Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the subjects of Job/Professional Profiles and Business Opportunities in the Field of Office Management and Business Services at SMK Negeri 1 Medan, as well as the limited use of artificial intelligence technology in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ChatGPT utilization in the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of tenth-grade students. The method used was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design, involving two classes: X MPLB 2 as the experimental group using ChatGPT-assisted PBL, and X MPLB 3 as the control group using conventional PBL. Data were obtained through pretest and posttest analyses using normality, homogeneity, t-test, and N-Gain tests. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental group was 89.26 with an N-Gain of 0.83 (high and effective category), while the control group scored 79.89 with an N-Gain of 0.67 (moderately effective category). Hypothesis testing showed a significant effect of ChatGPT utilization on improving student learning outcomes. Thus, the integration of ChatGPT in PBL was proven to increase learning effectiveness and help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to the digital workplace.

Abstract

This research was conducted at UPT SMPN 1 Makale Selatan and was motivated by the limited availability of digital teaching materials and printed books in the Informatics subject for Grade VIII, particularly on the Computer System topic. Although students have been permitted to use Android devices in the learning process, their utilization has not been optimal and is still limited to searching for additional information. The objectives of this study are: (1) to identify the needs for developing Android-based digital teaching materials, (2) to design Android-based digital teaching materials, and (3) to test the validity and practicality of Android-based digital teaching materials in the Informatics subject for Grade VIII. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Richey & Klein development model, which consists of three stages: Planning, Production, and Evaluation. The research subjects included media experts, material experts, teachers, and 29 students of Grade VIII A. The instruments used in this study were observation, interviews, and questionnaires for validity and practicality testing. The results showed that the Android-based digital teaching materials developed obtained a validity score of 91.25% from media experts (very valid) and 90% from material experts (very valid). The practicality test results reached 88.06% from students (very practical) and 87.5% from the teacher (very practical). Thus, it can be concluded that the Android-based digital teaching materials developed using the Kodular platform are valid, practical, and feasible to be used in teaching Informatics for Grade VIII at UPT SMPN 1 Makale Selatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Kriten Sangalla’. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk kebutuhan pengembangan LKPD berbasis digital terintegrasi kearifan lokal, desain pengembangan LKPD berbasis digital terintegrasi kearifan lokal, tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan LKPD terintegrasi kerarifan lokal. Model pengembangan yang dipakai yaitu model Model richey and klein yang meliputi tiga tahapan, yaitu memuat Planning (perencanaan), Production (produksi) yang memuat pembuatan LKPD terintegrasi kearifan lokal dengan dukungan teks, gambar, animasi. Evaluation (evaluasi), yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu PPE Planning (perencanaan), Production (produksi), evaluation (evaluasi). Hasil temuan masalah ditemukan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar masih belum dioptimalakan sedangakan fasiltas seperti koneksi internet sudah cukup memadai. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1). Bentuk penyajian LKPD yang dirancang disesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran, (2) desain pengembangan LKPD terintegrasi kearifan lokal hasilnya dalam bentuk link website. (3) LKPD terintegrasi kearifan lokal ini termasuk kedalam kateori “sangat valid” dengan nilai persentase 88,23% dari ahli media, dan 83,75% pada kategori “sangat valid” pada penilaian ahli materi serta multimedia pembelajaran interaktif terintegrasi evaluasi termasuk kedalam kateori “sangat praktis” berdasarkan penilaian kepraktisan guru 87,5%, dan penilaian kepraktisan oleh siswa 81,62% sehingga multimedia pembelaajran interaktif terintegrassi evaluasi ini dinyatakan sangat praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

At the Muhammadiyah Kepong Learning Center in Malaysia, the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach was used in this project to improve students' understanding and motivation to learn. This two-cycle study employed a descriptive qualitative approach and Classroom Action Research (CAR) techniques. Twenty sixth-grade students served as subjects. Tests, questionnaires, interviews, and observations were all used as data collection methods. Based on the results, students' understanding of learning increased from an average of 65.5 in cycle I to 78.2 in cycle II when the CTL strategy was used. From a sufficient category (2.3) in cycle I to a high category (3.1) in cycle II, students' enthusiasm for learning also increased. Between cycles I and II, learning completion increased from 60% to 85%. Students' active engagement in the learning process increased and learning became more relevant when learning materials were connected to their real-world experiences through the use of the CTL method.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how the concept of tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul) can influence the academic achievement of elementary school students. In Islamic teachings, tazkiyatun nafs is a fundamental principle that emphasizes spiritual and moral development from an early age. This research employs a qualitative approach and uses a case study method focused on fifth-grade students at SD Islam Assalam. Data were collected through direct classroom observations, in-depth interviews with Islamic Education teachers, and documentation of students’ academic scores. The findings reveal that the implementation of tazkiyatun nafs values in the teaching and learning process such as self-control, honesty, discipline, and patience positively impacts students’ learning motivation and academic performance. In other words, integrating spiritual values into primary education not only helps shape students' character but also significantly supports their academic achievement.

