Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Media pembelajaran adalah salah satu alat yang digunakan oleh para pengajar sebagai penyampaian materi pembelajaran, meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, dan meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. teknologi pendidikan adalah sebagai penerapan prinsip-prinsip berbasis pengetahuan dalam mengatasi tantangan pembelajaran. Dalam pendidikan media pembelajaran sangat penting untuk diterapkan di dunia pendidikan. Maka perlunya pelibatan aplikasi ini pada proses belajar bila dikatakan perlu untuk menunjang pembelajaran yang cenderung membosankan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam riset ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Pendekatan ini dilakukan melalui pengambilan data melalui penelitian survey dengan pengumpulan kuesioner. Tekning sampling yang disebarkan secara purposive sampling diisi oleh 55 responden dari total populasi sebanyak 123 siswa. Responden berasal dari siswa aktif kelas XI SMA-S Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung. Analisis data menggunakan Regresi Linear Sederhana dan diolah dengan program SPSS 26. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh persepsi siswa dalam menggunakan game kahoot memengaruhi evaluasi belajar ekonomi. Dengan kadar determinasi sebesar 0,467, atau 64,6% dari persepsi siswa menggunakan game kahoot dipengaruhi oleh evaluasi belajar dan faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model ini adalah 35,4.

This study aims to identify the influence of work environment and work discipline on employee work performance at PT. PLN (Persero) ULTG Palopo. The research uses an explanatory and descriptive approach, with a population of 50 employees, which is also a sample through census techniques. Data was collected using a Google Form-based questionnaire with research variables including work environment and work discipline as independent variables, as well as work performance as dependent variables. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous) to test the hypothesis. The results of the study show that partially, the work environment and work discipline have a positive and significant influence on employee work performance. Simultaneously, the two independent variables also have a positive and significant influence on employee work performance.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Big Book terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN Ambunten Tengah II. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis Pre Eksperimental dengan tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SDN Ambunten Tengah II yang berjumlah 19 siswa, terdiri dari 14 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan membaca permulaan dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji hipotesis Paired Sample T-Test dengan bantuan SPSS 29 for Windows. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi pretest 0,302 > 0,05 dan posttest 0,233 > 0,05. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai probabilitas (Sig) 0,001 ≤ 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media Big Book terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 69,84 meningkat menjadi 81,53 pada posttest dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 17%. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Big Book berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN Ambunten Tengah II.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tentang hak dan kewajiban di rumah dan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pre-experimental design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD Tiga Putra Kota Kupang yang berjumlah 15 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data: 1) Tes. Instrumen penelitian yaitu tes berupa pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Instrumen soal sebelum diterapkan, terlebih dahulu digunakan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dan digunakan untuk dilakukan uji hipotesis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Tiga Putra Kota Kupang pada Kelas IV. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian Hipotesis, menggunakan paired sample T-test, hasil data menunjukan bahwa nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pada taraf signifikansi (2-tailed) < 0,05. Sesuai dengan dasar pengambilan keputusan jika nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05, maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar pada data pretest-posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model problem based learning berbantuan media papan pintar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi hak dan kewajiban di rumah dan sekolah di kelas IV SD Tiga Putra Kota Kupang.

This article highlights the quality of basic education services in Indonesia as a primary focus of the government’s efforts to improve human resource quality. Various strategic measures have been implemented, including equitable distribution of facilities and infrastructure, enhancement of teacher quality, and expansion of education access for underserved communities. The adoption of technology and digital learning also plays a vital role in education transformation. By analyzing policies such as the New Student Admission (PPDB) and identifying existing challenges and solutions, this article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and development direction of basic education service quality in Indonesia.

The phylum Porifera, commonly known as sea sponges, plays a vital role in maintaining marine ecosystem balance and holds significant potential in the tourism and local economic sectors in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the ecological and economic benefits of Porifera, particularly within the context of Indonesia’s rich marine biodiversity. The method employed is a qualitative descriptive literature review, analyzing various relevant studies and data on the presence and utilization of Porifera. The findings indicate that Porifera function as natural biofilters and indicators of marine ecosystem health, while also offering aesthetic value that can be developed as an attraction for marine tourism. Furthermore, several Porifera species contain bioactive compounds with high economic value, making them promising resources for pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. The sustainable use of Porifera can support marine conservation efforts while enhancing the livelihoods of coastal communities. Therefore, collaboration among government, academia, and local communities is essential for managing this potential wisely and sustainably.

The low level of pedagogical competence among elementary school teachers in Ulujami Subdistrict, Pemalang Regency, has become a serious concern in efforts to improve education quality. This study aims to develop a school principal supervision model based on the BAGJA approach to enhance pedagogical competence. Using the R&D method adapted from Borg and Gall, the study involves stages of preliminary research, model development, and validation. The research indicates that the BAGJA-based supervision model is practical, effective, and applicable to real school conditions. This model enables principals to provide structured, solution-oriented supervision, helping teachers to improve planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning.

This study aims to develop fable story teaching materials based on character education using Gemini AI and Canva media to improve students' writing skills in elementary schools. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The Define stage involved needs analysis and curriculum review, followed by the Design stage, which focused on content structuring and media selection. In the Develop stage, the materials were validated by experts and revised based on feedback, and finally tested through limited trials. The results of the study indicate that the developed teaching materials are valid based on expert validation, practical based on student responses, and effective in improving students' ability to write fable texts. Additionally, the teaching materials are successful in integrating character values into the learning process, thereby supporting students' affective and cognitive development. The combination of Gemini AI and Canva not only enhances students' creativity and engagement but also fosters a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience. These findings suggest that technology-assisted teaching materials can be a powerful tool to improve literacy and character education in primary education.

This study aims to determine, 1) Teacher strategies towards students’ reading ability, 2) Inhibiting and supporting factors for teacher in improving students’ reading ability. The teacher method used is quantitative. The objects studiet were homeroom teachers I, II and students of class I, II Mis wora wera district bima regency. The results of the study showet that: 1) The strategy used by teachers towards students reading ability is by using the spelling method strategy usig the basal readers method and the distar method, 2) Inhibiting ang supporting factorrs for teachers in improving students’ reading ability, the inhibiting factors for teachers are: students and the environment. While the supporting factors are: peer tutors. The conclusion shows that the teacher’s strategi in mis wora wera district towards students reading ability in class is applied by teachers by inviting students to read books, making game in between learning. Providing facilities for students, teacher accustom student to literacy firts, using the lesson plan (RPP) as a reference in the class learning proces. So it can be suggested that, in order for students reading ability to improve, develop teacher strategies in the learning process
