Abstract

The low science literacy of students at SD Negeri 1 Sumbang, especially in understanding the IPAS material “Bumiku Sayang Bumiku Malang”, is the problem identified in this study. The lack of contextual teaching materials and the use of conventional learning methods cause students' interest and critical thinking skills to decline. This study aims to improve students' science literacy through the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by interactive e-modules. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method of the Kemmis and McTaggart model, carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data collection instruments included teacher and student activity observations, and science literacy tests. The results showed that the application of CTL model assisted by interactive e-module effectively improved students' science literacy. This is indicated by an increase in the percentage of student learning completeness on IPAS material, as well as an increase in student learning activities in the classroom. Thus, the use of the CTL model assisted by interactive e-modules can be an innovative alternative in improving science literacy skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital YouTube content on the language style of early childhood, focusing specifically on children aged 3 and 7 years. In the digital era, YouTube has become a widely accessed platform among children, serving as both an entertainment source and a learning tool. However, unsupervised consumption of content may impact children's language development and behavior. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, direct interviews with parents, and literature review from various academic sources. The findings reveal that the children's language style is significantly influenced by the type of content they frequently watch. Threeyear-old children tend to exhibit imitative and expressive language styles closely linked to physical actions, often mimicking scenes and dialogues from videos such as "Tayo" or police role-play videos. Meanwhile, seven-year-old children display a more structured and formal language style, influenced by channels like "Diana and Roma," which present content in storytelling formats. These results indicate that YouTube content plays an important role in shaping the language style of early childhood. Therefore, parental guidance is crucial to ensure children consume appropriate content that supports positive language development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the contribution of the driving teacher in improving the quality of the driving school at SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research focus includes the role of the driving teacher in internal training, supervision between teachers, and the development of learning modules that support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The results of the study show that the driving teacher plays an active role in improving the professional competence of teachers through internal training, strengthening collaboration and the quality of learning through supervision between teachers, and contributing to the development of an innovative curriculum. These contributions have a positive impact on improving the quality of learning, school management, and a more productive school culture. This research provides an empirical picture that can be used as material for evaluating and developing the mobilising teacher program in the future, as well as helping policy makers in optimising the role of mobilising teachers as agents of change in mobilising schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Media Pembelajaran Animasi Mental Canvas berbasis kearifan lokal Batanghari pada pembelajaran IPAS materi Daerahku Kebanggaanku di kelas V Sekolah Dasar dan penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 80/I Muara Bulian pada Februari 2025. Media pembelajaran animasi ini dirancang dalam bentuk Website dan dikembangkan menggunakan model DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate). Data penelitian meliputi data kualitatif berupa masukan dari validator ahli media, materi, dan bahasa, serta data kuantitatif berupa skor validasi, penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru, dan respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi media memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,5 pada tahap pertama dan meningkat menjadi 4,8 pada tahap kedua dengan kategori sangat valid. Validasi materi mendapatkan skor 3,8 pada tahap pertama dan meningkat menjadi 4,8 pada tahap kedua dengan kategori sangat valid, sedangkan validasi bahasa memperoleh skor 3,6 pada tahap pertama dan meningkat menjadi 4,5 pada tahap kedua dengan kategori sangat valid. Secara keseluruhan, Media Pembelajaran Animasi Mental Canvas berbasis kearifan lokal Batanghari memperoleh skor validitas dalam kategori sangat valid. Penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru mencapai 4,9 dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan respon siswa menunjukkan skor rata-rata 4,7. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan Media Pembelajaran Animasi Mental Canvas berbasis kearifan lokal Batanghari ini valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi Daerahku Kebanggaanku di kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

At the Elementary School (SD) level, one of the challenges faced is creating a learning environment that can motivate students to be actively involved in every learning activity. In this study, the author will examine the effect of game media in the Quizizz application to increase student learning motivation. The approach used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) in the development and testing of the effectiveness of the application in increasing student learning motivation through the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were 26 fourth-grade students of Banjaranyar 02 Elementary School consisting of 9 male students and 17 female students as the experimental class and 23 fourth-grade students of Banjaranayar 03 Elementary School consisting of 10 male students and 13 female students as the control class. Research Results Based on the results of observations made, it can be concluded that the achievement level of 60.05% was in the less effective category at meeting I. At meeting II, 70.05% was in the effective category. It can be concluded that the implementation of the learning process using the Quizizz application can be seen from the increase in the percentage obtained.

