Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan Menulis Cerita Berdasarkan Pengalaman dengan media gambar pada siswa kelas IV SD 098021 Kampung Prapat Tahun Pembelajaran 2024-2025. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah SD 098021 Prapat pada siswa kelas VI, dengan jumlah siswa 35 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD 098021 pada kelas IV. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2024. Hasil penelitian mengenai proses pembelajaran pada siklus I diketahui bahwa 19 responden atau siswa menunjukkan sikap positif selama proses pembelajaran. Pada siklus II diketahui 30 siswa menunjukkan sikap positif selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil ini telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan proses pembelajaran pada penelitian tindakan ini, yaitu minimal sebesar 70% siswa harus menunjukkan sikap positif dalam pembelajaran. Terdapat peningkatan nilai dari siklus I dan siklus II. Dari segi ketuntatasan, diketahui bahwa dari 19 siswa yang tuntas menjadi 30 siswa yang tuntas. Secara persentase ketuntatasan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 55,28% menjadi 85,71%. Peningkatan juga ditinjau dari kenaikan nilai seluruh siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Terdapat peningkatan nilai sebanyak 28 siswa. Besaran nilai yang naik setidaknya 5-20 poin pada setiap siswa. Setelah dilakukan analisis, diketahui bahwa nilai responden yang naik di kesuluruhan bagian penilaian, penulisan judul, tokoh dan penokohan, alur, latar, gaya bahasa, dan amanat. Peningkatan terjadi karena media gambar yang disediakan peneliti dan guru berupa media gambar yang berurutan atau berseri.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan metode pembelajaran inkuiri dalam pendidikan Islam dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode pembelajaran inkuiri merupakan pendekatan yang mendorong siswa untuk bertanya, menyelidiki, dan menemukan jawaban sendiri melalui proses eksplorasi dan penemuan. Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, metode ini dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep-konsep agama secara lebih mendalam dan kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di sekolah menengah Islam. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran inkuiri secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, mampu mengajukan pertanyaan yang relevan, dan mengembangkan kemampuan analisis serta sintesis. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar metode pembelajaran inkuiri diterapkan secara lebih luas dalam pendidikan Islam untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

The study's goals are to: 1) Determine how the Paired Storytelling learning paradigm may be used to enhance students' story listening comprehension in class V SDN 1 Arawa. 2) To determine if using the Paired Storytelling learning methodology may help students in class V SDN 1 Arawa become better story listeners. This study uses a qualitative methodology and is classified as classroom action research. This paper investigates the teacher's learning process and the learning outcomes of the students using the Paired Storytelling learning paradigm. The subjects of the research were twenty-four teachers and V grade pupils. Data collecting techniques include observation, testing, and documenting among others. Additionally, descriptive qualitative analysis and processing were performed on the data. The effectiveness of this research will be determined by how well the student learning outcomes and the paired storytelling implementation procedure work together. While the findings of research in cycle II have met the set success indicator of ≥76%, the results of cycle I research have not yet reached the success indicator of the results set because students are still less engaged in their learning. According to the findings, fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Arawa may enhance their listening abilities by using the Paired Storytelling learning paradigm.

This study aims to describe the elements of spatial mathematics found in the Gedang Kerinci Traditional House as an understanding of the concept of spatial mathematics more contextually and applicatively in elementary school learning. The researcher used ethnographic and qualitative research methodologies in this study. The researcher used human instruments, who directly visited the field and conducted observation, interview, literature review, and documentation activities. The data analysis methods used were data reduction, triangulation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. All forms of spatial structures in traditional houses were collected. The results of this study are elementary school spatial mathematics concepts found in the Gedang Kerinci Traditional House such as cubes and blocks. It was determined that upper elementary school students can benefit from learning mathematics through ethnomathematics investigations of the Gedang Kerinci traditional house contextually and applicatively.

