihat perbadingannya. Lembar tes yang diberikan memuat indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasilnya mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan proses sains berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan keterampilan proses sains siswa dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional yang dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya tiga aspek, yaitu kemampuan merumuskan pertanyaan, kemampuan merencanakan strategi, dan kemampuan mengevaluasi keputusan. Siswa yang terampil dalam keterampilan proses sains akan lebih mudah untuk memilah dan menilai informasi, serta membuat keputusan yang berdasarkan pada bukti yang valid dan logika yang benar.

Abstract

The transition of learning from the Covid-19 pandemic to the current new normal phase provides many changes that occur and must be made. In the educational aspect, it is necessary to re-develop the ability of students, namely literacy. In addition, it is necessary to develop a sense of self-efficacy as future teachers as well as learning that applies the problems of everyday life, especially Bentian Dayak culture (ethnomathematics) with a problem-based learning model. So this study aims to find out 1) what is the Bentian Dayak ethnomathematics-based problem-based learning model is effective in terms of the mathematical literacy skills of PGSD students and 2) what is the Bentian Dayak ethnomathematics-based problem-based learning model is effective in terms of the self-efficacy of PGSD students. The research was conducted experimentally using 1) One-Shot Case Study; and 2) One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Based on the results of the hypothesis test conducted, it shows that; 1) The learning model with ethnomathematics-based problem-based learning is not effective in terms of the mathematical literacy skills of PGSD students; 2) The learning model with ethnomathematics-based problem based learning is effective in terms of the self-efficacy of PGSD students

Abstract

Observations in class I at SDN Gadingmangu I found obstacles related to initial writing skills. It can be seen that most of the students in class I have low writing ability. Of the 46 students, 17 students had good writing skills. About 24 children are said to take a long time to write and they still have misspelled and wrong letters. 5 students whose writing is difficult to read. The use of the PBL learning model can help learning become more effective. The material that will be conveyed to students becomes easier to convey. The PBL learning model can make students think more critically with the problems given by the teacher. This classroom action research was carried out using data from observations, interviews, and performance tests. The average value of students' initial writing skills before the action or pre-cycle is 68.78. The results of the assessment in cycle I showed that out of 46 students, 19 students had fulfilled the criteria for successful action. Meanwhile, 27 of them have not reached the criteria for successful action. The average value of beginning writing abilities increased by 71.41 points during the first cycle. The percentage of individuals who met the success criterion was 36.95% in the pre-cycle and 38.150% in the first cycle, a rise of 4.35 percentage points. The results of the assessment in cycle II showed that out of 46 students, 41 students had met the criteria for successful action and as many as 5 students had not met the criteria for successful action. The average value of initial writing skills in cycle I was 71.41 with a percentage of achieving a success criterion of 41.30%, an increase of 47.83% in cycle II.

Abstract

This research is a literature study that aims to describe the role of social interaction in the emotional development of elementary school children. Emotions are an important component of a child's life and can have a significant effect on their well-being. Social interactions, including with peers, family, and teachers, have great potential in shaping the emotional development of primary school children. This research involves an analysis of various literature sources related to the topic. The results of the analysis showed that social interaction plays a crucial role in the emotional development of elementary school children. Through social interaction, elementary school children learn to recognize, express, and manage their emotions. In the context of primary school children's emotional development, social interaction can affect their social adjustment, psychological well-being, and adaptability in a variety of situations. Therefore, a deep understanding of the role of social interaction in the emotional development of primary school children is essential in designing effective educational programs. This research provides better insight into the importance of social interaction in the emotional development of primary school children. The implications of this research can be used as a foundation for the development of educational approaches that focus on developing social skills, emotional regulation, and emotional well-being of primary school children.

