Abstract

This study aims to describe the creative thinking skills of second-grade students of Karangjunti 01 Elementary School in solving multiplication problems and identify the factors that influence them. This study uses a qualitative approach in a case study method. The subjects in this study consisted of four students and one class teacher. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. Creative thinking skills were analyzed based on four indicators, namely, fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality. The results of the study indicate that students' creative thinking skills are still relatively low. The majority of students have not been able to demonstrate various solution strategies, are not accustomed to explaining steps in sequence, and lack the confidence to try different methods. Only one student fulfilled all the indicators of creative thinking. Factors that influence low student creativity consist of three aspects, namely, cognitive factors (limited alternative strategies), affective factors (low self-confidence), and contextual factors (minimal use of technological media). These findings indicate that the development of students' creativity in mathematics learning needs to be supported through an active, varied, and contextual approach to encourage students' courage in thinking openly and solving problems in creative ways.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model in the Science subject of fifth-grade students at SDN 02 Lempong, Jenawi District, Karanganyar Regency, in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects were one principal, one teacher, and one student at SDN 02 Lempong, Jenawi District, Karanganyar Regency. Data collection methods used in this study included interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the guided inquiry model was implemented through six core stages: problem orientation, problem identification and formulation, hypothesis formulation, data collection and processing, conclusions, and communication of results, with active teacher guidance. Implementation of this model has been shown to increase student engagement, critical thinking skills, and scientific skills. Furthermore, this approach also positively impacted students' understanding of the concept of environmental change and increased awareness of environmental sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD on increasing the learning motivation of phase E students at SMA Negeri 16 Padang. The problem found was the low learning motivation of students due to monotonous and uninteresting learning methods. The research method used was a quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely E2 (experimental class, 39 students) and E1 (control class, 40 students), which were selected randomly. The research instruments were in the form of a learning motivation questionnaire and a pretest-posttest test. The results showed that the learning motivation of students in the experimental class increased significantly compared to the control class. The t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted. Thus, Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD is effective in increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of civic awareness among students at SMAN 1 Suliki and the continued use of conventional teaching methods that do not actively involve students. This situation poses a challenge in realizing the Pancasila Student Profile, which emphasizes values such as collaboration, critical thinking, and social responsibility. The research aims to optimize project-based learning as a contextual and participatory approach to civic education. This qualitative research employed a descriptive method through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving Civics teachers and Grade X students. Data were analyzed using the interactive model by Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that: (1) project-based learning was systematically designed by integrating values of the Pancasila Student Profile, including collaboration, independence, and critical reasoning; (2) its implementation showed fairly good results, marked by active student participation in school-based social campaigns, although some aspects were not yet optimal due to limited teacher readiness and students’ need for more guidance; (3) supporting factors included school and teacher support, available learning media, and student collaboration, while inhibiting factors involved limited teacher training, time constraints, and lack of student experience in independent and group work. In conclusion, project-based learning contributed significantly to improving students’ civic awareness, though continuous improvement is needed in teacher training, time management, and student mentoring to ensure more effective and comprehensive implementation.

Abstract

The phenomenon of fatherlessness, the absence of a father figure in a child's life, is increasingly common and impacts students' psychological aspects, including self-esteem. This study aims to describe the condition of fatherlessness, the level of self-esteem, and the relationship between the two in students at SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir. This study used a quantitative correlational approach with a sample of 62 students taken through a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the condition of fatherlessness was in the high category, while self-esteem was in the low category. There was a weak negative relationship between the condition of fatherlessness and self-esteem. These results indicate that the higher the condition of fatherlessness, the lower the level of self-esteem of students. Therefore, it is important for parents, especially fathers, to be physically and emotionally present in their children's lives

