Abstract

This ponder points to examine the impact of using Bima cultural folktales on improving storytelling skills among fourth-grade students at SDN Inpres Kambilo. The research was motivated by the students' low speaking ability in delivering stories coherently and expressively. The study applied a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 12 students as participants. Instruments included expert material validation questionnaires, teacher and student observations, and storytelling performance tests. The material validity reached a "very valid" level with a total score of 94%. The average student score increased from 35.42 (pretest) to 85.42 (posttest). A paired sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference after the intervention. These results suggest that integrating local culture-based stories such as Mpa’a Ntumbu Tuta and Wura Bongi Monca can serve as an effective teaching strategy to enhance storytelling skills and foster students’ appreciation of regional heritage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational financing system at SMP Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Plupuh and its impact on improving the quality of education. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the school's educational financing is sourced from the school committee, parental contributions, and grants from the foundation. Fund management is carried out transparently and accountably, with appropriate allocation toward operational needs and quality improvement efforts. Effective financial management significantly contributes to enhanced teaching quality, improved school facilities, and the professional development of educators. This study concludes that sound financial management is a key factor in enhancing the quality of education in private schools.

Abstract

Improving student attention and retention is an important aspect of learning in primary education. This study aims to examine neuroscience-based learning strategies that can improve student attention and memory. The method used is a literature review, examining various relevant journals, books, and recent scientific articles. The findings indicate that approaches such as multisensory learning, the use of mnemonic techniques, spaced repetition, and the integration of physical activities in learning are effective in supporting students' cognitive functions. These strategies align with theories of brain neuroplasticity, working memory theory, and the role of emotions in learning. Additionally, factors such as sleep quality and nutrition also play a significant role in supporting students' attention and retention abilities. These findings suggest that learning designed based on neuroscience principles can create a more effective and responsive learning environment tailored to students' needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media Flash Card Interaktif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SD. Penelitian pengembangan (R&D) ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Produk yang dikembangkan adalah media Flash Card Interaktif berbasis PowerPoint dengan elemen visual menarik dan fitur audio untuk mendukung pembelajaran membaca permulaan. Hasil validasi ahli materi menunjukkan persentase 86% dengan kategori "Sangat Layak", dan validasi ahli media menunjukkan 92% dengan kategori "Sangat Layak", mengindikasikan kesesuaian konten, desain, dan teknis media. Respons guru (92% "Sangat Praktis") dan peserta didik (93% "Sangat Praktis") menunjukkan kepraktisan media dalam pembelajaran. Uji coba produk menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa, dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,91. Berdasarkan kriteria N-gain, nilai ini termasuk dalam kategori "Tinggi", yang menunjukkan bahwa media Flash Card Interaktif sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SDN Inpres Buncu.

