Abstract

Application of Interactive Multimedia-Based Learning Media in Human Digestive System Material in Science Subjects for Class V Students at SDN 98 Bontomanai, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is pre-experimental research, the aim of the research is to determine students' knowledge before implementing interactive multimedia-based learning media, to determine students' knowledge after implementing interactive multimedia-based learning media and to determine the increase in students' knowledge before and after implementing interactive multimedia-based learning media. in the science subject material on the human digestive system for class V at SDN 98 Bontomanai Bulukumba. The research results showed that the average score at the pretest was 34.74, categorized as low and incomplete, whereas after applying interactive media, at the posttest, the average score was categorized as high and completed, namely 82.64. In the results of the N-gain test, the average value of students is categorized as high, namely 0.75 with N-gain > 0.7. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that the application of interactive media can increase students' knowledge in science subjects regarding the human digestive system. class V at SDN 98 Bontomanai Bulukumba.

Abstract

Through a systematic literature review, this study aimed to investigate STEM-based curriculum development strategies, identify key challenges in their implementation, and assess the impact of STEM-based curriculum implementation on students' capabilities in the digital era. We used a systematic literature review approach to identify, analyze, and synthesize findings from relevant studies. This research offers novelty by focusing on developing country contexts and using a comprehensive SLR approach. The results demonstrated several ways to implement STEM-based curriculum development strategies, including: 1) interdisciplinary integration. 2) project- and problem-based learning; 3) student-centered learning; 4) utilization of digital technology-based learning media; and 5) development of 21st-century competencies. The 21st century requires critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills, all of which STEM education can enhance. However, there are various challenges in its implementation, especially in developing countries, including limited resources, infrastructure, and teacher training. This research pinpoints effective strategies to surmount these challenges, including enhancing teacher training, building infrastructure, and incorporating technology into the learning process. The research pinpoints strategies that effectively address these challenges, including enhancing teacher training, developing infrastructure, and incorporating technology into learning. The research is novel because it focuses on developing country contexts and uses a comprehensive SLR approach. The findings provide practical recommendations for educators and policymakers in implementing effective STEM curricula, as well as contributions to the academic literature in STEM education. Therefore, we anticipate that this research will contribute to the advancement of inclusive and high-quality education in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the critical thinking skills of class IV students at SDN Mampang Prapatan 02 Pagi using a problem based learning model. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model which begins with planning stages, implementing actions and observations, and reflection. The research subjects in this study were 29 students at SD Negeri Mampang Prapatan 02 Pagi. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests, documentation and field notes. The research results showed that the achievement obtained in the evaluation test of students' critical thinking abilities in cycle I reached 58.62%, that is, they had not reached the desired target. In cycle II, it showed that students' critical thinking abilities increased to 89.65%. This research shows that the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of class IV-B students at SDN Mampang Prapatan 02 Pagi.   Keywords: critical thinking, PBL, problem-based learning

Abstract

Primary education plays a very important role in developing students' creative attitudes. One alternative that can be done to foster creativity is by implementing the Tri N teachings (niteni, niroake, nambahake) in the learning process. Tri N is one of the Tamansiswa teachings used by Ki Hadjar Dewantara in the educational process. This article aims to present the implementation of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's Tri N teachings to enhance student creativity through the creation of batik artwork in elementary schools. This type of research is Qualitative Descriptive research. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, creative attitude observation rubrics, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that by implementing the Tri N teachings, students develop creativity that enables them to produce innovative batik art.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how the library at SDN Tempel, Krian District is used as a learning resource as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in utilizing these facilities. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. This research is a type of descriptive research. The data collection technique is triangulation, namely data collection techniques can be carried out using observation, interviews and documentation as well as a combination of the three. The results of the research can be concluded that the library at SDN Tempel, Krian District is very good at supporting Indonesian language learning, in terms of facilities and infrastructure it meets library standards, there are only a few facilities that are incomplete.

