Abstract

This study designs a stock demand prediction system based on Machine Learning using the n8n automation platform. Sales data for 14 days were collected from Google Sheets, preprocessed, and then used to generate predictions with SARIMA and Random Forest algorithms. The results of both models were compared using MAPE. The system also provides average calculations based on day, weather, and events, and automatically sends stock recommendations via WhatsApp along with graphs generated by hcti.io. The research method employed is Research and Development with the Waterfall model. Black box testing was conducted across 6 scenarios, and all features were found to function validly. The results indicate that SARIMA is more accurate with a MAPE of 38.55%, categorized as fair, compared to Random Forest with a MAPE of 50.25%, categorized as poor. SARIMA was therefore selected as the main model for 7-day ahead forecasting and provides recommendations to increase stock by 30%-40% on peak days. Conclusion: The stock prediction system based on n8n and SARIMA is feasible for supporting inventory decision-making at Warkop Mie Aceh Rezeki Bersama.

Abstract

Parental involvement is one of the factors that plays an important role in improving the academic achievement of elementary school students. This involvement includes assisting children with learning, providing motivation, supervising learning activities, providing learning facilities, and maintaining communication with the school. This study employed a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The study involved 125 respondents selected using the total sampling technique. Data on parental involvement were collected using a questionnaire, while data on academic achievement were obtained from students' report card documentation. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that most parents had a high level of involvement (67 respondents; 53.6%), and the majority of students had good academic achievement (71 respondents; 56.8%). The Spearman Rank test revealed a significant relationship between parental involvement in learning and students' academic achievement (r = 0.714; p < 0.001), indicating a strong positive correlation. These findings suggest that the higher the level of parental involvement in children's learning process, the better their academic achievement. In conclusion, parental involvement has a significant relationship with the academic achievement of elementary school students.

Abstract

Translanguaging has emerged as a transformative pedagogical orientation in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms, challenging traditional monolingual norms by utilizing learners' full linguistic repertoires. However, how teachers systematically manage and execute translanguaging strategies during oral speaking activities remains under-explored. This qualitative descriptive study portrays how EFL teachers apply translanguaging strategies to manage classroom interactions and facilitate students' oral English production. Data were gathered through non-participant classroom observations using structured checklists across three senior high school classes and semi-structured in-depth interviews with three English teachers at a multilingual senior high school in West Java, Indonesia. Utilizing thematic analysis, the findings reveal four core instructional translanguaging strategies: (1) instructional scaffolding through linguistic starters and synonym prompting, (2) non-disruptive reformulation and modeling, (3) strategic code-switching for conceptual clarification and instruction, and (4) peer-collaborative translanguaging to mitigate speaking anxiety among low-proficiency learners. Observational evidence confirms that deliberate translanguaging regulation acts as a vital cognitive bridge that enhances student participation without reducing exposure to the target language. The study highlights that managing translanguaging requires a flexible, goal-oriented balance where the first language serves as a temporary scaffolding mechanism while maintaining English as the primary communicative goal.
