Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools plays an important role in developing students' language skills. One of the essential language skills is listening. However, in practice, listening learning in elementary schools still faces several issues. This article discusses several problems found in teaching Indonesian listening skills at the elementary level, such as students’ lack of interest, difficulties in understanding spoken texts, and the limited use of technology in the learning process. The article also identifies several solutions to address these issues, such as the use of more interactive teaching methods, integration of technology in lessons, and improved collaboration between teachers and students. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the problems in teaching Indonesian listening skills in elementary schools and offer potential solutions to overcome them.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbasis Games Class of Champions di kelas IX.6 SMP Negeri 30 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui angket motivasi belajar berdasarkan enam indikator dari teori Uno (2011), yaitu: hasrat untuk berhasil, dorongan belajar, harapan masa depan, penghargaan, aktivitas belajar yang menarik, dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan motivasi belajar peserta didik dari pra-siklus sebesar 71 menjadi 77 pada siklus I, meningkat menjadi 80 pada siklus II, dan mencapai 85 pada siklus III. Peningkatan ini mencerminkan efektivitas model TGT berbasis Games Class of Champions dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif, kompetitif secara sehat, dan menyenangkan. Selain itu, model ini juga mampu mengembangkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik seperti kerja sama, komunikasi, dan sportivitas. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif inovatif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar di tingkat SMP.

Abstract

ABSTRACT English language skills are important in today's civilization. Schools are a good educational space to provide English subjects with the aim of improving and honing the English language skills of students. This happens, because the English language skills of Indonesian citizens are still low. Based on the results of preliminary observations of 6th grade students at SDS Kristen Pasundan, it shows that their reading comprehension skills in English are still lacking. Therefore, through this study aims to determine the activities of the application of the RADEC model assisted by Literacy Cloud media and determine the results of reading comprehension skills in English. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The results of this study showed that there was an increase in English reading comprehension skills from Cycle I - III. Keywords: RADEC Model, Literacy Cloud, Reading Comprehension ABSTRAK Kemampuan berbahasa Inggris menjadi hal yang penting di tengah peradaban saat ini. Sekolah menjadi ruang Pendidikan yang baik untuk menyediakan mata Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan serta mengasah kemampuan berbahasa Inggris peserta didik. Hal ini terjadi, karena kemampuan berbahasa inggris warga Indonesia masih rendah. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal terhadap peserta didik kelas 6 di SDS Kristen Pasundan, menunjukkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Inggris masih kurang. Oleh karenanya, melalui penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivtas penerapan model RADEC berbantuan media Literacy Cloud dan mengetahui hasil kemampuan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Inggris dari Siklus I – III. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply ecoliteracy to early childhood in the Alambarajo environment of Jambi City. The research method in this study uses qualitative descriptive which aims to describe the ecoliteracy abilities of children in their environment, namely in Alambarajo District, Jl.Bersama, Jambi City. The application of ecoliteracy in the Alambarajo environment has been running well, as seen from the Head (knowledge) and Heart (Attitude) in early childhood in the Alambarajo environment of Jambi City has developed well, this knowledge can develop children's thinking skills contextually in the form of experiences in everyday life in the environment which aims to develop children's thinking skills in solving problems efficiently in their environment.

Abstract

Students at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level continue showing a comparatively low degree of interest in literacy, particularly reading and writing. The less engaging and frequently boring teaching methodology is one of the reasons. Using audio-visual materials is one of the creative learning strategies required to solve this issue. This media can boost students' interest in literacy-related tasks by presenting educational content more engagingly and understandably. Given this context, this study aims to assess how well Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudlatul Hidayah's use of audio-visual-based teaching techniques increases students' interest in literacy. This study combines a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Teachers were interviewed, students were given questionnaires to complete as the primary respondents, and observations of teaching and learning activities were used to gather data. According to the study's findings, using audio-visual materials, including instructional videos, animations, and interactive graphics, helped pupils become more interested in reading and writing. Pupils started to gather written tasks actively, became more excited about paying attention in class, and began searching for extra reading independently. Teachers also thought this approach improved class interaction, facilitated time management, and helped pupils grasp the content more quickly. Nevertheless, challenges must be addressed, including a lack of technology gadgets, erratic internet connections, and instructor proficiency with digital media. As a result, specialised training and sufficient infrastructure are required. The audio-visual approach has raised students' attention and reading levels and is a valuable teaching tool in the digital age

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on the interpersonal communication skills of upper-grade elementary school students. The method employed is a Literature Review with a qualitative approach, analyzing 20 scholarly publications published between 2019 and 2025. The analysis results indicate that the TPS model consistently contributes positively to enhancing various aspects of interpersonal communication skills, such as speaking, listening, expressing opinions, as well as fostering cooperation, empathy, and self confidence. The three stages of the TPS model think, pair, and share create a collaborative learning environment that supports social interaction and active idea exchange.

Abstract

As social creatures, humans always use language in daily communication to convey certain intentions. The short story "It's About Me" by Putu Ayub was analyzed to identify the various illocutionary speech acts used. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods through literature review. The results of the analysis showed that illocutionary speech acts such as praise, questions, explanations, entertainment, and advice had mixed effects on recipients. Compliments help break the ice, while questions and explanations can cause discomfort if they touch on sensitive topics. Entertainment and advice provide emotional support and trigger introspection in the recipient. The study revealed that the way of communication and word selection can have a significant impact on recipients in social and emotional contexts

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary school is essential for building a strong foundation of numeracy literacy, which helps learners understand mathematical concepts and solve everyday problems. Mastery of concepts from an early age, especially the material of multiplication of decimal numbers up to 100, is the foundation for the success of subsequent learning. However, at SD Negeri 1 Sumber, there are still students in grade III B who have difficulty understanding the concept of multiplication, especially stacked calculations. Classroom action research with a qualitative quantitative approach was conducted on 23 students of grade III B SD Negeri 1 Sumber in the 2024/2025 school year. The results showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes in each cycle: precycle averaged 24.78 (48% complete), cycle I averaged 47.83 (26% complete), and cycle II averaged 81.30 (78% complete) after the application of the cross line method. The highest value also increases from 90 to 100, and the lowest value from 0 to 50. This confirms the effectiveness of the cross line method in improving understanding of the concept and learning outcomes of multiplication of integers up to 100 independently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, proses, dan evaluasi pembelajaran bahasa arab dengan menggunakan kitab Lisan Arabi di pondok pesantren Al-Mubarokah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian field research menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga alur yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran bahasa arab dengan menggunakan kitab Lisan Arabi telah terstruktur dengan baik, mencakup semua aspek pembelajaran, perencanaan pembelajaran sudah meliputi penetapan tujuan, pemilihan materi, metode, media, dan penilaian yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan santri. Proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode bernyanyi, dimana pembelajaran dilakukan secara langsung dan individual dengan interaksi intensif antara guru dan siswa. Evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan dengan tes tertulis, lisan, dan observasi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' ability in reading, including students' ability to read the beginning in learning Indonesian language material. Teachers need learning media, one of which is word cards, to help deliver learning materials. The purpose of this researcher is to determine the effect of the application of the synthetic analytical structural method assisted by word card media on the ability to read the beginning. This study uses a quantitative approach. The IBM SPSS 25 program is used to conduct normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results of the study showed the Independent Sample t Test, with a significance value of sig. <0.05 which indicates that there is an effect of the application of the synthetic analytical structural method assisted by word card media on the ability to read the beginning.
