Abstract

The background of this research focuses on individual students. The inability of children to collaborate is still commonly observed today, such as when many students prefer to choose their own friends during group activities, making it difficult for them to socialize with others. The Think Pair Share (TPS) type of Cooperative Learning Model is an instructional approach in which students first think independently about the problem posed by the teacher, then discuss it with a partner, and finally share the discussion results with the entire class. This process fosters social interaction and strengthens familiarity among students during group work. The research adopted a quantitative approach and an experimental design. Data were collected by administering a pre-test and a post-test. The statistical analysis, performed with SPSS version 21, included an independent sample T-test which yielded a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000, a value below the 0.05 threshold. This outcome resulted in the rejection of H₀ and the acceptance of Hₐ. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning model exerts a significant influence on improving the procedural text writing skills of fourth-grade students.

Abstract

The research results show that: 1) Emotional intelligence has a significant effect on learning discipline. Emotional intelligence influences learning achievement through indirect influence on learning discipline as shown by the path coefficient value of 0.495. 2) Learning facilities have a significant effect on learning discipline. Learning facilities influence learning achievement through indirect influence on learning discipline which is shown to obtain a path coefficient value of 0.116. 3) Peers have a significant influence on learning discipline. Peers influence learning achievement through indirect influence on learning discipline which is shown to obtain a path coefficient value of 0.233. 4) The family environment has a significant effect on learning discipline. The family environment influences learning achievement through indirect influence on learning discipline as shown by the path coefficient value of 0.308. 5) Emotional intelligence has a significant effect on learning achievement. Emotional intelligence influences learning achievement directly as shown by the path coefficient value of 2.089. 6) Learning facilities have a significant effect on learning achievement. Abstract

This study aims to overcome the low critical thinking skills of students in learning Mathematics. The problem is caused by the lack of active involvement of students in the learning process. The solution applied is the use of the INGAT model, a combination of PBL, TGT, and Snowball Throwing models. This research used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method for four meetings, with the subject of 20 fourth grade students of SDN Alalak Selatan 2 Banjarmasin. Through Classroom Action Research in class IV, the results showed that critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of students have increased significantly. The INGAT learning model is proven to be effective in increasing learner engagement and learning outcomes. This research can be used as a reference or alternative in improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

To improve the learning independence of fourth-grade students at SDN Papungan 2, Blitar Regency, this study attempts to create an Android-based E-LKPD software on the topic "Plants, the Source of Life on Earth." The ADDIE paradigm, which consists of five stages—analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation—was applied in this study using a research and development (R&D) approach. A student learning independence questionnaire, expert validation, interviews, and observations were among the methods used to collect data. The validation results showed that the E-LKPD was classified as highly valid with scores from material experts of 82%, media experts 75%, and language experts 86%. The effectiveness test using N-Gain analysis showed an average increase in the independence score of 7.54%, which is considered low but indicates an increase because the independence aspect is affective and develops gradually. In addition, the results of the student learning independence questionnaire after using the E-LKPD showed a percentage of 93%, which is classified as very good. Thus, this scaffolding-based E-LKPD is declared feasible, effective, and strengthens students' skills in managing learning independently.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the issues encountered by students during the learning process of prayer material in Islamic Elementary School Bekasi, where many students feel bored in class. To address the boredom in learning, especially in the practical aspects of prayer material, an innovative learning approach is required by utilizing YouTube videos. This research aims to describe the utilization of YouTube videos as a learning media for the fiqh subject on prayer material for the second-grade class at Islamic Elementary School in Bekasi and to identify the obstacles faced in utilizing YouTube videos. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The results show that the utilization of YouTube videos as a learning media for the fiqh subject on prayer material implemented in the class consists of three stages: planning the learning, implementing the learning, and evaluating the learning.  The utilization of YouTube videos as a learning media for the fiqh subject on prayer material is proven to be effective. This is indicated by the students' enthusiasm and the absence of students falling asleep during the learning process. The obstacles in the learning process include: firstly, infrastructure aspects covering wifi/network factors, PLN electricity supply, and the limitation of projectors/infocus. Secondly, the students' attitude aspect, with a small number of them still requiring more motivation to learn.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading literacy skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 238 Palembang in the Indonesian language subject through the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning strategy assisted by interactive quizzes. The main problem faced is the low level of students’ reading literacy skills, as indicated only 7.41% of students achieving the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) before the intervention. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in two cycles, which included the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ reading literacy skills. In the first cycle, learning mastery reached 48.1% with an average score of 63.5, and in the second cycle, it increased to 81.4% with an average score of 81.1. The implementation of interactive quizzes such as Wordwall and Baamboozle in the STAD strategy also proved effective in enhancing active participation, collaboration, and students’ learning motivation. Therefore, the STAD learning strategy assisted by interactive quizzes can be considered an effective alternative teaching strategy to improve reading literacy skills at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The reading ability of grade III students of SD N Julang, Bogor City is still in the low category. This is indicated by the results of the initial test that was carried out that out of a total of 28 students, only 7 students completed the speed reading and only 10 students completed the comprehension test. The low reading ability and comprehension of students is partly due to the lack of application of speed reading techniques in classroom learning. The purpose of this study was to improve the reading ability and comprehension of grade III students of SD N Julang by using speed reading techniques. This study used the PTK method which was carried out in two cycles. The test results showed that there was an increase in students' reading ability and comprehension from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Thus, the use of speed reading and comprehension techniques can improve the ability of speed reading techniques and comprehension of grade III students of SD N Julang, Bogor City.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of self-efficacy and the Micro Teaching course on the readiness of students in the Social Sciences Education Study Program (PIPS), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Riau, to participate in the School Field Introduction Program (PLP). PLP is a basic stage in the formation of professional teachers, where students apply theoretical knowledge through observation, internships, and guided teaching practice in the school environment. Student readiness to undergo PLP is crucial, involving not only academic understanding but also the ability to adapt and interact in the work environment. In this context, self-confidence or self-efficacy, as well as practical experience gained from the Micro Teaching course, are identified as important elements that influence this readiness. The results showed that most students had a high level of PLP readiness, with the ability to interact and communicate with students being the most prominent aspect. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that self-efficacy and the Micro Teaching course, both separately and together, had a positive and significant influence on student readiness to participate in PLP. In conclusion, this study found that most of the variation in PLP readiness can be explained by self-efficacy and the Micro Teaching course. These findings strongly emphasize the importance of self-confidence and practical experience gained from microteaching in preparing prospective teachers for the realities of the field. Therefore, it is recommended that students continue to develop their understanding and skills related to self-efficacy and microteaching to enhance their PLP readiness.

