Abstract

This study is a quantitative study with a research design using a quasi experiment. This study aims to determine the description of the use of learning media based on wordwall educational games in IPAS subjects in class VI UPT SPF SD Inpres Borong Jambu III Makassar city. Then find out the description of student learning motivation in IPAS subjects in class VI UPT SPF SD Inpres Borong Jambu III Makassar City and knowing the effect of the use of learning media based on wordwall educational games on student learning motivation in IPAS subjects in class VI UPT SPF SD Inpres Borong Jambu III Makassar City. The population in this study amounted to 50 students, consisting of 25 students in class VI A and 25 students in class VI B. The sample used was 25 students from class VI B who were selected through random sampling. Data collection was done through questionnaires, observation and documentation. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive analysis research show that the utilization of learning media based on wordwall educational games has a great influence on student learning motivation. In addition, inferential analysis using independent sample t-test shows a probability value smaller than 0.05. This causes the null hypothesis (Ho) to be rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) to be accepted, so that it can be concluded that worwall educational game-based learning media has a significant effect on student learning motivation in IPAS subjects in grade VI elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of the Self-Training feature on the Ruang GTK Platform on the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Manggala District, Makassar City. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a correlational approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with 75 teachers. The results showed that both the use of the Self-Training feature and teachers’ pedagogical competence were in the high category. Regression analysis revealed a positive and significant influence between the two variables, with a contribution of 46%. These findings support digital platforms as effective tools for teacher professional development.

Abstract

This research was conducted at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of the implementation of the independent learning curriculum on the critical thinking ability of students at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with Expost-Facto research methods.The population is all grade VIII students at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung which consists of 462 people. Sampling was carried out using random sampling techniques. The sample used was 46 people. The data collection techniques used are questionnaire dissemination, observation and documentation. So that the data to be obtained is quantitative data. Primary data was obtained directly from the distribution of questionnaires from respondents in the field. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from observations, documentation, and theories from literature, background documentation, and school activities at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The results of this study show that there is a positive and significant influence in the implementation of the independent learning curriculum on the critical thinking ability of students at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung, which can be seen in the calculation of the correlation coefficient and the T test. So that from the acquisition of R calculation with a positive value and the acquisition of a Tvalue of 4.261 compared to Ttable 1.678, so that the Tcount > Ttable, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, which means that there is a positive and significant influence.

Abstract

The purpose of this scientific study is to provide a non-test assessment tool by creating a creative dialogue video on the topic of shopping. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with data collection. The primary data comes from eleventhgrade students at the Islamic State Senior High School 4 Banyuwangi, while the secondary data is sourced from relevant documents related to the research. The analyses show the results of using the assessment tool that evaluates speaking skills, where students are classified into several categories including fluency, pronounciation, grammar and activity. The results indicate that students in the "very competent" category make up 36%, while the "competent" category constitutes 54%, and the "somewhat competent" category accounts for 10%. Therefore, there is a need for a genuine assessment of speaking skills in performance evaluation, which can assess linguistic elements without neglecting the contextual aspect by evaluating dialogues, assignments, presentations, and interviews that align with the topic of the text. The assessment model has been developed to encompass all aspects of evaluation, which consist of knowledge, language skills, and attitudes.

Abstract

In facing the development of the era and the increasingly complex needs of society, public organizations need to build an innovative culture so that they can be more responsive and adaptive. This article aims to describe the strategies and challenges in building an innovative culture in public organizations. The method used in this study is a library research by collecting data from various reading materials that are relevant to the topic and objectives of the study. The results of this study indicate that there are several strategies that can be carried out in building an innovative culture in public organizations, namely leadership that encourages innovation, a collaborative work environment and awards and incentives for innovation. In addition to strategies, there are also several challenges in building an innovative culture in public organizations including rigid bureaucracy, resistance to change and limited resources and support.

