Abstract

ABSTRACT Nur Afni, 2025. Implementation of the Time Token Learning Model to Improve Science Learning Motivation of Fourth-Grade Students at SDN 166 Tangru. Thesis. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mega Rezky University, (supervised by: Abdul Malik Iskandar and Cayati) This study aims to improve student learning motivation through the application of the Time Token Learning Model to improve fourth-grade students at SDN 166 Tangru. To achieve this goal, the approach used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection was conducted through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using techniques including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that teacher activities during learning using the Time Token Learning Model to improve student learning motivation experienced significant improvements from Cycle I to Cycle II. The results of observations of student learning motivation increased to 27.78% in Cycle I, meeting one, and then increased again to 55.56% in Cycle I, meeting two. In the first meeting of cycle II, 72.22% of students were able to meet all the learning motivation indicator criteria. In the second meeting of cycle II, 88.89% of students met all the learning motivation indicator criteria. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the students' motivation to learn science at SDN 166 Tangru has increased. Therefore, the time token learning model can be considered an effective and efficient learning model for increasing student learning motivation. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the interactive slide-based learning media "BEJUBEL" (Belajar Jual Beli), which incorporates South Sumatera’s local wisdom, in improving the learning achievement of IVth grade students on buying and selling material at SD Negeri 239 Palembang. BEJUBEL is designed to enhance students' interest, motivation, and understanding of buying and selling topics that are closely related to everyday economic activities. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with a quasi-experimental design. Class IV.A as the control group, received conventional instruction without any specialized media, while Class IV.B, as the experimental group, used BEJUBEL media within a cooperative learning model. Data were collected through pretests and posttests in the form of multiple-choice questions. Data analysis was conducted using the t-test after normality and homogeneity tests were met. The study results show a significant difference in learning improvement between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05), with students in the experimental group experiencing greater learning gains than those in the control group. The findings indicate that BEJUBEL media effectively enhances students' achievement and understanding of the buying and selling material. It can also serve as a valuable reference for teachers in developing technology-based learning media to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self-efficacy, potensi diri, kondisi ekonomi orang tua, dan lingkungan sosial terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XII Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Benai, secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Benai yang berjumlah 63 siswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode total sampling dengan jumlah seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel, serta data dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Self-Efficacy berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XII Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Benai. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien sebesar -0.295. Nilai koefisien dinyatakan signifikan karena nilai thitung sebesar -2.354 > ttabel sebesar 1.671 dengan nilai signifikan 0.022 < α = 0.05. 2) Potensi diri berpengaruh sigifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XII Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Benai. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien sebesar 0.338. Nilai Koefisien dinyatakan signifikan karena nilai thitung sebesar 4.403 > ttabel sebesar 1.671 dengan nilai signifikan 0.000 < α = 0.05. 3) Kondisi ekonomi orang tua berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XII Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Benai. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien sebesar 0.638. Nilai koefsien dinyatakan signifikan karena nilai thitung sebesar 4.155 > ttabel sebesar 1.671 dengan nilai signifikan 0.000 < α = 0.05. 4) Lingkungan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XII Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Benai. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien sebesar -0.330. Nilai koefisien dinyatakan signifikan karena nilai thitung sebesar -2.350 > ttabel sebesar 1.671 dengan nilai signifikan 0.022 < α = 0.05. 5) Self-efficacy, potensi diri, kondisi ekonomi orang tua dan lingkungan sosial secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XII Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Benai. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 10.820 > Ftabel 2.53 dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a diagnostic test instrument in the form of a two-tier multiple choice (TTMC) test based on Google Form to assess students’ understanding of prerequisite material in high school History subjects. The research employed a research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. The research subjects were Grade XI History teachers and students at the senior high school level. Data were collected through literature review, interviews, expert validation, and field trials conducted on two different scales. The instrument was validated by five experts and empirically tested using the Rasch model. The results indicated that 20 test items were valid and reliable, with an Aiken’s V coefficient of 0.90 and a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.83 (large-scale). The item difficulty and discrimination indices showed an ideal distribution. This instrument is capable of mapping students’ prerequisite knowledge profiles in detail and offers a practical solution to support formative assessment in alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Pre-reading skills are the initial skills in recognizing letter symbols, understanding the relationship between sounds and letters, and building a foundation for literacy before children learn to read formally. Introducing reading for early childhood requires a fun and engaging method to understand the letters, numbers, or symbols being presented. An educator can use many methods to develop aspects of early childhood language development so that children do not get bored easily. Based on initial observations conducted by researchers at SPS Dahlia 79 Kalisat-Jember, some children still have difficulty recognizing the alphabet and numbers, distinguishing initial sounds, and are less interested in activities related to reading. This phenomenon emerged during the learning process in class, where when the teacher sang the alphabet symbols "ABCDEFG", students were interested in following until the end of the song. However, when the teacher sequenced the letters manually (without using songs or notes), what happened was that students felt confused by the symbols rather than the alphabet itself. Teachers in early childhood education, especially at SPS Dahlia 79 Kalisat-Jember, need to use a fun and character-appropriate approach to develop pre-reading skills indirectly and naturally. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) where according to classroom action research it can be defined as a form of scientific and methodical study or activity carried out by teachers/researchers in the classroom using actions to improve the learning process and outcomes. The population in this study were Early Childhood (both boys and girls) at SPS Dahlia 79 in Kalisat District. