Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pendidikan agama Islam pada remaja putus sekolah di Sekolah MTs Al-Hasanah Tanjung Leidong, degan fokus kepada alasan remaja putus sekolah, bagaimana cara mengajar dan pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Islam bagi remaja putus sekolah. Adapun tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui profil orang tua remaja putus sekolah, untuk mengetahui remaja tentang pendidikan agama Islam, untuk mengetahui tentang cara mengajar dan penguatan pendidikan agama Islam bagi remaja putus sekolah. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu pada saat pertama kali remaja putus sekolah mereka memiliki perasaan pesimis seperti tidak memiliki arah tujuan, tingkat pendidikan orang tua rendah dan lingkungan kurang mendukung sebab banyak ditemukan penjudi, narkoba, dan pergaulan bebas, akan tetapi dengan seiring berjalannya waktu mereka mampu mencari jalan keluar sehingga mengambil hal-hal positif dan tidak cendrung dengan berpikiran negatif.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the Nusantara Medley Dance affects the gross motor skills of the five to six-year-old students at Mentari Bunda Islamic Kindergarten in Padang. The gross motor skills of children are still developing. This is evident in morning workouts, where some kids struggle to stay balanced when standing on tiptoe and lifting one leg during warm-up exercises. They also struggle to support their body weight when bending their legs with their arms outstretched, and they have trouble shifting positions when switching to gymnastic moves. Additionally, teachers choose fewer activities to help kids develop their gross motor abilities. This study employs a quasi-experimental research design and a quantitative methodology. All of the students at Mentari Bunda Islamic Kindergarten in Padang made up the study's population. Class B1 served as the experimental class and class B2 as the control class; each class had 15 students. Normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing were employed in data analysis procedures. The sig column in Levene's test of variance is 0.939>0.05, according to the hypothesis test table. This figure shows that 0.000 is less than 0.05. If the sig value is less than 0.05, it is in compliance with the measurement criteria of the hypothesis test. Thus, it can be said that Ho is rejected while Ha is accepted. According to the study's findings, children between the ages of five and six benefit from using Indonesian medley dance in terms of their gross motor abilities.

The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in learning outcomes between students who use the Articulate storyline 3 learning media and students who do not use the Articulate storyline 3 learning media in class VII students of SMP N 8 Pekanbaru and aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Articulate storyline 3 learning media on the learning of procedural texts of class VII students of SMP N 8 Pekanbaru. The research method in this study is an experiment through a quasi-experimental research type of pre-test and post-test with-non-equivalent control-group design. The sample of this study amounted to 72 students obtained by simple random sampling through drawing. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of the trial class are superior compared to the control class. In the trial class, the average N-Gain score is 64.76, the interpretation of the effectiveness category of the N-Gain experimental class is quite effective and the N-Gain control class is 48.13, the interpretation of the effectiveness category of the N-Gain control class is less effective. The results of the N-Gain test can prove that in learning procedural texts the use of the Articulate storyline 3 learning media is effectively applied in learning.

This study is motivated by the problem that children's counting skills are not well developed. some children have been able to mention the numbers 1-20 but when asked to match with the number symbol the child has not been able to show correctly, besides that there is still a lack of availability of varied learning media, and a lack of teacher creativity in creating media to improve counting skills in children. Thus, bingo games are employed as a means to enhance children's counting skills, allowing them to grasp counting ideas through engaging and enjoyable activities. The purpose of this research is to find out if playing bingo games improves the counting skills of kindergarteners at Iqra. This study employed a quantitative strategy based on a quasi-experimental design. Using a purposive sampling strategy, a total of ten students from two different classes class B2 (the experimental group) and class B1 (the control group) made up the population of this study. Statement sheets were utilized as data collecting tools, and methods for data analysis included tests for normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing, as well as oral and action tests. After that, SPSS 30.0 was used to conduct the difference test (t-tests). After the test, the average value in the experimental group rose from 13.00 to 18.90, according to the data.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis determinasi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam membentuk budaya religius di Pesantren Darul Hijrah As-Salam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang memengaruhi determinasi PAI meliputi peran guru dan ustadz sebagai teladan moral dan spiritual, penerapan kurikulum PAI yang terintegrasi secara kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor, serta pembiasaan ibadah yang konsisten. Faktor eksternal mencakup dukungan orang tua dalam pembinaan religius di rumah dan lingkungan pesantren yang kondusif dengan tradisi keagamaan yang kuat. Meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti rendahnya minat sebagian santri, perbedaan latar belakang, dan keterbatasan fasilitas, keberhasilan pembentukan budaya religius tetap terjaga berkat dukungan manajemen sekolah dan tradisi pesantren yang mengakar. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa PAI, jika dikelola secara terencana, terintegrasi, dan kolaboratif, mampu menjadi instrumen efektif dalam membentuk karakter religius santri secara berkelanjutan.

