Abstract

This study is based on the issue of students' conceptual understanding regarding environmental conservation material at SD Inpres Tello Baru III. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation and effectiveness of the cooperative learning model Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS), as well as the improvement of students' conceptual understanding on environmental conservation after the application of the TAPPS model in Grade IV of SD Inpres Tello Baru III, Makassar City. This research refers to observation sheets and the results of students’ conceptual understanding tests, namely pre-test and post-test. A quantitative approach was employed in this study. The research design used is the one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at UPT SPF SD Inpres Tello Baru III, with all students as the population. The sample consisted of 25 Grade IV students. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study indicate that the use of the cooperative learning model Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding of environmental conservation in Grade IV of SD Inpres Tello Baru III, Makassar City.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of entrepreneurship education and business motivation on entrepreneurial interest. The subjects of the study were semester VIII students of Bhinneka PGRI University in the 2024/2025 academic year who had taken Entrepreneurship 1 and 2 courses. The study used an associative quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires. The analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of IBM SPPS Statistics 27 software. The results showed that simultaneously, entrepreneurship education and business motivation had a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Partially, entrepreneurship education also had a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

The use of digital-based learning media has become one of the innovative alternatives to support an active and engaging learning process. One such form is web-based applications that allow flexible access and integration of various interactive learning contents. This study aims to develop a web application called "MENTARI" as a learning media to improve elementary school students' skills in writing fairy tales. The method used is Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects involved 35 fourth-grade students and one classroom teacher at SDN Ganeas I, Sumedang. Expert validation from content, media, and language reviewers provided highly positive evaluations regarding the content quality, user interface, and clarity of language used in the application. User trials also showed encouraging responses from both teachers and students in terms of usability and relevance to writing learning objectives. Final evaluation was conducted by analyzing students' written products, which demonstrated improved ability to structure intrinsic elements of a story. These findings suggest that the "MENTARI" web application is appropriate and effective as a learning medium to support elementary students' fairy tale writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of independent commissioners, firm growth, and profitability on firm value in mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2024 period. The study employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression. The sample comprises nine mining companies selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 45 observations. The findings indicate that independent commissioners have a significant positive effect on firm value. However, firm growth and profitability do not show significant effects. These results support agency theory and signaling theory in the context of firm value. This study provides practical implications for stakeholders to enhance corporate value by strengthening governance mechanisms.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning discipline, teacher teaching style, learning interest, and learning motivation on student learning activity at SMK Cersa Pasaman. The type of quantitative research with descriptive and associative methods. The sampling technique used is the total sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was obtained: 1) Learning discipline has a significant effect on learning interest. 2) Teacher teaching style has a significant effect on learning interest. 3) Learning discipline has a significant effect on learning motivation. 4) Teacher teaching style has a significant effect on learning motivation. 5) Learning discipline has a significant effect on learning activity. 6) Teacher teaching style has a significant effect on learning activity. 7) Learning interest has a significant effect on learning activity. 8) Learning motivation has a significant effect on learning activity. Based on the study, it was concluded that learning discipline, teacher teaching style, learning interest, and learning motivation on student learning activity at SMK Cersa Pasaman Barat had an effect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis materi autentik yang disediakan oleh guru dan menganalisis bagaimana materi-materi ini digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PjBL. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada kelas X IPA, di mana siswa bekerja dalam kelompok untuk menghasilkan proyek flipbook dengan tema "Olahraga dan Kesehatan." Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan tiga jenis materi autentik lagu, video, dan podcast yang dibagikan dengan berbagai kelompok siswa. Materi-materi ini diterapkan dalam enam tahap utama model PjBL: merumuskan pertanyaan penting, merancang proyek, penjadwalan, memantau implementasi, mengevaluasi hasil, dan merefleksikan pengalaman belajar. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan materi autentik dapat meningkatkan motivasi, kolaborasi, berpikir kritis, dan pemahaman kontekstual bahasa Inggris siswa. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya peran guru dalam memfasilitasi eksplorasi materi dan memilih sumber belajar yang relevan untuk menciptakan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang lebih bermakna, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi praktik baik dalam membangun karakter kemandirian siswa tunanetra di SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam, sekolah inklusif yang memiliki siswa penyandang tunanetra. Objek penelitian ini adalah karakter kemandirian siswa tunanetra, dengan subjek kepala sekolah, guru, siswa tunanetra, dan teman sejawat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan berlandaskan teori behaviorisme, yang menekankan pembentukan perilaku melalui interaksi sosial dan penguatan (reinforcement). Fokus penelitian meliputi pengembangan kemandirian dalam konteks inklusif, peran guru, serta dukungan lingkungan sekolah. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian siswa tunanetra terbentuk melalui dukungan sistematis. Siswa mampu menyelesaikan tugas secara mandiri, menggunakan teknologi bantu seperti pembaca layar, dan aktif dalam kegiatan kelompok. Guru berperan penting melalui metode pembelajaran adaptif seperti penjelasan verbal, rekaman audio, dan bimbingan personal, serta penguatan positif berupa pujian. Teman sebaya turut mendorong kemandirian melalui interaksi sosial yang suportif dan bantuan yang tidak menciptakan ketergantungan. Lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan inklusif mendukung siswa tunanetra dalam berekspresi dan berpartisipasi. Secara kelembagaan, sekolah menyediakan fasilitas ramah disabilitas, seperti jalur akses, komputer dengan perangkat lunak khusus, dan alat tulis braille. Sekolah juga rutin mengadakan pelatihan dan bekerja sama dengan lembaga luar untuk meningkatkan kapasitas layanan inklusif. Abstract