Abstract

The use of instructional media which is limited to the SBdP subject of traditional dance makes students at SDN 015 Loa Kulu feel less interested and experience learning difficulties. As many as 100% of students have never used media-based learning augmented reality. Therefore, it is necessary to develop media-based learning augmented reality. This study aims to determine the product in the form of media-based learning augmented reality in SBdP learning traditional dance material for class V SDN 015 Loa Kulu has met the valid, practical, and effective criteria.The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The research instrument is in the form of product validation, item questions posttest and response questionnaires which were validated by media experts, material experts and grade V teachers. The selection of respondents was carried out using the method purposive sampling and involved 10 students of class V as the research sample. Data analysis was performed using Aiken's V and descriptive statistics.The results showed that the product met the very valid criteria with a validation percentage of material experts of 97.5%, media experts of 100%, and class V teacher validation of 100%. The results of the student response questionnaire have fulfilled the very practical criteria with an average percentage of 98.88% and an average percentage value posttest 93% which met the very effective criteria. Thus, learning media based augmented reality can be used in the learning process, because it meets valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to see and determine the effect of the PAIKEM learning model using jarimatics on the numeracy ability of students in grade I SD Negeri 03 Tanjung Batu. This research is a quantitative research using experimental methods with the type of Quasi Experimental Design. The variables of this study consist of independent variables, namely the PAIKEM learning model using mathematics (X) and dependent variables, namely students' numeracy ability (Y). The study population was all students of grades I - VI SD Negeri 03 Tanjung Batu which amounted to 376 students and the number of samples was 41 students. Data collection techniques using tests and documentation. Instruments to measure counting ability using pretest and posttest in the form of fill-in-the-blank questions. The experimental class group obtained an average pretest score of 71, and posttest of 88.88 and the control class obtained an average pretest score of 68.14 and posttest of 75.24. The results of the t test with Sig 0.000 < 0.05 and the result of t count 4.038 > t table 2.023, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the PAIKEM learning model using jarimatics on the numeracy ability of students in grade I SD Negeri 03 Tanjung Batu.

Abstract

Each school has its own unique school culture. This study aims to analyze culture and school management in realizing religious culture. The research design uses qualitative research. The location chosen as the research location is SMPN 1 Batukliang. The method chosen as the data collection technique is observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The main informants in this study were madrasa heads, teachers, and administration. Checking the validity of the data used is a member check then combined with triangulation, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the religious culture that is applied is the existence of social harmony which can be seen from the 5S attitude, strengthening the internalization of religious rituals in schools, and developing religious symbols through commemoration of Islamic holidays). School management is carried out following the management function itself, starting from planning (internal and external assessments and formulating the vision and mission of the school), organizing (job descriptions or placement of existing resources), directing (implementation of all plans), and evaluation (deliberations conducted on a scheduled or incidental basis).

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the importance of teaching materials as a support for the teaching and learning process, namely by using digital poster media. Digital poster media, namely electronic poster teaching materials with graphic designs that can communicate visual messages or information in a form that is not easily damaged and used by students during the learning process. This digital poster media can help teachers to improve their teaching skills through the use of interesting media by utilizing current technological developments, so that learning becomes more interactive, creative and fun for students. The purpose of this study was to produce digital learning media in the form of posters and to find out the feasibility of digital poster-based learning media in the learning process, which was seen from student responses, implementation, and effectiveness of the digital poster media. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE model. The product developed is in the form of digital poster learning media on social studies material for class VI theme 9. Data collection techniques use interview sheets for class VI teachers, material and media expert validation for UMSIDA lecturers, effectiveness sheets for class VI teachers, digital poster media implementation sheets, sheets test of learning outcomes after using digital poster media, and questionnaires on student responses to digital poster media. The validation results of media experts are 84%, material experts are 94%. The results of student responses to digital poster media were very feasible with a score. The results of implementing the benefits of digital poster media obtained results of 88% in the feasible category. The results of the effectiveness data obtained results of 88% in the category of very effective and suitable for use in learning. As well as student learning outcomes increased with the acquisition of an average score of 92 above the KKM score.