Abstract

This paper discusses the contributions of classical scholars to the development of Islamic religious sciences, including theology, fiqh, tafsir, hadith, and tasawuf. The background of this research focuses on the importance of understanding the thoughts of classical Muslim intellectuals in the context of contemporary Islamic education. The method employed is a qualitative approach, collecting data through literature review and document analysis. The findings indicate that classical scholars, such as al-Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun, have created relevant and systematic methodologies in the study of religious sciences that can be applied in modern education. The discussion reveals that integrating Islamic values across various disciplines is crucial for shaping students' character and addressing contemporary challenges. The conclusion emphasizes the need to revitalize educational approaches that accommodate religious values and scientific knowledge, as well as the importance of continuing the intellectual legacy of classical scholars in facing today's complexities.

Abstract

Compensation in Islamic educational institutions is not only interpreted as a material reward, but must also be based on sharia values as a manifestation of the principles of justice, balance, and moral responsibility. This research aims to examine how the integration of sharia values in the compensation system can act as an effective strategy in increasing employee loyalty in Islamic educational institutions. Using a qualitative approach through literature review and thematic analysis, the study found that a compensation system that adopts sharia principles such as justice (‘adl), maslahat, and amanah - is able to build employees’ emotional and spiritual attachment to the institution. Employee loyalty increases along with transparency, contribution-based rewards, and certainty and blessings in income. The findings emphasise the urgency of a holistic approach to human resource management based on Islamic values to create loyal, professional and dedicated employees.

Abstract

Collaboration and participation are important elements that must be developed during the educational process. Project Based Learning is one of the learning methods that can be used to improve teamwork skills through group project activities. The purpose of this study was to determine how well the Project Based Learning paradigm works to improve student engagement and cooperation. Students of class V C of SD Negeri 55/I Sridadi were the subjects of the study. The research methodology used was collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a mixed method approach, namely a quantitative approach using questionnaires and a qualitative approach using observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that the use of the Project Based Learning paradigm can improve student engagement and cooperation. This is evidenced by the average proportion of student collaborative observations increasing by 8.14% from cycle I to cycle II. This is also supported by the results of the student collaboration questionnaire which showed an average percentage of 73.84% in cycle I and 81.96% in cycle II which is included in the very good category. Thus, it can be said that the Project Based Learning paradigm has succeeded in improving student collaboration in class V C of SD Negeri 55/I Sridadi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pendekatan pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas lima di SDN Menteng 01 Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan kelancaran dan ketepatan berbicara, merasa lebih percaya diri dan nyaman dalam menyampaikan ide, serta menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dan keterlibatan emosional selama pembelajaran. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif yang difasilitasi oleh guru memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of increasing the learning motivation of SD Negeri Polokarto 01 students after being given actions in the form of a gamification-based scoreboard method or strategy in the style of Mobile Legends and using Classroom Action Research, which was carried out twice. The subjects in this study are 3rd-grade students of SD Negeri Polokarto 01, totaling 20 students. The results of the research percentage in the first cycle of questionnaire answers were only 23% of students with high learning motivation and 20% with sufficient learning motivation. Meanwhile, it is known that 30% of students have less motivation to learn, and 27% of students do not have the motivation to learn. The observation results showed that students' interest in learning was still low, not disciplined, and the classroom atmosphere was noisy outside the learning context. The cycle continued in phase II and obtained results of 59% of students with high learning motivation and 27% with sufficient learning motivation. Meanwhile, it is known that 8% of students have less motivation to learn, and 6% of students are not motivated in learning. Observations show that students' interest in learning increases, discipline increases, and in-person learning is conducive.
