Abstract

Management of an educational unit is an activity related to planning, organizing, implementing and supervising an educational unit so that management can run effectively and efficiently and to achieve the goals of education. This research aims to determine the basic concepts of educational unit management. The method used in this research is a literature study with data sources coming from reference books, journals, archives, documents, as well as previous research that is relevant to the topic being discussed. The results of this research are that the basic concept of education management must pay attention to various things, starting from the objectives and functions of management, objects in management, elements of management, as well as the scope of management of the educational unit itself. Education unit management has a broad scope, where management occurs from inside to outside the school. So it can be concluded that the management of educational units must pay attention to all these aspects so that management can run effectively, efficiently, and achieve the goals of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk analisis pengaruh pemanfaatan fingerprint terhadap peningkatan kedisiplinan pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda Dan Olahraga Kab. Penajam Paser Utara Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah pegawai dinas dan diambil sampel sebanyak 38 orang sebagai responden. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Tehnik pengujian menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik dan uji Analisis Regresi yang didalamnya terdapat hasil uji t dan koefesien determinasi. Berdasarkan dari hasil uji t pada tabel didapat nilai thitung pada variabel pemanfaatan fingerprint terhadap kedisiplinan sebesar 17,177 dan nilai signifikansinya 0,000. Maka nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sedangkan perbandingan antara thitung dengan ttabel yaitu 17,177 > 2,026. Hal ini menunjukkan tingkat signifikansi lebih kecil dan juga perbandingan antara thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel dan bernilai positif, yang berarti pemanfaatan fingerprint berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan pegawai. Dan hasil uji koefesien determinasi di peroleh adjusted R2 ( R Squer) sebesar 0,888 atau 88,8 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa persentase pengaruh pemanfaatan fingerprint terhadap kedisiplinan pegawai sebesar 88,8 %. Sedangkan 11,2 % sisanya di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain

Abstract

The aim of this research on "Political Marketing Trends and Strategies in the Digital Era: A Literature Study" includes several important aspects aimed at understanding and analyzing political marketing practices in the context of digital technology. This type of research is a literature study which involves searching and analyzing relevant theoretical references from various sources such as books, scientific articles, research reports, journals and previous studies. The study results show that in the current digital era, political marketing strategies have evolved to become more complex and innovative by utilizing social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to not only spread campaign messages widely, but also to interact directly with voters, getting direct feedback, and build a more personal relationship. Analytics and big data technology also play a key role in identifying potential voter segments and tailoring campaign messages according to their preferences and behavior. However, challenges such as the spread of fake news and disinformation highlight the need for an honest approach, integrity and transparency in political practice. Overall, the digital era brings great potential for innovation in political marketing by creating a more engaged and relevant experience for voters, while addressing challenges such as the use of algorithms and big data technology. Literature studies on political marketing trends and strategies in the digital era, especially in the context of school education, emphasize the importance of preparing the younger generation with the necessary technological skills and developing critical political awareness. This kind of education is key to increasing participation in a democratic process that is increasingly digitally connected and facing new dynamics in political marketing strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to develop E-LKPD based on creative problem solving assisted by liveworksheets of material changes in the form of objects to increase student creativity that is valid, practical and effective. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research. This research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The validity analysis conducted by three experts, namely material experts, media experts, and linguists with an average score of 94.8% of the category was very valid. The analysis of practicality in students through the individual trial stage and the small group trial stage obtained an average score of 90.7% of the very valid category. The analysis of effectiveness to students in one class consisting of 36 people as a large group obtained an average N Gain score of 0.76 in the category was very effective. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of E-LKPD based on creative problem solving assisted by liveworksheets is declared valid, practical, and effective in helping the learning process.   Keywords: Change in the form of object, Creative Problem Solving, Creativity, E-LKPD, Liveworksheets

