Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyebarkan pengaruh penerapan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan metode pretest-posttest control group design . Populasi dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 31 siswa. Perlakuan (perlakuan) dilakukan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan, dan data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis serta angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum perlakuan, sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori berpikir kritis “sangat rendah” dan “rendah”. Setelah perlakuan, terjadi peningkatan signifikan di mana sebagian besar siswa mencapai kategori “tinggi” dan “sangat tinggi”. Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p(sig.<0,05) sebesar 0,013<0,05, yang mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan signifikan. Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (Ha​) yang menyatakan adanya pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dapat diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa teknologi pembelajaran model Virtual Reality inkuiri berpengaruh positif dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Makassar.

Abstract

This correlational study aims to investigate the relationship between critical thinking skills and students’ science literacy in Grade IV science learning at elementary schools in Duren Sawit District. The sample of this study consisted of 92 fourth grade students from SDN Duren Sawit 10, SDN Duren Sawit 05, and SDN Duren Sawit 18, located in East Jakarta. The sample was selected using a cluster random sampling technique. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Data were collected using essay-based tests and analyzed using a t-test. The analysis results show a positive relationship between critical thinking skills and science literacy, as evidenced by the value of t_count > t_table (7.779 > 1.987). These findings indicate that critical thinking skill can be considered as one of the efforts to improve the science literacy of fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Know the application of the use of the Creative Problem Solving model to improve students' creative thinking skills and to 2) Know the effect of using the Creative Problem Solving model to improve students' creative thinking skills at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The research method used in this research is the Quasi Experiment Method with the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling was done by Random Sampling technique. The samples in this study were students of class X.1 as an experimental class using the Creative Problem Solving learning model and class X.3 as a control class using Conventional learning media. Data collection uses pretest and posttest instruments in the form of multiple choices that have been tested for validity, reliability. The results of the study explained that 1) The application of the Creative Problem Solving model to improve students' creative thinking skills at Pertiwi 1 Padang High School in class X.1 as an experimental class is declared quite effective to be applied, this is evidenced by documentary evidence and observations related to the activeness of students in applying the Creative Problem Solving model, which of the 4 indicators of creative thinking ability, there are 3 indicators that students understand best including Fluency (the ability to express many ideas fluently and confidently related to atmospheric problems), flexibility (diversity, being able to produce many diverse ideas regarding solutions to reduce the impact of air pollution in the surrounding environment), originality (creating an answer from the direction of one's own views related to atmospheric problems in the environment) The success of this application is supported by school facilities and infrastructure such as internet connections (Wi-Fi), and students are allowed to use laptops and mobile phones. 2) The effect of the Creative Problem Solving learning model on students' creative thinking skills in class X.1 SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang with the average posttest of the experimental class of 87.24 and the average posttest of class X.3 as the control class of 71.94. Data analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test test from the calculated data obtained a significance level (Sig.) of 0.003 because the significance is smaller than 0.05 (0.003 <0.05), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of elementary school students on the topic of gravitational force indicate the need for innovative learning media to improve students' motivation and academic performance. This study aims to examine the effect of using liveworksheet media and learning motivation on students' learning outcomes in grade 4 of elementary school. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 27 students in the experimental class and 27 students in the control class. The instruments used were learning outcome tests and learning motivation questionnaires. The pretest t-test showed no significant difference between the two classes (Sig. = 0.293). The posttest t-test revealed a significant difference in learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.006). The t-test for learning motivation also showed a significant difference between the classes (Sig. = 0.000). The f-test (ANOVA) indicated a significant interaction between the use of Liveworksheet media and learning motivation on students' learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.021). These findings demonstrate that the use of Liveworksheet media and learning motivation have a positive influence on improving students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low scores in formative assessments in the subject of Pancasila Education. Only 51.28% of students achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC), while 48.71% did not. Additionally, the teacher still applied conventional teaching methods, primarily using lectures. This research focuses on implementing the cooperative learning model of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in the subject of Pancasila Education, particularly on the topic of “Cooperation in My Environment.” The aim of this study is to improve the learning achievement of Grade IV students at SD Negeri 3 Arcawinangun through the application of the TGT cooperative learning model. This study employed a classroom action research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. Data collection techniques included tests, observation, documentation, and questionnaires, with tools such as observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, evaluation test sheets, and documentation.The results showed a significant improvement in student achievement. Student learning activity observations increased from 64.1% in Cycle I, Meeting 1 to 72.56% in Meeting 2. In Cycle II, learning activity further increased to 77.17% in Meeting 1 and 84.32% in Meeting 2. Based on these improvements, it can be concluded that the application of classroom action research using the TGT cooperative model can enhance students' learning achievement in Pancasila Education for Grade IV students at SD Negeri 3 Arcawinangun.