Abstract

This study addresses the problem of low critical thinking skills and passive student involvement in history learning, which is still dominated by teacher-centered instruction. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with Canva-based mind mapping techniques, explore students' critical thinking skills based on Facione's six indicators, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors during implementation. This research utilized a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative design. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving a history teacher and eleventh-grade students at SMK Bastren Nurussalam selected via purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification), with source and technique triangulation for data validity. The results indicated that the PjBL model with Canva-based mind mapping was executed systematically through all syntax stages, fostering an active and student-centered learning environment. The implementation facilitated the emergence of all six critical thinking indicators (interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation) during group discussions, digital project creation, and presentations. Supporting factors, such as teacher readiness, technological infrastructure, and student enthusiasm, predominated over minor obstacles like internet instability and varying digital skills, which were effectively mitigated by teacher guidance. In conclusion, the PjBL model combined with Canva-based mind mapping is an effective strategy to enhance student engagement and critical thinking skills in history education.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has encouraged the government to transform public services into digital-based systems. One such innovation is the National Digital Samsat Application (SIGNAL), which facilitates online Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) payments. This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of the SIGNAL application for two-wheeled motor vehicle taxpayers at Samsat Bengkulu City, using Riant Nugroho's policy implementation theory, which covers four aspects: socialization, implementation, supervision, and evaluation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews with five purposively selected informants, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of SIGNAL has not been fully optimal. Socialization has been carried out through direct approaches and social media (Instagram, TikTok) but has not reached all segments of society, particularly the elderly and those less familiar with digital platforms. The implementation stage—downloading the application, account registration, identity verification, and online tax payment—has generally run according to procedure, though obstacles such as network disruptions and forgotten passwords remain. Supervision at the local level is limited to monitoring user numbers, while technical oversight of the system is centralized at the national level. Evaluation indicates a positive user response in terms of convenience, speed, and time efficiency, although the number of SIGNAL users is still not proportional to the total number of registered taxpayers in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Soldiers of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) are members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) ranging from Private to General, representing the ranks of Private, Non-commissioned Officer, and Officer, who constitute a military unit. TNI soldiers are often faced with criminal cases, requiring them to face military justice. The Indonesian legal system has established a military-style mechanism for TNI soldiers who commit general crimes, based on the principle of equality before the law and legal certainty, based on the grounds for the charges against active TNI soldiers, namely Law Number 31 of 1997 concerning Military Justice and the Military Criminal Code (KUHPM). This is also based on the provisions of Article 65 paragraphs (1) and (2) of Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the TNI, which strengthens the legal position of military justice as an institution with special expertise in military law. This research uses a normative juridical method with a regulatory-legal approach, a contextual approach, and a literature review to examine the legal basis, legal impact, and regulations regarding the legal accountability mechanism for TNI soldiers in the military justice system, as well as the relevance of training to soldier discipline and professionalism. The findings indicate that in addition to criminal penalties, soldiers can also be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of Dishonorable Discharge (PTDH), which has consequences for social status and administrative rights.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply analyze the level of digital technology utilization in the learning process at secondary educational institutions, specifically at SMP Negeri 30 Seluma, and comprehensively identify the multidimensional factors that contribute to its suboptimal use. The research method applied in this academic study is a qualitative approach with critical literature review and descriptive empirical analysis of contemporary learning practices in Indonesia. The results of the literature review and data analysis consistently indicate that although digital technology hardware and software are widely available in educational institutions, their implementation in the classroom remains very limited to fulfilling formal administrative functions and basic mechanical presentation instruments, and does not fully support the direction of integrative pedagogical transformation. The main determinants include low digital and pedagogical competencies of educators, limited quality and quantity of information technology infrastructure, a less adaptive leadership paradigm, and the persistence of the conventional teacher-centered learning paradigm. This study confirms that optimizing digital technology in schools requires an integrated framework that includes strengthening pedagogical competencies, digital literacy based on the TPACK model, restructuring the school's operational curriculum, and the formulation of adaptive and sustainable regional education policies.

Abstract

The experience-based entertainment industry, such as indoor karting, faces challenges in understanding customer behavior through a data-driven approach. Pegasus Karting at Pluit Village Mall recorded 1,833 transactions from 892 unique customers during October-December 2025 via its Smart TAG cashier system, yet this data remained underutilized for strategic decision-making. This study aims to implement K-Means Clustering based on the RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) model to generate customer segments, analyze the characteristics of each segment, and formulate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy recommendations and operational efficiency improvements. The methodology encompasses RFM value computation, Min-Max normalization, optimal cluster determination using the Elbow Method and Silhouette Score, and K-Means execution with k-means++ initialization. Results indicate that k = 3 is the optimal configuration, yielding a Silhouette Score of 0.5453 (above the 0.5 threshold), thus rejecting H₀ and accepting H₁. Segmentation produced two main groups: Champions (655 customers, 73.4%) with an average Recency of 24.25 days, Frequency of 2.2 visits, and Monetary of IDR 333,829, contributing 76.7% of total revenue; and Lost Customers (237 customers, 26.6%) with an average Recency of 77.83 days, contributing 23.3% of revenue. These findings serve as the basis for loyalty retention strategies for the Champions segment and win-back campaigns for Lost Customers.
