Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in Geography for Grade XI at SMAN 2 Sawahlunto. The background of this study is the low cognitive learning outcomes of students caused by a lack of variety in learning models and low student engagement in the learning process. This study employs a quantitative approach using an experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consists of two classes: XI.F4 as the experimental class and XI.F5 as the control class, with a total of 67 students. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments and analysed using descriptive statistical tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, t-tests, and N-Gain tests. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the TGT model significantly improves students' cognitive learning outcomes. The posttest average of the experimental class reached 86.94 with a completion rate of 91%, compared to the control class, which only reached an average of 70.42 with a completion rate of 7%. The N-Gain value of the experimental class was 0.72, which is classified as quite effective. Thus, the TGT cooperative learning model has been proven to be effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in Geography.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of using Genially-based learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of class II students at UPTD SD Inpres Oeba 4, Kupang City. The background to this research focuses on the low student learning outcomes caused by the use of conventional learning methods that are less interesting and interactive. This research uses a quantitative method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects in this research were all 23 class II students at SD Inpres Oeba 4, Kupang City. The instruments used include pretest and posttest data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistical tests and inferential statistics using the SPSS version 23 program. The research results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after implementing genially media. The average student pretest score was 44,17, increasing to 73.91 on the posttest. the normality test swows that data is normality distributed. The paired sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05. This means that there is a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after treatment. Furthermore, the N-Gain test result show a value of 0,53 which is included in the medium category, with the level of learning effectiveness being in the quite effective category. Ih this way, it ccan be concluded that the use of genially based interactive learning media has a positive influence on students mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

In the IPAS learning process, students are taught about living things, inanimate objects in the universe, and their interactions. A learning model that is not accompanied by appropriate media may fail to stimulate students’ interest and enthusiasm, thereby hindering the effectiveness of learning evaluation due to student boredom and lack of motivation. Developing instructional media using Android-Based Interactive Multimedia is the solution offered by the researcher based on a needs analysis. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Android-Based Interactive Multimedia. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study consisted of 28 students and 1 homeroom teacher. Data collection techniques included validity (questionnaires from media and material experts), practicality (questionnaires from teacher and student responses), and effectiveness (post-test). The validity data from the media expert showed a score of 86%, and the validation results from the material expert showed a score of 91%, both categorized as very valid. The practicality data based on teacher responses showed a score of 84%, and student responses showed a score of 91%, both categorized as very practical. The effectiveness data based on classical student mastery showed a score of 94%, categorized as very effective. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Android-Based Interactive Multimedia on the topic of human respiratory organs is considered to be very valid, very practical, and very effective for use in teaching the topic of human respiratory organs.Bagian Atas Formulir

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that in the world of education in the digital era, the use of technology and communication is very important to be applied in learning. The utilization of digital platform learning based on gamification is one effective way to support the learning process. Gamification is an approach that combines game elements into a game context. One form of platform used is Minecraft, Quizizz, and Kahoot. This effort is done as a way to increase student motivation and make it easier for teachers in the learning process to be more effective and efficient. Therefore, this study aims to determine the integration of digital platform learning based on gamification in sociology learning. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive type. The theory used in this research is the constructivism theory by Jean Piaget. The informants in this study are teachers, students, deputies, and principals at SMAN 1 Luhak Nan Duo. The sample of this study consisted of 11 people with certain criteria or sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing (verification). The results show that overall, the integration of digital platform learning based on gamification in sociology learning at SMAN 1 Luhak Nan Duo has been running quite well. The Minecraft platform is used during the learning process, and the Quizizz and Kahoot platforms are used as evaluation tools. Efforts are needed to improve the process of implementing digital platform learning based on gamification in sociology learning at SMAN 1 Luhak Nan Duo to make it even better.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of: 1) emotional intelligence on learning achievement, 2)the Merdeka curriculum on learning achievement, 3)time management on learning achievement, 4)parenting styles on learning achievement, 5)learning environment on learning achievement, 6)the combined influence of emotional intelligence, the Merdeka curriculum, time management, parenting styles, and learning environment on learning achievement. The research was conducted in June 2025. The type of research used in this study is descriptive and associative research. The population of this study is all eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Bonjol. Sampling technique used is Stratified Random Sampling method by grouping parents' income levels into high and low, with a sample size of 59 students. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and inductive analysis, assisted by SPSS software. The research results indicate that there are influences: First, emotional intelligence has a significant effect on learning achievement, as evidenced by a coefficient value of -3.032. This coefficient value is significant because the calculated t value of -9.788 is less than the critical t value of 1.67109 and the significance level of 0.000 is less than 0.05. Second, the independent curriculum has a significant effect on learning achievement, as evidenced by a coefficient value of 1.070. This coefficient value is significant because the calculated t value of 7.344 is greater than the critical t value of 1.67109 and the significance level of 0.000 is less than 0.05. Third, time management has a significant effect on learning achievement, as evidenced by a coefficient value of 0.677. This coefficient value is significant because the calculated t value of 4.494 is greater than the critical t value of 1.67109 and the significance level of 0.000 is less than 0.05. The four parenting styles significantly influence learning achievement, indicated by a coefficient value of 0.794 each. This coefficient value is significant because the calculated t is 3.960 > the t table 1.67109 and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. The five learning environments significantly affect learning achievement, indicated by a coefficient value of 0.551 each. This coefficient value is significant because the calculated t is 4.730 > the t table 1.67109 and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. Additionally, emotional intelligence, the independent curriculum, time management, parenting styles, and learning environments collectively have a significant influence on learning achievement. This is evidenced by a calculated F value of 20.983 > the F table of 2.26 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. To improve learning achievement, it is necessary to enhance emotional intelligence, the independent curriculum, time management, parenting styles, and the learning environments of eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Bonjol.