Abstract

Karya tari Bhrantacitta berangkat dari refleksi mendalam terhadap fase Grahasta Asrama dalam tradisi Hindu Bali, khususnya pengalaman seorang wanita yang berada di ambang perubahan status kehidupan. Inspirasi penciptaan muncul dari dua dimensi utama: (1) faktor internal, berupa gejolak rasa yang dialami wanita menjelang pernikahan; (2) faktor eksternal, berupa prosesi sakral Mekala-kalaan sebagai bagian dari prosesi pernikahan adat Bali. Karya ini hadir karena kebutuhan untuk mengungkap ulang makna spiritual dan kultural dari pernikahan yang berangkat dari urgensi untuk menghadirkan kembali kesadaran kolektif tentang nilai spiritual dan transformatif dari pernikahan adat Bali. Proses penciptaan karya ini menggunakan metode Urip Manga, yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: ngawit, ngekeb, madewasa ayu, mejauman, dan ngungkab lawang. Metode ini dikembangkan melalui pendekatan site specific berbasis realitas virtual. Konsep ini menghadirkan perpaduan antara ruang, tubuh, dan ilusi peristiwa, di mana unsur-unsur pertunjukan menggambarkan pengalaman-pengalaman spiritual yang berakar pada realitas budaya. Koreografi menempati dan berinteraksi dengan ruang, menciptakan dimensi visual yang merepresentasikan makna dari tiap tahapan ritual pernikahan. Hasil penciptaan karya ini menunjukkan proses kreativitas yang berkembang dari eksplorasi rasa dan pengalaman budaya, pembentukan wujud dan struktur tari yang berakar dari simbolisme ritual, serta penyampaian pesan bahwa pernikahan bukan semata perayaan sosial, tetapi sebuah laku hidup yang menuntut pemahaman, penghormatan, dan kesiapan batin. Melalui Bhrantacitta, karya ini menjadi pengingat bahwasannya pernikahan merupakan fase paling suci dalam kehidupan, yang menyatukan dua insan sekaligus menuntun mereka menapaki jalan spiritual melalui rangkaian prosesi penuh makna, seperti tahapan Mekala-kalaan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes of Pancasila Education using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class IV of SDN 19 Kampung Olo, Padang City. In this study, the Classroom Action Research (PTK) type was applied using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects in this study were teachers (researchers) and 13 students consisting of 4 boys and 9 girls. The results of this study showed an increase in: a) teaching modules in cycle I with an average of 83.15% (Good) and cycle II 93% (Very Good) b) implementation in the teacher aspect of cycle I with an average of 82.5% (Good) and cycle II 93% (Very Good), while implementation in the student aspect of cycle I with an average of 82.5% (Good) and cycle II 93% (Very Good), c) assessment of students in improving learning outcomes in cycle I obtained 77,3 % and cycle II with an average of  88%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve learning outcomes for Pancasila Education in grade IV.