This study explores the implementation of Field Practice (PPL) by Master's students in Islamic Education Management at UIN Sunan Kalijaga during their professional placement at Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) Yogyakarta. The research examines the process of integrating educational management theories with institutional practices, focusing on opportunities for enhancing organizational development. Through qualitative inquiry, the study highlights the importance of collaborative approaches in implementing transformational leadership and participatory planning models. Findings reveal valuable insights into optimizing institutional processes, fostering technological adoption, and building consensus for educational innovation. The study offers constructive recommendations for aligning academic preparation with professional practice in Islamic higher education management.

This study aims to analyze the use of WhatsApp social media and students' understanding of communication ethics at STKIP Taman Siswa Bima in an academic context. This study focuses on digital communication behavior patterns between students and lecturers through the WhatsApp platform, which has now become the primary means of communication in higher education. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with 15 students from various semesters. The results showed that most students use WhatsApp because it is considered practical, efficient, and responsive. However, some of them still lack understanding of the principles of academic communication ethics, such as using polite language, choosing the right time to send messages, and composing messages formally and clearly. These findings reveal a gap between technological convenience and academic communication maturity. This study contributes to educational institutions in designing policies or training in digital communication ethics, thus enabling them to foster professional, ethical, and effective academic interactions in the era of increasingly rapid social media development.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of collaborative learning strategies in improving social skills of students at SMK Darut Taqwa Sengonagung. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design involving 60 students divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received collaborative learning treatment, while the control group used conventional learning methods. Data collection was carried out through social skills observation sheets, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that collaborative learning strategies were significantly effective in improving students' social skills with an N-gain value of 0.72 (high category). The improvement was seen in aspects of communication, cooperation, leadership, and conflict resolution. Statistical tests using the t-test showed significant differences between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). This study concludes that collaborative learning strategies can be used as an effective alternative to improve students' social skills in vocational education)

Keterampilan berpikir komputasional (Computational Thinking/CT) merupakan kompetensi penting abad ke-21 yang perlu dikuasai peserta didik sejak dini. Namun, pembelajaran CT di sekolah dasar masih didominasi pendekatan unplugged sehingga kurang memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam pemrograman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul bahan ajar CT berbantuan Scratch yang sesuai untuk peserta didik sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan model Educational Design Research (EDR) dengan tiga tahap utama yaitu, analisis dan eksplorasi, desain dan konstruksi, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 peserta didik kelas V di SDN Cicariu. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, validasi ahli, dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil validasi menunjukkan rata-rata skor kelayakan sebesar 86,33% (kategori sangat layak). Uji coba tahap pertama memperoleh respon positif 97,69%, sedangkan tahap kedua 98,30%. Modul ini terbukti dapat memfasilitasi peserta didik untuk memahami konsep CT secara interaktif dan menyenangkan melalui proyek game Scratch. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis plugged lainnya yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar.

Early childhood numeracy literacy skills play a crucial role as the foundation for logical thinking, problem-solving, and readiness for the next level of education. However, in practice, many children still struggle to recognize number concepts, connect symbols with quantities, and apply them in daily activities. This condition is exacerbated by the limited availability of learning media that can facilitate numeracy learning in an interactive and enjoyable manner, causing children to become easily bored and less motivated. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a puzzle carpet based on the snakes and ladders game as an engaging alternative learning medium to enhance children’s numeracy literacy skills. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The study population consisted of group B children at TK Telkom Padang, with purposive samples from class B6 (control) and class B8 (experimental), each comprising fewer than 15 children. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with SPSS 30.0 for Windows. The results showed an increase in the average score in the experimental class from 10.33 (pre-test) to 21.89 (post-test), while in the control class, scores increased from 9.56 to 20.06. A significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05) indicated a significant effect. Thus, the puzzle carpet based on the snakes and ladders game was proven effective in improving early childhood numeracy literacy skills at TK Telkom Padang.