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kualitas aplikasi absensi digital yang menggunakan sidik jari yang diterapkan di SMK Negeri 1 Sangatta Utara. Penilaian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuadran evaluasi yang mencakup dimensi fakta dan harapan dari pengguna sistem tersebut. Metodologi yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan alat survei yang telah disesuaikan berdasarkan model kualitas perangkat lunak seperti ISO 9126 dan SERVQUAL. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara apa yang dirasakan (fakta) dan yang diharapkan (ekspektasi) pengguna di beberapa area, termasuk kemudahan penggunaan, keandalan sistem, dan efisiensi waktu. Berdasarkan penggambaran kuadran, beberapa elemen pada sistem perlu diperbaiki agar dapat memenuhi harapan pengguna secara maksimal. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk pengembangan dan peningkatan kualitas aplikasi di masa depan agar lebih efisien dalam mendukung manajemen kehadiran pegawai secara digital di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of Mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the TPS type Cooperative learning model assisted by Digimath Fun media. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 16 fifth-grade students of SDN Grobogan 02. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used include observation, testing, and documentation. The instruments used include teaching modules, teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, pre-test and post-test questions for cycles I and II, and also documentation during the learning process. The results of the study indicate that the application of the TPS type Cooperative learning model assisted by Digimath Fun media can improve students' Mathematics learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, student learning completeness only reached 25%, increased to 56.75% in cycle I, and reached 93.75% in cycle II. In addition, teacher and student activities in the learning process also increased at each meeting. Thus, it can be concluded that the TPS type Cooperative learning model assisted by Digimath Fun media is effective in improving the Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Grobogan 02, Jiwan, Madiun Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by animated videos on students' learning motivation and critical thinking skills, as well as the effect of learning motivation on students' critical thinking skills. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was all NU Kaplongan Elementary School students in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 389 students. Using a simple random sampling technique, class VA was determined as the experimental class with 29 students and class VB as the control class with 30 students. Research data were collected through questionnaires and written tests. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.016. Because the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.016 <0.05, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.039. Because the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.039 < 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test, a Sig. of 0.044 is obtained. Because the Sig. value is 0.044 < 0.05, it can be concluded that learning motivation has an effect on critical thinking skills. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by animated videos on students' learning motivation and critical thinking skills, and there is an influence of learning motivation on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan rendahnya motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPAS yang terjadi di kelas IV dan dibutuhkan juga penggunaan model pembelajaran menarik dalam pembelajaran agar siswa lebih tertarik dengan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis perbedaan antara motivasi belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran talking stick di SDN 89 Singkawang 2) untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Talking stick Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Pada Mata Pelajaran Ipas Kelas IV SD 89 Singkawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dan jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest postest desain. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 26 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan antara motivasi belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran talking stick di SDN 89 Singkawang dilihat dari perhitungan uji paired sample t-test berbantuan SPSS diperoleh niali sig 2 tailed < 0,05. 2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Talking stick Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS Kelas IV SD 89 Singkawang dan diinterpretasi nilai effect size sebesar 1,46 artinya mempunyai pengaruh pada berkategori sangat besar dan Ha ada perbedaan antara motivasi belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah dalam model pembelajaran talking stick di SDN 89 Singkawang dengan nilai 0,000< 0,05.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) Analyse water quality and determine the status of water quality in the Batang Arau River, Padang City by considering several physical (temperature, TDS, TSS,), chemical (BOD, COD, DO, total phosphate (T-Phosphate), pH, nitrate (NO3-N), ammonia (NH3-N) and biological (fecal coliform) parameters. (2) Estimating the potential pollution load of Batang Arau River from domestic, industrial and agricultural sectors. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. There are 2 methods used in this research, in analysing water quality and identifying water quality status using the STORET method. Meanwhile, to estimate the potential pollution load in Batang Arau River, this research uses an indirect calculation by calculating the potential pollution load sourced from the 2017 Citarum River Pollution Load Capacity and Allocation book. Determination of sample points using purposive sampling technique with a total of 5 sample points spread from upstream to downstream. The results showed that (1) Based on the analysis results, 7 out of 11 water quality parameters experienced problems including temperature, TDS, BOD, COD, DO, T-Phosphate and Ammonia. The quality status of the Batang Arau River at sample points 1 and 2 is still categorised as meeting quality standards, sample 3 is classified as mildly polluted, samples 4 and 5 are categorised as heavily polluted. (2) The highest potential pollution load in the Batang Arau River is caused by the domestic sector, followed by the industrial and agricultural sectors. The ability to accommodate the pollution load in the Batang Arau River is influenced by the amount of river water discharge and water quality, high water discharge accelerates the process of dissolving pollutants in water through the process of self purification.
