Abstract

The study aims to determine the impact of concrete mediaon the mathematical abilities of sixth-grade students with special needs at SDN 117 Pekanbaru. The focus of this research is how concrete media can help improve mathematical abilities in the areas of conceptual understanding, problem-solving, reasoning, and mathematical communication. This is a qualitative research using a case study method. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants concisted of two individuals: a sixth-grades student with special needs identified as a slow learner and the homeroom teacher of the student with special needs. this research was conducted from late July to early August 2025. The results of this study indicate that the use of concrete media has a positive impact on students' mathematical abilities. Concrete media has been shown to facilitate students with special needs in understanding the concept of whole numbers, helping them find problem-solving strategies, developing logical thinking patterns, and improving simple mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Madiun City produces approximately 45,000 tons of waste per year, most of which ends up in the Winongo Final Disposal Site (TPA), while a small portion is processed through the community-based waste bank program. Waste banks play a role in reducing waste generation while providing economic value to the community through waste sorting and recycling. This study aims to analyze the effect of community participation on the sustainability of the Mojo Makmur Waste Bank in Mojorejo Subdistrict, Madiun City. The study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 10 waste bank members, data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that community participation through economic benefits, social factors & motivation, and environmental knowledge & education significantly affects the sustainability of the waste bank with an R² of 0.892. In conclusion, active involvement of the community is a key factor in ensuring the sustainability of the Mojo Makmur Waste Bank in Mojorejo Subdistrict, Madiun City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai taqarrub ilallah (pendekatan diri kepada Allah) dalam pemikiran Abu Abdurrahman As-Sulami, seorang tokoh sufi abad ke-4 Hijriah yang dikenal melalui karya-karya monumental seperti Ṭabaqāt al-Ṣūfiyyah, Ādāb al-Ṣuḥbah, dan Zuhd al-Ṣūfiyyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) terhadap teks-teks klasik tasawuf As-Sulami. Data diperoleh melalui studi pustaka dengan tahapan pengumpulan, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi makna spiritual yang terkandung dalam karya-karyanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep taqarrub menurut As-Sulami dibangun atas lima nilai utama, yaitu ikhlas, zuhud, mujahadah, muraqabah, dan tawakal. Nilai-nilai tersebut mencerminkan proses penyucian jiwa (tazkiyatun nafs) dan pembentukan kedekatan eksistensial dengan Allah SWT. Selain itu, pemikiran As-Sulami memiliki relevansi signifikan terhadap penguatan pendidikan spiritual Islam di era modern, khususnya dalam pembinaan karakter religius dan kesadaran transendental umat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa taqarrub dalam perspektif As-Sulami bukan hanya dimensi ritual, tetapi merupakan jalan penyempurnaan diri menuju ma’rifatullah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan manajemen risiko K3 pada perkebunan kelapa sawit di Pekanbaru dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan manajemen dan pekerja, serta analisis dokumen perusahaan. Teknik analisis menggunakan metode Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) untuk mengidentifikasi bahaya, menilai tingkat risiko, serta mengevaluasi efektivitas pengendalian yang diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan telah menerapkan program K3 melalui penyediaan alat pelindung diri (APD), pelatihan keselamatan kerja, dan penyusunan standar operasional prosedur (SOP). Namun, masih terdapat kelemahan berupa rendahnya kepatuhan pekerja dalam penggunaan APD, keterbatasan pengawasan di lapangan, serta belum optimalnya evaluasi risiko secara berkala. Analisis HIRARC memperlihatkan bahwa beberapa aktivitas kerja memiliki tingkat risiko sedang hingga tinggi, terutama pada kegiatan pemanenan dan penyemprotan pestisida. Kesimpulannya, manajemen risiko K3 di perkebunan kelapa sawit di Pekanbaru sudah berjalan tetapi masih memerlukan penguatan dalam aspek pengawasan, budaya keselamatan, dan monitoring berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah peningkatan pelatihan pekerja, pengadaan APD yang sesuai standar, serta penerapan audit K3 secara berkala untuk menekan potensi kecelakaan kerja dan meningkatkan produktivitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang faktor-faktor penyebab rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI SMAN 2 Rambatan pada mata pelajaran geografi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya motivasi belajar, baik dari aspek intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik, yang mempengaruhi keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan pencapaian hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI dan guru mata pelajaran geografi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui teknik triangulasi sumber untuk memastikan validitas informasi yang dikumpulkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Geografi di SMAN 2 Rambatan disebabkan oleh kombinasi faktor intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Faktor intrinsik meliputi rendahnya minat serta rasa ingin tahu terhadap Geografi dan kurangnya tujuan belajar jangka panjang siswa, sementara faktor ekstrinsik lebih dominan, seperti metode pengajaran yang monoton, suasana kelas yang tidak kondusif, minimalnya penghargaan, serta pengaruh teman sebaya. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa meskipun faktor dalam diri siswa ikut serta, rendahnya motivasi belajar geografi lebih banyak disebabkan oleh faktor eksternal yang kurang mendukung. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan motivasi belajar memerlukan sinergi antara perbaikan faktor eksternal melalui inovasi strategi pembelajaran interaktif dan penguatan faktor internal melalui pelatihan minat serta tujuan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran sejarah akulturasi budaya siswa kelas X MA Bustanul Ulum 03 Puger. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek guru sejarah dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk memperkuat data aktivitas siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan PjBL, digunakan pula analisis deskriptif kuantitatif sederhana dengan rumus persentase menurut (Arikunto, 2014).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PjBL meningkatkan aktivitas siswa pada aspek bertanya, berdiskusi, bekerja sama, dan antusiasme. Melalui proyek, siswa mampu memahami bentuk-bentuk akulturasi budaya seperti masjid peninggalan abad ke-18, upacara petik laut, seni hadrah, dan makam kuno wali, meskipun pembelajaran dilakukan melalui media gambar dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dengan guru dan siswa juga menguatkan bahwa PjBL menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik, meskipun masih terdapat kendala waktu dan fasilitas. Analisis persentase memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan keterlibatan siswa lebih dari 40% setelah penerapan PjBL.Dengan demikian, implementasi PjBL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sejarah akulturasi budaya sekaligus mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze, (1) The role of the community in managing flood disasters in Koto Tangah District, Padang City, (2) The role of the government in managing flood disasters in Koto Tangah District, Padang City, (3) The effectiveness of the role of the community and government in managing flood disasters in Koto Tangah District, Padang City. The methods used are quantitative and qualitative with field observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation approaches. The research results show that the community's role in flood disaster management is in the good category, carried out through involvement in mutual cooperation activities, community preparedness and participation in government programs. Meanwhile, the government's role is in the quite good category, through providing flood management infrastructure, disaster outreach, and distributing aid when floods occur.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of employee relations (ER) in empowering the communication competence of customer experience officers (CXO) at PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, Juanda Bekasi Sub-Branch Office. The main focus of this research is on how employee relations (ER) activities support the enhancement of interpersonal communication skills, which are essential in maintaining the quality of digital banking services. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with employee relations (ER) supervisors, customer experience officers (CXO), and customers. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that employee relations (ER) significantly contribute to improving the confidence, mental readiness, empathy, and communication skills of customer experience officers (CXO). The positive impact of these activities is not only experienced by employees internally but also perceived by customers through more friendly, humanistic, and professional services. Therefore, employee relations (ER) can be positioned as a strategic partner in supporting the success of digital banking services while simultaneously strengthening the company’s positive image in the public eye.