Playgroup education is a form of early childhood education that plays a crucial role in developing children's personalities and preparing them for the next level of education. Numeracy is a crucial foundation for early childhood development as a preparation for entering the next level of education. Based on observations, researchers found similar findings to the statement above. Students aged 4-5 at the Nurul Ma'rifah Kindergarten tend not to be able to count objects accurately. Early childhood is not yet able to understand abstract mathematical concepts, so it requires a numeracy learning approach that is appropriate to the child's developmental stage. According to Romlah in Riyenil and Agus (2019: 55), play is a way of learning that provides a feeling of happiness and enjoyment because through play, children can learn about something without having to study it. In the modern era, traditional games are starting to be marginalized by digital games, even though traditional games have benefits that are no less important, including in the aspect of counting. The population in this study were Early Childhood Children (both boys and girls) KB Nurul Ma`rifah in Kalisat District. While the sample in this study were all students in class A with an age range of 4-5 years. This study is a quasi-experimental study, where according to Ruseffendi in Lisa (2019) in a quasi-experiment the sample is not randomly selected subjects but samples are taken randomly class with existing subjects. This study also uses a pretest and posttest design where in this design there are two groups selected randomly Data Analysis in this study uses descriptive statistical analysis and statistical tests (T Test) to see the effect of congklak games on children's counting abilities. The purpose of this study is to provide information to readers regarding the effect of congklak games on counting abilities in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Scout extracurricular activities in the development of student character in MIN 1 Jepara. The background of this research departs from the challenges of students' character in the digital era, such as declining discipline and social sensitivity. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that structured and routine Scout activities are able to shape student character values, especially discipline, responsibility, independence, cooperation, and social concern. The process of internalizing values is carried out through an approach of habituation, example, and strengthening the meaning of activities, with support from the head of the madrasah and the coach. The main obstacle faced is the limited facilities and training of coaches. Nevertheless, Scout activities have proven to be an effective instrument of character education in Islamic-based ibtidaiyah madrasas. This research contributes to strengthening the character development model in basic education institutions and becomes a practical reference in optimizing scouting activities

Abstract

This study aims to foster reading interest in children aged 5-6 years through the use of picture stories at the Nurul Ma'rifah Kalisat Kindergarten, Jember Regency. The problem faced is the low interest in reading in children, which is evident from their greater interest in digital games compared to reading books. This indicates an urgent need to create a supportive and engaging environment for children to read. The general objective of this study is to increase reading interest in early childhood. While the specific objectives include: (1) identifying factors that hinder children's reading interest, (2) implementing interesting learning methods through picture stories, and (3) evaluating the increase in children's reading interest after the implementation of the method. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. This research will be conducted in two cycles, with 15 children selected purposively as research subjects. The expected output of this study is an increase in children's reading interest, which can be measured through children's participation in reading activities, responses to stories, and their ability to retell the story content. It is hoped that the results of this study can contribute to the development of a more effective and relevant PAUD curriculum to children's needs, as well as improve the quality of early childhood education in the digital era.