Abstract

The background that prompted this research was students' difficulties in following and understanding science lessons on the solar system. However, after further investigation through questionnaires, interviews, and needs analysis, the underlying problem was revealed to be a lack of teacher innovation in the learning process using instructional media. Teachers still use conventional learning techniques, focusing primarily on textbooks as learning resources. This leads to student boredom during the learning process The research questions are: 1) How does the development of interactive multimedia on the characteristics of the solar system (KATARYA) for sixth grade elementary school students based on Articulate Storyline work? 2) How is the feasibility of developing interactive multimedia on the characteristics of the solar system (KATARYA) for sixth grade elementary school students based on Articulate Storyline? 3) How is the practicality of developing interactive multimedia on the characteristics of the solar system (KATARYA) for sixth grade elementary school students based on Articulate Storyline? This research method is Research and Development (R&D). The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model was used. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Product testing was conducted at Muhammadiyah 16 Elementary School, Semarang. Based on the research conducted, the media validation score was 93%, categorized as "very valid," and the material validation score was 96%, categorized as "very valid." The questionnaire responses were then tested on 28 sixth-grade students. The calculated data showed that the questionnaire responses scored 95.7%, categorized as "very practical," while the teacher responses scored 100%, categorized as "very practical." These scores indicate that the KATARYA media is highly valid and practical for use in sixth-grade elementary school learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the small group discussion model on students' communication skills in grade V of SDN Pegadungan 05 Pagi. This study is a quantitative research using an experimental method with a type of one group pretest posttest design. The sample in this study is 30 students in class V A. The data collection technique in this study is using questionnaires and pre-test post-test. The results obtained from students in class V A when conducting the pretest before being given the small group discussion model got an average score of 72.82 and after being given the small group discussion model got an average score of 90.73. After obtaining the results, the researcher conducted a hypothesis test to find out if there was an influence of the small group discussion model on the communication skills of students in this study. Based on the t-test with the Paired Sample T-Test, it can be seen that the t-results are calculated 23,642 > t-table 2,045 and the significant value is 0.000 > 0.05. The results showed that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there was an influence of the small group discussion model on the communication skills of students in grade V of SDN Pegadungan 05 Pagi.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini tujuan yang hendak dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran guru dalam menerapkan metode among pada mata pelajaran IPS, untuk mengetahui hambatan yang di alami guru dalam menerapkan metode among serta solusi dalam mengatasi hambatan dalam menerapkan metode among di MTs NW Pringgabaya Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan tiga tekhnik pengumpulan data. Yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data di susun melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan temuan peneliti di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam menerapkan metode among pada mata pelajaran IPS adalah pamong harus mempunyai pendekatan yang besifat kekeluargaan karena siswa dan guru memiliki hubungan yang di bangun atas dasar cinta dan kepercayaan, dan sebagai guru juga harus memberikan contoh yang baik terhadap murid-muridnya, serta memberikan semangat, semangat belajar semangat berbuat baik dan hambatan yang dialami guru dalam menerapkan metode among pada mata pelajaran IPS kurangnya kemapuan guru dalam menggunakan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi (IPTEK), kurangnya minat belajar dan kurangnya dukungan dari orang tua. Serta solusi yang di gunakan dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut yakni guru perlu pendekatan yang lebih personal dan memahami karakteristik individu peserta didik, guru perlu mempelajari dan mengaplikasikan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi (IPTEK), perlunya dorongan dari guru dan orang tua untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The issue addressed in this study concerns the low levels of students interpersonal intelligence and collaboration skills. This condition is attributed to the underdevelopment of communication skills and a lack of active student participation during the learning process. To overcome this issue, the BAIMBAI model was implemented. This study aims to describe and analyze the improvement in students’ interpersonal intelligence and collaboration skills through the application of the BAIMBAI model. A classroom action research (CAR) approach was employed, using both qualitative and quantitative methods over the course of four instructional sessions. The research subjects consisted of 18 fourth-grade students at SDN Telaga Biru 7 Banjarmasin. Data were collected through observations based on indicators of interpersonal intelligence and collaboration ability. The findings revealed a significant increase in students' interpersonal intelligence, from 28% "moderately skilled" to 89% "highly skilled" between the first and fourth sessions. Likewise, collaboration skills improved from 33% to 94% in the same period. These results suggest that implementing the BAIMBAI model in IPAS instruction can effectively enhance students’ interpersonal intelligence and their ability to collaborate.

Abstract

Improving Mathematics learning outcomes is essential, as it enhances logical, critical, and systematic thinking. At SDN Grobogan 02, instruction remained teacher-centered and lacked proper use of models and media, leading to low student understanding. This study aimed to improve learning outcomes through the Course Review Horay (CRH) model assisted by Smartsheet. The research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 20 fourth-grade students. Data collection involved observation, tests, and documentation, using teaching modules, observation sheets, and pre- and post-tests. Results showed improvement: in the pre-cycle, 30% of students achieved the passing score (average 63.25); Cycle I increased to 50% (average 74.5); and Cycle II reached 95% (average 86). These findings confirm that the CRH model with Smartsheet effectively enhances Mathematics learning outcomes