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using Ferrofluid media on the understanding of the concept of magnets and magnetic fields of fifth grade elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the low understanding of students towards abstract science material and the lack of use of innovative experimental media such as Ferrofluid in learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the pretest and posttest control group design type. The subjects of this study consisted of 76 students of SDN 1 Dampit who were divided into experimental and control classes. The instrument was in the form of multiple-choice questions that were tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique in this study used prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis tests using independent sample t-tests. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference between the posttest results of the experimental and control classes. The conclusion of this study is that the use of ferrofluid as an experimental medium has a positive impact on improving students' understanding of the concept of magnets and magnetic fields. The implication of this study is the importance of using experimental media based on concrete visualization in science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs for instructional media and educational technology at Pondok Pesantren Ahlus Shidqi war Rahmah (ASR), Gowa Regency, and to design and conduct an initial trial of a thematic Qur’an learning media using a semi-digital flashcard-based board game. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research results indicate that although facilities such as computers and LCD projectors are available, their use in teaching is still limited due to the lack of diverse and interactive media. Teachers express a need for more engaging and student-centered instructional tools, while students show good adaptability to technology-based learning. The initial testing of the semi-digital board game revealed a positive impact on students' learning motivation, concentration, and confidence in understanding thematic Qur’anic material. These findings suggest that the integration of interactive and contextual media can be an effective strategy to support meaningful and joyful learning experiences in Islamic boarding schools. The research also provides insights into how semi-digital tools can bridge the gap between traditional religious education and modern pedagogical approaches in pesantren environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs related to the use of learning media and technology at DDI Abrad Islamic Boarding School in Makassar. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and questionnaires involving 12 tenth-grade students. The data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that digital platforms such as Zoom, YouTube, and Google Forms have been utilized, although unevenly across subjects. The main challenges encountered include limited internet connectivity, lack of digital devices, and insufficient digital literacy. Meanwhile, the use of audiovisual media such as LCD projectors and PowerPoint presentations has been shown to enhance students’ learning motivation, active participation, and comprehension of the subject matter. Hence, there is a pressing need to improve digital infrastructure and increase digital competencies to support more interactive and effective learning experiences in the Islamic boarding school context.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development process and evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a flipbook-based e-module for the IPAS subject in Grade V at SDN 3 Sendangrejo. The research is a development study using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection instruments used include validation sheets by material experts, media experts, and language experts, response questionnaires from teachers and students, as well as pretest and posttest items. Validation results indicate that the e-module is valid with percentages of 98% from the language expert (very valid), 85% from the material expert (valid), and 96% from the media expert (very valid). Practicality tests show a 100% score from students and 98% from teachers, indicating the module is highly practical. The effectiveness test shows a score of 79%, classifying the module as effective in improving learning outcomes. Therefore, the developed flipbook-based e-module is suitable to be used as a valid, practical, and effective learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of integrated learning based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) on the problem-solving skills and literacy of fourth-grade students at SD GMIT Manumuti Tarus. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were one classroom teacher and 20 students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results showed that the implementation of STEM-based integrated learning significantly improved students' abilities to solve contextual problems and enhanced their scientific and mathematical literacy. Students became more active, creative, collaborative, and reflective in addressing real-life problems around them. The STEM approach provided space for students to connect various concepts across disciplines and apply them in daily life. The learning process shifted from teacher-centered to student-centered, enabling learners to engage directly in knowledge construction activities through exploration, designing simple tools, group discussions, and project presentations. This research confirms that integrated learning based on STEM can foster students' critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and literacy development in primary education contexts