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively (percentage of completion per cycle). In cycle I, the achievement of pre-reading skills of children aged 4–5 years at SPS Dahlia 79 was still limited: only 27% (4 out of 15) children were in the Very Well Developing category, the rest were in Developing According to Expectations (20%), Starting to Develop (47%), and Not Yet Developing (7%). Children generally cannot name 10 letters correctly, matching letters to pictures, and constructing simple syllables independently. Obstacles identified included low media interest, minimal active practice, and a lack of individual support. Meanwhile, in cycle II, results showed that 80% of children (12) achieved the Very Good Development category and 20% achieved Development as Expected, with none in the bottom two categories. Children were more confident, active, and able to name letters, match them to pictures, and construct syllables such as "IBU," "UBI," and "ABI" independently.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of the dakon game using natural media on the social and emotional development of early childhood children at KB Lativiyah. The background of this study is the emergence of social and emotional problems in children, such as difficulty in collaboration, lack of self-confidence, irritability, and reluctance to interact with peers. The dakon game, as a traditional game, was chosen because it contains educational values that can stimulate social skills and manage children's emotions in a natural and fun way. This study adopted a quantitative approach with an experimental design of one group pretest-posttest design. The study population consisted of 25 male and female students at KB Lativiyah, with a purposive sampling technique of 12 children taken. Dana P. Turner (2020) stated that purposive sampling is used when researchers want to focus on individuals who have certain characteristics relevant to the research interest. Data collection was carried out by observing social and emotional development compiled based on the STTPA indicators in Permendikbudristek No. 17 of 2023. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test due to the ordinal scale of the data. In this way, the dakon game using natural media can be a good alternative learning strategy to stimulate the social and emotional development of early childhood. This study recommends that early childhood education teachers more routinely use traditional games as elements of relevant and meaningful learning. This study produced outputs in the form of increased understanding and concrete evidence regarding the effectiveness of the traditional dakon game made from natural materials as a means to stimulate the social and emotional development of early childhood. Using quantitative methods and a pretest-posttest design, this study revealed that the dakon game can improve several important aspects of children's social and emotional development, such as collaboration, sharing, waiting for turns, and recognizing and managing emotions in a positive way. The dakon game, which utilizes natural materials such as wood and seeds, also provides educational value and fosters a love of the environment. In addition, the practical results of this study are a guide to implementing the dakon game in early childhood education environments, which can be used by teachers as a thematic learning option rooted in local culture. The results of this study are expected to be used by early childhood education institutions to design contextual learning models that are fun, affordable, and support the achievement of development according to the STTPA (Standard Level of Child Development Achievement) indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh adhocracy culture dan supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap employee performance, dengan kompetensi guru sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Semarang Utara dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 120 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adhocracy culture berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi guru dan employee performance. Supervisi kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi guru, tetapi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee performance. Sementara itu, kompetensi guru terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa budaya kerja yang inovatif dan adaptif serta penguatan kompetensi guru menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Adapun supervisi perlu diarahkan secara lebih konstruktif agar dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap kinerja guru secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) how is the interest in reading, 2) how is the skill of writing narrative essays, and 3) how big is the relationship between interest in reading and the skill of writing narrative essays of fourth grade students at SDN 92 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative with a correlational research design. The population in this study were fourth grade students of SDN 92 Singkawang. In this study there were 28 students used as research samples. Data collection techniques used non-test techniques and test techniques. Data were analyzed using a correlation test with a level of 0.05 and looked for variable contributions. The results of the study showed that 1) interest in reading, 2) skills in writing narrative essays, and 3) the relationship between interest in reading and students' skills in writing narrative essays there is a significant relationship (correlation) between interest in reading and students' skills in writing narrative essays. With a correlation coefficient of 0.415 which means it has a moderate relationship based on the correlation level. Interest in reading has a contribution of 17%. The implications of this study indicate that there needs to be an effort to increase students' interest in reading so that it can have a positive impact on narrative essay writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model in breaststroke swimming learning for students at SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok. This study uses an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The research design used is Pre-Experimental Design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was selected using a systematic sampling technique. The instrument used was a breaststroke swimming ability test given before and after treatment. The pretest results showed an average value of 42.11, while the posttest results increased to 62,62. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a paired sample t-test, and a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05. (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) is accepted. These results indicate that the Problem Based Learning model has a significant effect on improving students' breaststroke swimming ability.

Abstract

The Border Crossings of Indonesia (PLBN) Skouw is one of the main gateways of Indonesia that shares a direct border with Papua New Guinea. To uphold the functions of supervision and maintain national security, the Directorate General of Immigration implements the Border Control Management (BCM) system as the primary instrument in immigration checks. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of BCM usage at PLBN Skouw in the context of immigration functions, namely the supervision of foreigners and guarding against cross-border threats. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a documentary study approach and regulatory analysis, supported by secondary data from relevant agency reports. The research results show that the BCM system has supported the efficiency of the inspection and monitoring process of border crossers through the integration of biometric data and facial recognition systems. However, challenges were found in network infrastructure, human resource readiness, as well as the use of unofficial routes by local communities. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance technical capacity, socialize with border communities, and strengthen inter-agency synergy in order to optimize the function of BCM as the main instrument for monitoring and protecting national sovereignty.