Abstract

Students' difficulties in understanding the material in IPAS subjects, especially in abstract material, as well as the lack of utilization of learning media on abstract material, are the background of this research. With this background, this research aims to make it easier for students to understand the material. This study aims to produce magnetic puzzle media that is valid and practical. The method used in this research is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The ADDIE model is one of the models in developing a product so that it can be used in the learning process. The results of this study show that students' needs for learning media with an average of three indicators of material difficulty, learning media needs and learning methods obtained a percentage of 73.94%. And three aspects to assess the validity, namely the validity of the media, material and language with a validity value of 88.63% which shows a very valid category. Followed by a one to one evaluation trial which obtained a practicality value of 90.66% and a small group evaluation trial which received a value of 90.2% with a very practical category. Therefore, the development of magnetic puzzle media can be declared valid and practical.

Abstract

Increase student creativity with waste recycling creations at SDN 1 Wonokerso. This research is motivated by the incident where children in this era will easily get anything they want, and the fear in following the learning as a result they will tend to be lazy to do things that they consider complicated and difficult to get. They will also be passive students and students, able only to accept the lesson without understanding what is being taught. Many negative things can arise from this incident. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is an increase in creativity and writing skills of students carried out by recycling recycling activities. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. by using the rubric of practice and assessment as a reference assessment given to see if there is an increase in creativity in making waste recycling creations. The researcher hopes that the research conducted by the researcher can be useful for many people.

Abstract

The problem with this research is that students have difficulty understanding the material on the forms of cultural diversity in Indonesia, especially on the island of Sumatra, as well as the lack of use of learning media. This research aims to produce learning media for Indonesian cultural cards (kabusa) that are valid, practical and effective. The method used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The research results showed that the Indonesian cultural card learning media (kabusa) that was developed met the "Very Valid" criteria because it obtained a validity value of 81.61%. Based on the one to one evaluation trial, it obtained a practicality score of 90% for the "Very Practical" criteria and based on the small group evaluation trial it obtained a score of 87.81% for the "Very Practical" criterion. Based on field test trials from student test questions, an N-Gain value of 0.7755 was obtained for the "High" criteria and an N-Gain percent value of 77.512%, which means the use of Indonesian cultural card media (kabusa) with the criteria "Effective" for use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the difficulties of students in learning mathematics in statistical material, especially those related to the mean, median and mode. Researchers are also trying to find alternative solutions to overcome the difficulties faced by students. The subjects in this study were students of class 6 SD Negeri 03 Buran, Kecamatan Tasikmadu, Kabupaten Karanganyar as many as 22 students who were selected purposively. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data were obtained from observations, interviews and documentation with two categories of difficulty, namely those related to understanding the concept and its application to the mean, median, and mode formulas. Based on the results and discussion, it was concluded that there were two difficulties experienced by students in statistical material. Students still have difficulty understanding the concept of mean, median, mode, and difficulty in applying the formulas for mean, median and mode to the data presented in tabular form. To overcome the difficulties of students in understanding the concept of mean, median and mode, the teacher should explain the definitions and uses of the three by involving students directly in constructing the formula. Meanwhile, to overcome students' difficulties in applying the mean, median and mode formulas in tabular form, teachers are expected to be able to explain additional tables, namely frequency multiplied by data (f.x) and cumulative frequency to make it easier to find the mean, median and mode.

Abstract

In primary education, character education is crucial as this period is the foundation for children's moral and ethical development. Natural Sciences and Social Sciences (IPAS) education in elementary schools aims to develop students' understanding of society and the social environment while instilling moral values. However, IPAS learning often faces challenges in student engagement. This study aims to analyze the needs of IPAS learning media based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) integrated with Tri-Nga values (Ngerti, Ngrasa, Nglakoni) for elementary school students. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method to analyze the needs of Student Worksheets (LKPD) media in IPAS learning based on PBL and Tri-Nga values. The results reveal challenges in IPAS learning, including a lack of student discipline and difficulties in teaching IPAS material that involves a lot of memorization. The implementation of LKPD based on PBL and Tri-Nga values is expected to help address these challenges and support the development of student discipline character.
