Abstract

The low skill of students when asking questions and discussing when learning Indonesian takes place makes learning outcomes decrease. Teachers who are less creative in processing learning materials make students unmotivated and lazy to accept learning materials. Teachers who tend to be selective with active students only make students who are less active are reluctant to have an opinion and choose to listen to the opinions of active students without commenting. Students who are less active in speaking during the discussion are ignored by the teacher. The teacher only assumes that the opinions of active students are always right. The purpose of this study is to provide speaking skills of students who are less active through the Time Token learning model in Indonesian class V subjects at SDN Jatikalang I. This type of research uses classroom action research using two research cycles. The research emphasizes the results of speaking skills and the implementation of student learning when speaking in conveying ideas before the research is carried out and after the research is carried out. The research sample includes fifth grade students consisting of 20 students. The data collection techniques used are observation (observation), conducting interviews with sources, and collecting image evidence (documentation). At the pre- cycle stage the speaking skill score was still below the average of 50.06 (good enough). In the first cycle, the speaking skill score rose to 79.64 (good). The second cycle stage experienced a significant progress of 94.34 (very good). The value of the implementation of student learning in the pre-cycle stage is 2,75 (not good). The value of the implementation of the first cycle of learning is 3,75 (good enough). The value of the implementation of learning second cycle is 4,75 (good). The conclusion that can be drawn is that the Time Token learning model is very influential on students' speaking skills in Indonesian class V subjects at SDN Jatikalang I.

Abstract

This research discusses the Influence of Creative problem solving Assisted by Audio-Visual Media on the Learning Outcomes of Fourth Grade Students at SD Inpres Oepura 1. This research is motivated by the fact that teaching concepts and theories are still limited to a one-way approach and have not yet centered on students, educators have not maximized the use of engaging and innovative media or models in the learning process, and the low learning outcomes of students.  The research used is pre experimental designs with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample in pre experimental designs is first given a pretest to determine the initial abilities of the students before the treatment is given. Subsequently, the sample is given a posttest. (posttest). The data collection method used a pretest-posttest written test. The analysis technique used a t-test. Based on the analysis results, the average pretest score was 61.25 and the average posttest score was 82.29. The results of the pretest and posttest calculations show a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001. Based on the calculations, the obtained sig. (2-tailed) value <0.001 ≤ 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of students before and after the treatment was given. This confirms the research hypothesis that there is an influence of the creative problem-solving learning model assisted by audiovisual media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students.

Abstract

This quantitative correlational research aims to determine whether students' science learning outcomes at Pangkep Regency Elementary Schools are related to their learning motivation. The independent variable (learning motivation) and the dependent variable (science learning outcomes) are the two variables in this research. A sample of 100 students from a population of 36,794 elementary school students in Pangkep Regency was used in this research. For the 2023–2024 academic year, data was collected through questionnaires and midterm exam scores for science subjects. Data were analyzed using correlation methods and significance tests. The results of descriptive statistical analysis show that student learning motivation is in the high category with a percentage reaching 54%. On the other hand, science learning results show a very good score of 78%. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted after correlation analysis produces a significance value of 0.002, which is less than 0.05. The low correlation between student learning motivation and learning outcomes is shown by a correlation coefficient of 0.227.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the passompe remittances on people's lives (case study in Jampue, Lanrisang Village, Lanrisang District, Pinrang Regency). This research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach through observation, interviews and document methods. The research results show that 1). Passompe motivation in Jampue to Malaysia is influenced by 3 factors, namely; first, push factors (not fulfilling the economic demands of life, being the backbone of the family and stress and other related things due to easier access to transportation as well as passompe success stories) second, pull factors (presence of relatives in Malaysia, job opportunities available, housing facilities available , income in accordance with the results of work, easy qualification requirements, comfortable environment and available educational facilities) and third, obstacles that hinder factors (lack of adventurousness and willingness to manage a business in the village). 2). Passompe remittances in Jampue provide 2 benefits, namely; first, for the passompe & passompe family (for the daily needs of the passompe and the family left behind, expenses for holidays such as Eid & weddings, supporting children's education and future investments such as building a house, buying land, opening a business, buying a vehicle & savings in the bank ) and secondly, towards the community (for building mosques, getting souvenirs and joining in celebrating big holidays such as eid & weddings).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited use of technology in developing teaching materials, despite schools having sufficient facilities. Teachers have not fully utilized these resources due to time constraints and a lack of skills in designing technology based materials. As a result, students often feel bored with monotonous learning content. This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective e-module for Civics Education using Canva in a flipbook format. The research is a development study (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which includes fives stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The e-module was validated by experts in content, language, and media. Its practically was assessed through questionnaires from teachers and students, and its effectiveness was evaluated based on student performance. The result showed that the e-module was valid, practical, and effective for learning. Validator feedback resulted in an overall score of 92.41%, categorized as “Very Valid”. Teacher response indicated practicality with scores of 94.28% at the trial school and 97.14% at the research school. Student responses showed scores of 92.76% at the trial school and 94.62% at the research school, both categorized as “Very Practical”. Effectiveness was proven by improved student learning outcomes at SDN 02 Talang Babungo and SDN 14 Talang Babungo after two learning sessions using the e-module. In conclusion, the Canva based flipbook e-module is valid, practical, and effective for use in grade IV elementary school classrooms.