Abstract

This study aims to produce valid, practical, and effective serial card media to increase students' interest in reading. The research method uses the development model EDDIE. The subjects of the study were 22 third-grade elementary school students and the object of the study was serial card media in Indonesian language learning on short story material. Data collection instruments were material expert questionnaires, media expert questionnaires, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, reading interest questionnaires, and pretest-posttest. Data analysis techniques were data descriptions and percentages. The validation results by material experts obtained 95%, media experts 100%, and evaluation experts 89.28% with a very valid category. The practicality test showed that the serial card media was very practical to use by students and teachers with a practicality score of 91.25% from student responses and 94.23% from teacher responses. The effectiveness of the media was demonstrated through an increase in students' reading ability with an N-Gain value of 0.64 in trial I to 0.67 in trial II. The increase in students' reading interest in trial I was 65% before learning, then increased to 85% after learning. Furthermore, in trial II, students' reading interest before learning was 71%, and increased to 94.5% after learning. This indicates that the serial card media is valid, practical, and effective and can increase students' reading interest.

Mar’atul Arfiah, 2025. The Application of Flipbook Media with the TaRL Model to Improve Reading Literacy of Grade I Students at SD Inpres Kampung Mejang, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. Undergraduate Thesis, Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervisor I: Aliem Bahri, Supervisor II: Anin Asnidar. The problem in this research is the low reading achievement of Grade I students at SD Inpres Kampung Mejang, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This study aims to determine whether the use of Flipbook media with the TaRL model can improve the reading literacy of Grade I students at SD Inpres Kampung Mejang, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of three meetings. Each cycle went through four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 33 Grade I students at SD Inpres Kampung Mejang. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique applied was descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the analysis of test results in Cycle I, out of 33 students, only 11 students (33.3%) achieved mastery, while 22 students (66.6%) were still in the non-mastery category. This shows that the majority of students had not yet reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). In Cycle II, out of 33 students, 31 students (93.9%) achieved mastery, while only 2 students (6%) were still in the non-mastery category. These results indicate that most students successfully met the minimum mastery standard, proving that learning in Cycle II was effective and significantly improved students’ learning outcomes.The conclusion of this study is that the application of Flipbook media with the TaRL model can improve the reading literacy of Grade I students at SD Inpres Kampung Mejang, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency.