Abstract

Innovation in education has become a primary necessity in the current era of globalization and technology. One emerging innovative approach is neuroscience-based education, which integrates the understanding of brain mechanisms into the learning process. This study aims to examine the application of neuroscience principles, such as neuroplasticity and emotional engagement, in enhancing students' comprehension quality. The method used is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from various relevant academic sources and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings reveal that learning strategies emphasizing neuroplasticity principles and involving students' emotional aspects can improve information retention, learning motivation, and critical thinking skills. This approach also fosters the creation of a more supportive and adaptive learning environment tailored to students' needs. Therefore, neuroscience-based education can serve as a strategic innovation in developing effective and student-centered learning in the 21st century. Continuous training for educators and further empirical research are recommended to enrich the implementation of this approach across various educational contexts.

Abstract

Educational resource limitations in remote areas pose a crucial challenge to equitable education quality in Indonesia. This research examines the vital role of "Kuliah Kerja Nyata" (KKN) students (community service program) in addressing these issues, particularly at SD 08 Indudur, Koto IX Sungai Lasi District, Solok Regency. Through a participatory approach and in-depth observation, this study reveals how KKN students not only serve as substitute teachers but also as agents of change who inspire students, increase learning motivation, and help develop a more conducive learning environment. These findings underscore the immense potential of the KKN program as an innovative solution to improve education quality in areas in need, while also providing valuable experience for students in developing self-competence and a sense of social awareness. This research recommends the need to strengthen synergy between universities, local governments, and communities in designing and implementing more effective and sustainable KKN programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didorong oleh kebutuhan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS di era pendidikan abad ke-21 melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik yang inovatif. Sebagai mata pelajaran yang mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial, IPAS memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pembelajaran IPAS melalui pendekatan saintifik pada siswa kelas V SDIT Ar-Rissalah dengan menyoroti aspek perencanaan dan pelaksanaannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi nonpartisipan, wawancara mendalam dengan guru, dan analisis dokumen Modul Ajar. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk menggambarkan implementasi pendekatan saintifik secara komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran telah mengintegrasikan lima tahapan pendekatan saintifik—mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, menalar, dan mengomunikasikan—melalui metode seperti Think-Pair-Share, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada tahap inti berlangsung optimal, terutama melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap kegiatan ekonomi di lingkungan sekolah. Namun, terdapat kelemahan pada aspek evaluasi, di mana penilaian dilakukan secara subjektif dengan umpan balik verbal tanpa adanya rubrik terstruktur, serta strategi tindak lanjut berupa remedial dan pengayaan belum diimplementasikan secara eksplisit. Kesimpulannya, meskipun penerapan pendekatan saintifik telah mendukung proses pembelajaran IPAS, perbaikan pada sistem evaluasi dan pengembangan strategi remedial serta pengayaan diperlukan guna mencapai pencapaian kompetensi siswa yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Inclusive education provides opportunities for children with special needs (ABK) to learn together in the same school environment. In the context of early childhood education, the role of Special Assistant Teachers is very important in supporting the successful implementation of inclusive learning. This study aims to describe the role of Special Assistant Teachers at Viedu Inklusi Tembilahan Kindergarten in the learning process of children with special needs. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews and observations of classroom teachers and Special Assistant Teachers. The results of the study show that Special Assistant Teachers at Viedu Inklusi Tembilahan Kindergarten play the role of facilitators, companions, and mediators in the learning process. Special Assistant Teachers focus on providing stimulus in the aspects of fine motor, gross motor, and children's social skills. Special Assistant Teachers also set developmental indicators that are tailored to each child's abilities, as well as bridge communication between classroom teachers and parents. This strategic role supports the achievement of optimal development of children with special needs, while easing the burden on classroom teachers in the implementation of inclusive learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana model pembelajaran kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV dalam mata pelajaran IPA, khususnya pada materi perubahan wujud zat dan bentuk energi. Melalui pendekatan tindakan kelas dalam dua siklus, guru menerapkan model pembelajaran kolaboratif dengan integrasi modul ajar berbasis diskusi kelompok dan aktivitas langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa secara signifikan.
