Abstract

This research was motivated by the low initial reading skills of second-grade elementary school students. The problem was indicated by students' difficulties in recognizing letters, syllables, words, and simple sentences, while the learning media used by teachers had not optimally improved students' early reading abilities. This study aimed to develop Canva-assisted picture card media for Indonesian language learning on Chapter V, Being Friends in Diversity, and to examine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through validation sheets completed by material, media, and language experts, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretest-posttest assessments of beginning reading skills. The results showed that the developed media achieved an average validity score of 89.03%, categorized as very valid. The media was also considered very practical, with teacher and student response scores of 95.31% and 95.95%, respectively. Furthermore, the media proved to be effective in improving students' beginning reading skills, as indicated by N-Gain scores of 78.81% at SD N 07 Binuang Kampung Dalam and 72.99% at SD N 03 Binuang Kampung Dalam, both categorized as effective. Therefore, the Canva-assisted picture card media is feasible and effective for improving beginning reading skills in Grade II Indonesian language learning at elementary schools.

Abstract

Antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by bacteria and are classified as prescription medications; however, irrational and unwise use of antibiotics still frequently occurs, both in primary healthcare facilities and hospitals. The prevalence of antibiotic use in Indonesia is considered high, around 40-60%. The aim of this study is to evaluate the implementation of pre-authorization for the use of Aware group antibiotics within the antimicrobial resistance control program (PPRA) in inpatient patients at Dr. Sardjito General Hospital. This research uses an observational (non-experimental) retrospective design, taken from inpatient medical record data at Dr. Sardjito General Hospital during the period October 2022 to March 2023. The sample size in this study was 200 people, calculated using the Slovin formula. The data analysis method used in this study is comparative descriptive analysis. The results of this study show that from ages 0-18 years, the majority were aged 0-4 years at 66.5%. By gender, females accounted for 40.5% and males 59.5%. Antibiotic use before pre-authorization was 63% and after pre-authorization 37%. The category of antibiotic use according to the AwaRe group in this study consisted of the Access group 802, Watch 924, and Reserve 126. After the implementation of pre-authorization, antibiotic use changed to Access 386, Watch 568, and Reserve 125. In this study, the most used antibiotic according to the Defined Daily Dose (DDD) method was azithromycin at 73.3. Meanwhile, antibiotics with the lowest Defined Daily Dose (DDD)/100 patient days were erythromycin at 0.01 and co-amoxiclav at 0.02.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology constantly introduces new cybercrime modi operandi, challenging the boundaries and implementation of the legality principle in Indonesian criminal law. This study aims to map the characteristics of rising cybercrime trends and critically analyze the limitations of the legality principle in addressing these developments. The research employs an empirical legal method with a sociological jurisprudence approach. Descriptive statistical analysis is applied to the statistical recapitulation of public reports throughout 2025, accessed via the Cyber Crime Investigation Portal of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) on June 20, 2026. The findings indicate a significant upward trend in cybercrime reports, with online fraud emerging as the most reported category (39.9%), followed by cyber-extortion/threats (23.7%), and online defamation (18.1%). The legal implications of these data trends show that rigid adherence to the principles of lex scripta, lex certa, and lex stricta within the formal legality framework potentially risks creating a legal vacuum or statutory limitations when facing fast-paced technological shifts. This study suggests a necessary reorientation of the legislative formulations toward a more adaptive approach while firmly upholding the fundamental principle of legal certainty.

Abstract

This study reconstructs legal research methodology to respond to societal dynamics without abandoning the normative character of legal science. It employs normative legal research with statutory, conceptual, and interdisciplinary approaches. Materials include legislation, books, and journal articles published from 2020 to 2026. Systematic interpretation and thematic synthesis produce a six layer model covering normative orientation, empirical reality, disciplinary integration, technological support, ethical safeguards, and justice evaluation. The model is operationalized through problem diagnosis, mapping of legal materials, evidence design, analysis, integration, prescription, and audit. Technology is treated as a validated instrument rather than a substitute for legal reasoning. The reconstruction strengthens coherence between positive law, social facts, and recommendations while supporting transparent, reviewable, and substantively just legal scholarship.

Abstract

Developments in the food industry are driving businesses to produce innovative products that align with consumer preferences. One such product innovation developed by Haifresh Strawberry Lembang is strawberry sambal as a processed product. Fluctuations in sales indicate the need to evaluate product attributes to determine the level of consumer satisfaction, which will serve as the basis for improving these attributes and formulating product development strategies. This study aims to identify consumer characteristics and the level of consumer satisfaction with the attributes of strawberry sambal based on the 4P dimensions. The methods used include the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The results show that strawberry sambal consumers are predominantly women aged 26–35, the majority of whom reside in the Bandung area. Most are homemakers or private-sector employees. Consumer satisfaction with the strawberry sambal product falls into the “satisfied” category, with a CSI score of 75.03%, indicating that most product attributes meet consumer expectations. The IPA analysis shows that there are three attributes in Quadrant I—namely, packaging design, ease of access to the product, and online promotions and information—that are top priorities for improvement because they have a high level of importance but the company’s performance in these areas is low. The results of this study are expected to serve as the basis for determining improvements and enhancement strategies for these product attributes, thereby increasing consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Spiritual needs are an essential component of holistic care that must be addressed in every patient. These needs are particularly important for individuals with chronic illnesses, terminal conditions, and those receiving palliative care. The ideal spiritual condition for patients is the achievement of spiritual well-being. However, not all patients are able to attain this state due to various influencing factors. This study aimed to describe patients' knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to achieving spiritual well-being. A descriptive case study design was employed involving patients with chronic diseases. A total of 32 participants were recruited, consisting of patients with chronic kidney disease, stroke, and infectious diseases. The findings revealed that the patients' levels of knowledge, attitudes, and practices ranged from fair to poor. These results indicate that regardless of their health condition, all patients continue to require spiritual support as an integral part of their personal experience. Therefore, patients need continuous education to develop adequate knowledge and positive attitudes that will enable them to achieve optimal spiritual well-being.

Abstract

Motivation to learn is a crucial factor in students' success in mathematics education. When motivation is low, students often lose interest in the learning process, which negatively impacts their conceptual understanding and academic outcomes. Therefore, there is a need for instructional media that can create a more engaging learning atmosphere and foster active student participation; the use of instructional videos is one such approach. This article aims to examine the effectiveness of using instructional videos to enhance motivation in learning mathematics, drawing upon previously published research findings. The study employs a literature review approach, involving the search, collection, analysis, and synthesis of scholarly articles regarding the application of instructional videos in mathematics education. Data sources consist of national and international journals published within the last five years. The analysis indicates that the consistent use of instructional videos has a positive effect on increasing student learning motivation. Delivering material via video makes the learning process more engaging, helps students visualize abstract mathematical concepts, improves their focus and attention, and encourages active participation during lessons. Furthermore, instructional videos offer students the opportunity for independent learning tailored to their individual abilities and learning paces. Based on this review, it can be concluded that instructional videos are a highly effective medium for boosting motivation in mathematics learning and creating a more interactive and meaningful learning experience.
