Abstract

Basic education plays a strategic role as the initial foundation in forming students' identity, moral character, and literacy and numeracy skills. This study was conducted to examine whether integrated learning has an impact on the learning achievement of fifth grade students at SD Inpres Naimata, Kupang City. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, which will describe in detail all aspects that are the focus of the research. Data collection was carried out through observation, question and answer, and distributing questionnaires. From the results of the study, it was revealed that the implementation of integrated learning had a positive effect on increasing student learning achievement

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca pemahaman merupakan keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki siswa sekolah dasar untuk menunjang keberhasilan belajar di berbagai mata pelajaran. Namun, hasil observasi dan tes tertulis di SDN Rawa Badak Utara 03 menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas III masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami isi bacaan, menentukan ide pokok, dan mengungkapkan pendapat pribadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & McTaggart dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas III, yang terdiri atas 18 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa, yaitu pada siklus I sebanyak 19 siswa (59,37%) mencapai ketuntasan, dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 28 siswa (87,5%). Dengan demikian, penerapan model CIRC terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas III.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of art principles in the painting works of fifth-grade students at SDN Cikuda using the finger painting technique, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors during the process. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of students' artwork. The findings reveal that most students were able to apply the principles of unity, balance, and dominance quite well. This is evident in the harmonious visual composition, the prominent placement of main objects, and the visual balance among elements. However, the principles of rhythm, harmony, and proportion were not yet fully mastered. Supporting factors include students’ enthusiasm, engaging teaching methods, and active guidance from the teacher. Meanwhile, the main challenges encountered were limited materials, short instructional time, and the students’ developing understanding of visual structure. Overall, the finger painting technique proved to be an effective art learning medium at the elementary level as it provides a free, enjoyable, and educational form of expression. It is recommended that art learning be further optimized through varied visual approaches and consistent practice to enhance students’ artistic understanding and skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' needs for technology-based learning media at SMAN 11 Bulukumba as a foundation for developing interactive tools such as Edpuzzle and Baamboozle. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including classroom observation, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires distributed to Grade XI students. The results indicate that the majority of students are not yet accustomed to using interactive media; however, they demonstrate strong enthusiasm for technology-integrated learning. Students expressed a preference for learning media that support interactive features, independent access, and the presentation of content that is engaging, contextual, and relevant to their needs. These findings highlight the importance of developing technology-based learning media that are adaptive, participatory, and aligned with students’ characteristics and learning preferences.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurship education, family support, school environment, and organizational experience on students' interest in entrepreneurship at Bhinneka PGRI University. This research uses a quantitative approach with associative methods. The sample consists of final semester students selected through proportional sampling techniques. Data was collected via questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results show that simultaneously the variables of entrepreneurship education, family support, school environment, and organizational experience have a significant effect on students' entrepreneurial interest. However, partially only entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect, while family support, school environment and organizational experience do not show a significant effect. These findings reinforce the importance of education in encouraging students' entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SDN Sidomulyo 2 Tuban on the subject of cultural and religious differences through the use of pop-up books. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement in learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II, both in terms of grades and student and teacher activities. The pop-up book medium has proven to make learning more engaging and effective.

Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology presents both challenges and opportunities in the field of education. This report presents the outcomes of a community service activity conducted by lecturers and student-teachers from the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Program at Universitas Negeri Malang through an educational talk show at SMA Negeri 8 Malang. The initiative aimed to improve digital literacy among students and teachers regarding the ethical and responsible use of AI. The talk show involved students, teachers, and student council members (OSIS), and featured expert speakers who discussed the fundamentals of AI, its applications, and associated risks such as technological dependency and academic plagiarism. The activity led to increased awareness of the benefits and challenges of AI, as well as the importance of academic integrity and character in its use. The school responded positively by establishing an AI Literacy Team, organizing teacher workshops, and launching the campaign “Smart AI, Not Instant AI.” This program serves as a model for promoting an adaptive and ethical digital culture within secondary education.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve students' learning outcomes and critical thinking skills through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by concrete lapbook media. The study was conducted in Grade II at SDN 01 Nambangan Kidul using a mixed-methods approach. The results showed a significant increase in student engagement and learning outcomes, as evidenced by evaluation and observation data. Student activity reached 72.37% and teacher activity 76.14%, with 83.33% of students achieving learning mastery, while three students did not meet the criteria. Following improvements in the subsequent stage, student activity rose to 90.79% and teacher activity to 94.32%, with all students achieving complete mastery. The PBL model supported by lapbook media has proven effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills and environmental awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability to recognize the setting of a short story through the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative learning method. This research is based on initial observations indicating that students' literacy skills are still low, particularly in identifying elements of a short story's setting. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of two cycles encompassing four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 18 fourth-grade students at SDN Klitik 1, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, written tests (pretest and posttest), and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Jigsaw method increased student engagement in the learning process and their understanding of the elements of a short story's setting. This is evident in the increase in students' average grades from the pre-action stage to the post-action stage, as well as the achievement of learning mastery in class. From these findings, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has proven effective in improving students' ability to identify the setting of a short story at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low intensive listening skills of grade 3 students. This study aims to improve the intensive listening skills of third-grade students at SDN 001 Langgini. The research was conducted as a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was carried out in two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The subjects in this research were all 13 students of grade 3.Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and tests. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used was a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on the results of the research conducted over 2 cycles, in the first meeting of Cycle I, there were 7 students who achieved the minimum completion criteria, with a percentage of 54% and an average score of 72. In the second meeting, the number increased to 8 students or 62%, with an average score of 76. In Cycle II, during the first meeting, 10 students (77%) achieved completion with an average score of 81. This increased in the second meeting to 11 students or 85%, with an average score of 82. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Script Cooperative Learning Model can improve the intensive listening skills of grade 3 students at SDN 001 Langgini.