Abstract

This research os motivates by the problems found in SLB 1 Bukittinggi namely a class X SMALB intellectual disability student whose achievement in culluary vocational skills is not optimal. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of scrapbook media in optimizing culinary vocational skills in students eith intellectual disabilities. This study uses an experimental method eith a single subject research approach by implementing an A-B-A design. Data analysis is carried out with a visual approach presented through graphics, and techniques in data collection through observation accompanied by practice. Data obtained from the analysis of 12 meetings devided into 3 phases, namely basaline (A1), intervention (B), end basaline (A2). The results of this study in the (A1) basaline phase obtained a percentage of 41% rith 3 meetings. Furthermore , durinf the intervention phase there wa an increase in ability with a percentage of 61%, 83%, 85% 90% 90% 90% with 6 meetings after which the intervanetion was stopped. Followe by basaline (A2) whict yielded a 100% percentage result in there obersations. Thus, it cam be councluded that scarpbokk media can provide a positive contribution to improvinf the abilities of students with intellectual disabilities in learning culinary vocational skills.

Abstract

This research was conducted to address the low conceptual understanding of fifth grade students in IPAS subject at SDN 67 Rabantala, Kota Bima. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach in the Merdeka Curriculum on students’ conceptual understanding. The method used was a quasi-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 23 fifth grade students selected through saturated sampling. The research instrument consisted of a multiple-choice test with 15 items that had been tested for validity and reliability, and an observation sheet for the implementation of CTL. Data were collected through pretest and posttest, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality test, and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS 24. The results showed an increase in the average score from 58.26 in the pretest to 83.04 in the posttest. The number of students achieving the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) increased from 30% to 91%. The results of the paired sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there was a significant difference in students’ conceptual understanding before and after the application of CTL. Thus, CTL is proven to be effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding in IPAS learning.

Abstract

The purpose of the researcher in making this thesis is to answer the formulation of the problem in the study, namely the problem in this study is "Is There an Effect of Boy-boyan Games on Increasing Interest in Learning Soccer in Female Students of Class VII of SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan?" The problem of this study is the lack of interest in playing in female students so that the female students are lazy, less enthusiastic, feel unhappy and less confident when participating in soccer learning, especially when doing basic movement skills, this study is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental method and using one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used are questionnaires and Likert scales. There are three stages in this study, namely pretest, treatment and posttest. Treatment was carried out 4 times. From the results of the pretest and posttest, an increase was obtained from the initial average of 3.96, a significant value was obtained from the pretest results of 0.096 while the posttest value of 0.740 from these results it is said that both are normally distributed because the significant value is more than 5% or from 0.05.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to understand the structure and linguistic rules of writing negotiation texts. Students perceive writing as a rather boring subject. The objective of this study is to describe the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model on the negotiation text writing skills of Phase E students at SMA Negeri 3 Padang. This quantitative research used an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population was all Phase E students at SMA Negeri 3 Padang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample was grade E1 students. The instrument used in this study was a performance test. The data were scores from the negotiation text writing performance test before and after using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model. The results of this study. First, the negotiation text writing skills before using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model of phase E students of SMA Negeri 3 Padang were at a mastery level of 66-75% with more than sufficient qualifications by obtaining an average of 70.60. The weaknesses of students before using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model were in the text structure indicators and language rules of the negotiation text. Second, the negotiation text writing skills after using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model of Phase E students of SMA Negeri 3 Padang were at a mastery level of 86-95% with very good qualifications by obtaining an average value of 87.27. In the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model, the mastery of the structure indicators and language rules of the negotiation text was good. Third, the use of negotiation texts had a significant influence of 95% with dk-n-1 because < (95.1> 1.70). The Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model significantly influences negotiation text writing skills because the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model is a cooperative learning model that involves students in small groups to learn to read and write in an integrated manner.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memunculkan berbagai bentuk tindak pidana baru, salah satunya adalah penyebaran konten ilegal berupa hoaks yang berpotensi menyesatkan publik dan mengganggu ketertiban umum. Pendekatan hukum yang bersifat retributif dinilai kurang efektif dalam menangani perkara semacam ini secara substantif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan keadilan restoratif (restorative justice) oleh kepolisian dalam penyelesaian tindak pidana hoaks, berdasarkan Peraturan Kepolisian Republik Indonesia Nomor 8 Tahun 2021. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen terhadap beberapa perkara hoaks yang diselesaikan secara restoratif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini mampu memberikan alternatif penyelesaian yang cepat, partisipatif, dan berorientasi pada pemulihan sosial, asalkan seluruh persyaratan formil dan materiil terpenuhi. Analisis menggunakan teori sistem hukum Lawrence M. Friedman menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan penerapan keadilan restoratif sangat bergantung pada keselarasan antara struktur hukum (lembaga kepolisian), substansi hukum (kerangka normatif Perkapolri), dan budaya hukum (penerimaan masyarakat). Artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas aparat, pengawasan pelaksanaan, dan edukasi publik sebagai langkah strategis dalam optimalisasi restorative justice pada perkara siber.