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the quality of test items in the Odd Semester Final Examination (SFE) for the academic year 2023/2024 in Mathematics at UPT SD Negeri 228 Pinrang. The subjects of the study include the blueprint of the exam, the exam items, and the answer sheets from students in grades IV, V, and VI. Data were collected through documentation techniques involving Mathematics PAS exam questions and student answer sheets. Data analysis was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach. Based on the results of data analysis, in terms of the content validity of the questions they are valid, in terms of the validity of the criteria most of them are invalid, in terms of reliability there are reliable and unreliable questions, in terms of the level of difficulty the questions have a disproportionate level of difficulty, in terms of the Discrimination, the questions have good Discrimination. Additionally, the effectiveness of distractors shows both effective and ineffective distractors in the exam items.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of Canva learning media training at SMA Negeri 2 Selayar, to describe teacher competency in Canva learning media training at SMA Negeri 2 Selayar and to describe the influence of Canva learning media training on teacher competency at SMA Negeri 2 Selayar. The approach used is quantitative research, while the type of research used in this research is pre-experimental. The subjects in this research were 25 teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Selayar. Meanwhile, the research object that will be studied here is Canva media training. Data collection using observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this research show that the description of the implementation of Canva media training carried out at SMA Negeri 2 Selayar includes both theoretical and practical material with a recapitulation of the results of the activity analysis of the training participants with the percentage of achievement levels being in the very effective category. The competency description shows an increase in teacher understanding after attending the training. The implementation of Canva learning media training showed very effective results based on the analysis of the training participants. The results of data analysis show that there are significant differences. This also answers hypothesis H1, namely that there is an influence of Canva Learning media training on teacher competency at SMA Negeri 2 Selayar.

Abstract

The background to this research is the large number of students with low basic English pronunciation skills due to several internal and external factors, such as less effective learning methods. This research uses an audio lingual method which can be used as an alternative for the learning process to make it more effective so that it can improve students' basic English pronunciation skills. This research aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes given the audio lingual method and students who are not given the audio lingual method. The results of this research indicate that the use of the audio lingual method is the right step to help students process basic pronunciation skills better and more correctly, however the use of the audio lingual method has weaknesses such as teachers will complain about the amount of time it takes (long), and students will complain about the boredom caused by the constant use of drill patterns. This research is research that uses quantitative research methods, using pretest question instruments and posttest questions in the form of English question texts which will be assessed according to assessment indicators. Data collection techniques use tests, observation, interviews and documentation.

Abstract

This research discusses the leadership role of school principals in realizing an independent learning curriculum in educational units. The independent learning curriculum rolled out by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology aims to create a learning environment that is more adaptable and innovative in line with current trends by providing greater freedom to students and teachers in the learning process. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review or SLR by analyzing 10 articles from national journals published in the last 2 years, namely 2022-2023, with the topic of discussing school principal leadership and the implementation of the independent learning curriculum. The results of this research are that the leadership of the school principal is a key and significant factor in realizing an independent learning curriculum in schools. The school principal plays a very important role in inspiring and empowering teachers to implement learning that is meaningful and relevant to current developments, preparing adequate facilities and infrastructure, encouraging active participation from students and parents in supporting all school programs, and collaborating with stakeholders. This research can provide information for school principals about leadership patterns and styles that can be applied according to the situation and conditions of the school.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out whether there is an influence on the level of independence of students with crossword puzzle media in the science and science subject of class V division material at SDN Lenteng Timur 1 Sumenep with this quantitative research using the research design used is pre-Experimental Designs. The sample used by class V students was 30 students in total. The instruments used are in the form of pretest and posttest questions. Meanwhile, the analysis tests are validity, reliability, and t-test sample tests with the help of the IBM SPSS v21.0 application. This is proven by using crossword puzzle media The level of students' critical thinking ability was obtained significantly (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 which stated that there was a difference in the level of thinking of students using crossword puzzle media.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an assessment instrument in the form of multiple choice based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMPN 1 Ujung Batu, Rokan Hulu. The assessment instruments developed are expected to measure students' high-level thinking skills, which include analysis, evaluation, and creation skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model which consists of ten steps, but in this study, it is simplified into seven main steps: (1) initial research and information collection, (2) planning, (3) initial product development, (4) initial field trials, (5) product revision, (6) main field trials, and (7) final product refinement. The subject of this study is grading VII A students at SMPN 1 Ujung Batu which totals 30 students. Data was collected through questionnaires and tests that were analyzed in a quantitative and qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the study show that the HOTS-based multiple choice assessment instrument developed is valid and reliable to be used in assessing students' high-level thinking skills in PAI subjects. This instrument has been proven to be able to improve students' critical thinking skills, as well as provide challenges that are appropriate to their level of cognitive development. Feedback from teachers and students also shows that this instrument can motivate students to learn more deeply and critically in understanding PAI material.
