Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach in mathematics learning for grade IV at SD Negeri 34/I Teratai in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This study uses a qualitative research type with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of the study included teachers and students of grade IV A. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested through triangulation of techniques and sources. The results showed that the implementation of TaRL consisted of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the planning stage, teachers analyzed Learning Outcomes (CP), compiled Learning Objectives (TP), and prepared teaching materials. At the implementation stage, students were grouped based on their abilities through diagnostic assessments and the learning process followed the syntax of Problem Based Learning (PBL). Evaluation involved reflecting on the effectiveness of the approach on student understanding, motivation, and engagement. In conclusion, the implementation of TaRL systematically increases the effectiveness of mathematics learning by adjusting teaching methods to student characteristics.

This study aims to develop a learning model based on the Case Method and Team-Based Project in the Environmental Education (PLH) course to enhance students' higher order thinking skills in the Society 5.0 era. The model is developed through four learning modules, each consisting of three main phases: penetration, discussion, and project. In the penetration phase, students are introduced to fundamental concepts and relevant environmental cases through literature review and practical experiments. The discussion phase allows students to analyze cases in depth from various perspectives and design innovative solutions. In the project phase, students collaborate to develop and publish casebased projects, such as creating an environmental encyclopedia, organizing recycling campaigns, or producing digital educational content. The results indicate that this learning model increases student engagement in the learning process, strengthens analytical and problem-solving skills, and fosters innovation in developing environmental solutions. Moreover, students responded positively to this model as it provides a more interactive, contextual, and applicable learning experience aligned with the demands of the Society 5.0 era. Thus, the development of the Case Method and Team-Based Project model in the PLH course can serve as an innovative learning alternative to prepare students for the dynamic global challenges ahead.

Students' poor reflective thinking abilities, ineffective use of digital learning resources, and slow learning processes in science classes in Sidoarjo City's primary schools prompted this study. The purpose of this research is to find out how fifth graders' reflective thinking abilities on the human digestive system fared when taught utilizing the problem-based learning approach with the use of the digital learning tool Quizwhizzer. Two experimental groups using the problem-based learning paradigm are part of this descriptive quantitative study's quasi-experimental approach. The results show that the pupils' ability to think reflectively has significantly improved. In experimental class 1, the t-value was 22.19, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.06, and in experimental class 2, the t-value was 36.60, which is also greater than the t-table value of 2.06. Experimental classes 1 and 2 both have N-Gain values of 0.73 and 0.78, respectively. Therefore, it has been demonstrated that the digital learning tool Quizwhizzer helps fifth graders improve their reflective thinking abilities.

Document management in the digital era requires a system that can optimize the archiving process effectively. Various obstacles that arise in the archive management manual develop the development of technology-based systems to meet the needs of modern organizations. Some problems that are often encountered in manual archiving systems include the length of time for recording, data inaccuracy due to limited storage media, and the difficulty of the document search process. This has an impact on decreasing work efficiency and organizational productivity. To overcome these challenges, designing an electronic archive application is the right solution. This application is designed by considering various aspects such as managing incoming and outgoing documents, an integrated search system, and automatic report generation. From a technical perspective, the application uses a database for structured storage, is equipped with a user-friendly interface, and a security system. Through the right development approach and attention to user needs, an electronic archive system can be an effective solution in increasing the productivity and efficiency of organizational document management. This system not only makes staff work easier, but also provides added value to the organization in terms of saving resources and improving service quality.

This study compares the effectiveness of Powtoon and PowerPoint as learning media in the Inquiry Learning model on students’ creative thinking skills in mathematics. Creative thinking skills were measured based on fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of two eleventh-grade classes at SMAN 1 Arosbaya, each with 30 students. The research instrument was an essay-based creative thinking test, which was validated for reliability and validity. Data analysis utilized the t-test (paired sample test and independent sample test) using SPSS 25. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant difference in students' creative thinking skills before and after using Powtoon; (2) there was a significant difference before and after using PowerPoint; and (3) Powtoon was more effective than PowerPoint in enhancing students' creative thinking skills. This study concludes that the use of technology-based learning media can enhance students' creative thinking skills, with Powtoon having a more significant impact than PowerPoint. These findings have implications for educators in selecting more interactive and innovative learning media to foster students’ creative thinking skills in mathematics.

This study aims to examine the Make a Match learning model effect on students activeness in pancasila education for second grade elementary school. As well as to identify students responses to the implementation of this model. The study employed a quasi eksperimental design to measure students activeness thought tests of their pancasila education skills and student activity questionnaires. The result showed that average pretest and posttest score in the control class were 61,08 and 67,65. Respectively, while in the experimental class were 72,5 and 82,9. Based on the questionnaire, students gave an average rating 77,6% indicating that the make a match learning model was highly effective

The moral and ethical crisis among students is increasingly becoming a serious concern in the world of education today. Various problems such as bullying, dishonesty and misuse of technology reflect the lack of strong character formation in the younger generation. Islamic education, which is based on moral values from the Koran and Hadith, offers a holistic approach in dealing with these problems. This article aims to examine the role of Islamic education in shaping the character of students through the application of Islamic moral and ethical teachings, which focus on noble character, consistency in worship, and the principles of justice. This approach not only focuses on intellectual aspects, but also strengthens students' positive character and behavior, which is expected to be a solution to the moral and ethical crisis that is occurring. It is hoped that this study can find effective methods in implementing Islamic education to form a young generation with integrity and responsibility.

The words mujmal and mubayyan are two important concepts in the science of interpretation which relate to the way in which meaning is conveyed in the Qur'an. Lafazh mujmal refers to words or expressions that still have generality and require further explanation to understand them correctly. Meanwhile, the word mubayyan is an expression that is clear and detailed so that its meaning can be understood directly without the need for additional explanation. In the context of the Qur'an, these two types of lafazh play a very important role. Verses that use the lafazh mujmal often require further interpretation or explanation from other explanatory verses (mubayyan), either those that come in the Qur'an itself or from the hadith of the Prophet SAW. For example, the lafazh mujmal can be found in legal verses that require a more in-depth explanation, such as the verse regarding the obligation of zakat which only states the amount without details of how it is managed. Lafazh mubayyan, on the other hand, can be found in clearer verses, such as further explanations of the details of zakat in surah Al-Baqarah and the hadith of the Prophet SAW.

This study aims to explore the relationship between brain development and the role of nutrition in supporting primary school students' learning achievement. The issue raised is how brain development factors, which are influenced by nutritional intake, can affect children's cognitive abilities and spirituality. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative approach with literature analysis that links concepts in the Qur'an with recent neuroscience findings. Data was collected from various sources, including previous research and relevant Qur'anic commentaries. The results showed that the development of the human brain has a unique position and functions as the center of thinking activity which is greatly influenced by the nutrients received. This study concludes that meeting the needs of proper nutrition is essential to optimize brain development and improve learning achievement of primary school students, and emphasizes the need for more attention to children's diet in the context of education.

This research aims to explore and analyze Qaedah-based Learning of Language, Qaedah Tafsir, and Ushul Fiqh in Islamic Education. The problem raised is the lack of in-depth understanding of these three rules among students and teachers. The methodology used was a literature study, by collecting data from various written sources, including books, journal articles, and relevant official documents. The results showed that the Qaedah of Language serves as the linguistic basis for interpreting religious texts, the Qaedah of Tafsir provides a systematic methodology for understanding the meaning of Qur'anic verses, and Ushul Fiqh plays an important role in the development and application of Islamic law. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to the understanding and teaching of these rules in the context of Islamic education, as well as encourage the development of a more effective curriculum.