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education subjects in Class V of SD Negeri 20 Piai Padang City which can be seen from the average score that has not reached the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). The conventional learning model is less effective in increasing students' involvement and understanding in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Cooperative Learning Type Make a Match learning model in improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education subjects. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which was carried out in two cycles, with 28 students as research subjects. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, student observations and learning activity assessment questionnaires.The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The average score of students before the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Make a Match model was 69.67 then increased to 76.96 in cycle I and 87.86 in cycle II. In addition, students' activities during the learning process also increased with the percentage of students' involvement reaching 98.87% in cycle II. The data results show that students are more active and motivated in learning using this model. Based on this, it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Make a Match model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila education subjects in class V of SD Negeri 20 Piai Kota Padang. This study recommends that teachers consider using this learning model to improve the quality of learning in the classroom

This research aims to improve understanding of mathematical concepts for class V students at SDN 105331 Punden Rejo. The research uses the (R&D) method with the ADDIE model to produce a product. The ADDIE model consists of 5 analysis stages, namely, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research results from the implementation of ethnomathematics-based Canva media development have a validity percentage of 96% based on the assessment of material experts and 80% according to the assessment of media experts so that the development media is classified as very valid and its validity has been tested. The ethnomathematics-based Canva media that has been developed has a test score of 94.25% so that the development media is classified as very practical to apply in the learning process. The Canva media product based on Javanese cultural ethnomathematics which was developed using the RME model was considered effective in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts in class V at SDN 105331 Punden Rejo with a percentage of 85%.

Many students struggle with mathematical concepts due to less interactive teaching methods and minimal use of supporting media. This study examines the impact of a PBL approach with Wordwall on grade IV students' understanding of fractions. Using a quasi-experimental Non-equivalent Control Group Design, 60 students from SD Negeri Sukaraja 1 were selected. Data collection included 10 descriptive test questions and documentation.Results showed the experimental class had a higher average score (81.3) than the kontrol class (62.6), with an n-gain of 0.71 (high) versus 0.36 (moderate) in the kontrol group. This indicates that PBL with Wordwall significantly enhances students' mathematical understanding.Thus, PBL assisted by Wordwall makes learning more interactive and enjoyable, improving students' grasp of mathematical concepts, especially in fractions.

The mobility of society, influenced by globalization, continues to increase, with fewer limitations on travel distances. People around the world can travel to other countries easily and quickly. Cross-border movement requires a travel document in the form of a passport as an individual's identification when entering and leaving a country. The number of passport applications varies each year. Typically, public interest in obtaining a passport rises during certain seasons, such as the Hajj season or long holidays. To anticipate uncertainties in passport application numbers, this study aims to explore which forecasting methods can be used to predict the number of passport applications within a specific timeframe. This research employs a survey approach by reviewing scientific journals or articles published between 2020 and 2025. Through this study, we can identify the types of methods used in similar research. Based on the findings, the most commonly used approach is the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), while the approach with the highest research accuracy is the Fuzzy Time Series Model Cheng, achieving an accuracy of 99.55%.

This research uses a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research aimed at testing hypotheses or theories through measurement and analysis of numerical data. The main goal of experimental research is to determine cause-and-effect relationships between the variables studied. Research in the form of Quasi Experimental Design uses methods that do not fully control the variables that influence the research results, but can still provide useful information about the cause-and-effect relationships between the variables studied. Critical thinking ability is an important skill to emphasize in Mathematics learning in order to encourage students to learn through knowledge so that students can solve problems and find solutions. Based on observation activities carried out at SDN Cibuntu 02, several problems were found, including learning media only in textbooks, the absence of media that can improve students' critical thinking skills, and the low level of students' critical thinking skills. Thus, from the problems above, it is necessary to develop a supporting teaching material for textbooks, namely in the form of pocket books that can improve students' critical thinking skills. This research aims to determine the validity of the mathematics pocket book on whole number material, determine the effectiveness of the pocket book in improving critical thinking skills, and the practicality of the pocket book being tested at SDN Cibuntu 02. The method in this research is to use research and development methods with the ADDIE model. Validation of the mathematics pocket book is carried out by media expert validators, language experts and material experts. The validity test of the test instrument was carried out by three experts and the reliability test was carried out by 18 class 2 students. The contextual-based pocket book was implemented using a purposive sampling technique with research subjects totaling 29 class 1 students. The practicality test of the contextual-based pocket book was carried out by students. The research results showed that the product validity test was declared valid for use with a percentage of material experts of 89% and media experts of 84%, 91% of language experts in the very appropriate category. The conclusion of this research is that a mathematics pocket book can be used, is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills, and is very practical to implement in mathematics learning.