Abstract

The digitalization of teaching and learning management (KBM) has become a crucial strategy for enhancing the effectiveness and flexibility of education, particularly in elementary schools. This study explores the implementation of KBM digitalization at SDN Sambiroto, Kecamatan Kunduran, Kabupaten Blora, focusing on strategies, challenges, and the impact of technology on learning quality. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research examines the use of various digital platforms, such as Google Classroom, Quizizz, Canva, and Powtoon, to support the learning process. The findings indicate that KBM digitalization has improved student engagement and the efficiency of lesson delivery, aligning with the study by Gunawan et al. (2024) on the benefits of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in elementary education. However, key challenges remain, including teacher readiness, digital access inequality among students, and technological infrastructure limitations, as highlighted in studies by Santoso & Widodo (2024) and UNESCO Digital Learning Week (2025).To overcome these obstacles, SDN Sambiroto has implemented several strategies, such as teacher digital literacy training, hybrid learning development, and collaborations with educational and technology institutions to enhance digital accessibility for students. This study underscores that successful KBM digitalization heavily depends on educational policy support, teacher preparedness, and adequate technological infrastructure.The findings provide recommendations for educational institutions seeking to develop more effective, inclusive, and sustainable digital learning systems, ultimately contributing to the improvement of elementary education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Fraction puzzle media is one type of mathematics learning media. The problems in this study are: 1) How valid is puzzle learning media for fraction material in fourth grade elementary school? 2) How practical is puzzle learning media for fraction material in fourth grade elementary school? 3) How effective is puzzle learning media for fraction material in fourth grade elementary school? In this study, the type of research used is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. In this study, the validation techniques used are expert validation of media, material, and language. The data analysis technique in this study is from each data collected, consisting of analysis of the results of expert validation. This study yielded results from expert validation of media, content, and language, achieving a percentage of 93.33%, which is categorized as highly valid. From the practicality aspect, the results of the One-to-One pilot test questionnaire achieved a percentage of 93.33%, categorized as highly practical, and the Small Group pilot test achieved a percentage of 93.34%, also categorized as highly practical.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect in forming a generation of intelligent and characterful nation. One of the main elements in the implementation of education is the curriculum, which functions as a guide in the learning process. The Independent Curriculum provides freedom for schools and teachers to design learning according to students' needs. In this context, differentiated learning is a relevant approach to be implemented, especially in the subject of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). Differentiated learning provides learning experiences that are tailored to students' learning styles, interests, and readiness, and is able to improve social skills, understanding of Pancasila values, and student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated learning in the Independent Curriculum at SDN Meruya 01, especially in the subject of PPKn. The results of the study show that although differentiated learning has a positive impact on students' academic and social development, many teachers still experience difficulties in its implementation due to lack of understanding and training. Therefore, an appropriate learning strategy is needed, including differentiation of content, process, and product so that the implementation of differentiated learning can run effectively. This study contributes to understanding the importance of differentiated learning as part of the Independent Curriculum policy and provides recommendations for optimizing its implementation in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors causing low students' reading interest in the material Love My Indonesia in grade V SDN 125 Palembang. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that low reading interest is caused by two main factors, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include low reading comprehension skills and reading habits that are only done when there is an assignment from the teacher without any encouragement to read independently. Meanwhile, external factors include the school environment, literacy facilities such as libraries including low intensity of borrowing books and wall magazines, and the role of parents. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that increasing reading interest requires synergy between schools and families through the provision of adequate facilities, interesting literacy programs, and early reading habits

Abstract

His study aims to describe and determine the level of mathematical concept understanding ability of data presentation material in tables of grade III students of SD Negeri 01 Karang Melati. The subjects of this study were grade III students of SD Negeri 01 Karang Melati involving 12 students who were taken based on the criteria of very good, good, sufficient and less. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. In analyzing the data, this study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation of students' daily test results. From the results of the study and analysis, it can be seen that the mathematical concept understanding ability of grade III students of SD Negeri 01 Karang Melati on data presentation material in tables is divided into 4 categories, namely the indicator restating the concept that has been learned is included in the very good category, the indicator classifying objects based on whether or not the requirements that form the concept are met is included in the good category, the indicator applying concepts logically is included in the sufficient category and the indicator presenting concepts in various forms of mathematical representation (tables, graphs, diagrams, pictures, sketches, mathematical models or other methods) is included in the less category. At the end of the study, the results showed that students' mathematical concept understanding ability on data presentation material in tables was included in the fairly good category.

Abstract

Hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan peneliti di sekolah didapatkan bahwa 90% dari 22 peserta didik belum mampu membaca dengan lancar. Masih terdapat beberapa peserta didik yang belum mengenal huruf dan lambang bunyi, pelafalan bunyi huruf W dan Y yang sering tertukar serta kesulitan dalam pelafalan huruf yang berakhiran “ng” dan “ny”. Diperlukan inovasi yang dapat memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang ditemukan. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengembangkan media flashcard ber-QR code yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam membaca permulaan. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mengetahui prototipe, kevalidan, dan kepraktisan media flashcard ber- QR code untuk keterampilan membaca permulan peserta didik kelas I SD. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yakni ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu analyze (analisis), design (desain), develop (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni angket validasi ahli materi dan angket validasi ahli media untuk uji kevalidan produk, agket respon peserta didik dan angket respon guru untuk uji kepraktisan produk. Berdasarkan penilaian dari validator ahli materi mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase 90% dan ahli media mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase 96%. Hasil kepraktisan produk peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba kelompok besar, dan respon I orang guru klas I berturut-turut yakni 88,33%, 91,5%, dan 90% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan media flashcard ber- QR code sangat valid dan sangat praktis digunakan.
