Abstract

The purpose of this study is to 1) design an Android-based learning media for the mathematics subject of addition and subtraction for grade I of SD Negeri Joglo Surakarta using the Adobe Flash CS 3 application; 2) to assess the feasibility level of the Android-based learning media design as a mathematics learning medium for addition and subtraction for grade I of SD Negeri Joglo Surakarta. This study uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model. Data collection uses observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation techniques. The testing system uses Blackbox Testing and feasibility validation by experts and student responses to provide responses regarding the feasibility of the learning media, then the product feasibility validation is analyzed and converted using a Likert Scale. The results of this study indicate that the designed learning media obtains very feasible criteria, according to media expert validation it has a feasibility level of 94% with very feasible criteria, according to material expert validation it has a feasibility level of 91% with very feasible criteria, according to teacher expert validation (educators) it has a feasibility level of 93% with very feasible criteria, and the feasibility assessment by students gets a percentage of 95% with very feasible criteria.

Abstract

This article explores the characteristics of Islamic studies through a historical approach, with a particular emphasis on changes that have occurred in Islamic thought, society, and culture, especially in Indonesia.  In this study, a literature review method was used. The data used included books, journals, articles, and relevant digital documents.  The results of the study show that Islam is not only a religious teaching but also a historical phenomenon that shapes civilisation, education, and culture.  The character of Islam in Indonesia has developed into a normative, cultural, pluralistic, and neo-modernist one.  In addition, Islamic educational institutions, such as madrasas and Islamic boarding schools, play an important role in developing educational models that are incorporated into the national system.  The results confirm that by using a historical approach, Islamic research can explain the close relationship between religion, science, and culture in building an advanced Islamic civilisation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Teacher Leadership Program (PGP) on teacher competence, quality of educational services, and teacher performance in Temanggung Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. A total of 171 teachers were randomly selected as samples from 309 PGP graduates. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Spearman’s correlation test. The findings indicate significant relationships between teacher competence, educational service quality, and teacher performance. However, the PGP variable demonstrated a negative correlation with teacher performance, although this relationship was moderated by teacher competence and educational service quality, which strengthened and shifted the relationship in a positive direction. The results highlight the importance of enhancing competence and service quality to maximize the impact of the PGP on teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penguasaan aspek fonologi dan leksikon pada anak usia 4–5 tahun di salah satu PAUD di Distrik Manokwari Barat, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek utama adalah anak taman kanak-kanak kelompok A, dengan guru dan kepala sekolah sebagai informan pendukung. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan fonologi dan leksikon anak berada dalam tahap berkembang, dengan variasi individu yang dipengaruhi oleh intensitas interaksi verbal dan stimulasi lingkungan. Secara fonologis, anak-anak sudah mampu melafalkan sebagian besar bunyi vokal dan konsonan dasar, meskipun masih ditemukan kesalahan seperti elisi, substitusi, dan adisi pada bunyi kompleks. Penguasaan leksikon tercermin dari kemampuan menyebutkan nama benda, aktivitas, warna, dan hewan yang akrab. Penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya sinergi antara aspek fonologi dan leksikon, di mana anak yang memiliki artikulasi lebih baik cenderung menguasai kosakata yang lebih luas dan mampu membentuk frasa sederhana. Kesimpulannya, perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini bersifat simultan antara kemampuan mengucapkan bunyi bahasa dan penguasaan makna kata, yang keduanya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas lingkungan verbal. Implikasinya, diperlukan stimulasi bahasa yang kaya dan kontekstual, serta kerja sama yang erat antara PAUD dan keluarga agar perkembangan bahasa anak berlangsung optimal.

Abstract

Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan penelitian untuk memeriksa bagaimana Menggambar Bebas Teknik Graffito memengaruhi kemampuan kreativitas anak di TK Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP di Padang. Kemampuan kreativitas anak masih belum berkembang. Hal ini terlihat ketika menyelesaikan kegiatan menggambar bebas, anak belum memunculkan ide dan anak belum mampu menggambar secara rinci serta mengembangkan gambarnya sesuai dengan imajinasinya. Pada kegiatan menggambar anak masih mencontoh gambar guru, dan melihat hasil temannya. Sehingga aspek kreativitas seperti fluency, flexibility, originality dan elaboration masih belum dimiliki oleh anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian quasi-eksperimental dan metodologi kuantitatif. Semua siswa di TK Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP menjadi populasi penelitian. Kelas B1 berfungsi sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas B2 sebagai kelas eksperimen; setiap kelas memiliki 15 siswa. Normalitas, homogenitas, dan pengujian hipotesis digunakan dalam prosedur analisis data. Kolom sig dalam uji varians Levene adalah 0,939>0,05, menurut table uji hipotesis. Angka ini menunjukkan bahwa 0,000 kurang dari 0,05. Jika nilai sig kurang dari 0,05, maka nilai tersebut memenuhi kriteria pengukuran uji hipotesis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak sementara Ha diterima. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, anak-anak mendapatkan manfaat dari kegiatan menggambar bebas Teknik graffito dalam hal kemampuan kreativitas mereka.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas V UPT SD Negeri 007 Sungai Lipai. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui model CRH di kelas V UPT SD Negeri 007 Sungai Lipai. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif (ketuntasan individual dan ketuntasan klasikal). Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik kualitatif dan teknik kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi, teknik observasi, dan teknik tes. Instrumen penelitiannya yaitu perangkat pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta lembar tes soal evaluasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dari 35% (pratindakan) menjadi 45% (Siklus I Pertemuan I) meningkat 60% (Siklus I Pertemuan II) dan meningkat 75% (Siklus II Pertemuan II) menjadi 85% (Siklus II Pertemuan II). Selain itu, siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan mampu bekerja sama. Kesimpulannya, model CRH efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, keaktifan, dan kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

This study used the Research and Development (R&D) technique with the ADDIE model, which encompasses the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 29 Medan. The purpose of this project was to create a geogebra-assisted student worksheet (LKPD) based on Batak culture to help students enhance their computational thinking skills in the area of plane figures. Based on the validation results, the LKPD received an overall percentage of 88% from material specialists, media experts, and teachers, which is classified as very valid. The practicality analysis using teacher and student response questionnaires revealed ratings of 94% for teachers and 93% for students, both rated as very practical.The efficacy analysis was based on students' computational thinking test results, classical completeness, and student activity observation sheets. The geogebra-assisted Batak culture-based LKPD has been shown to be a viable medium for learning mathematics. The developed product not only improves students' understanding of plane figure concepts, but it also boosts learning motivation, promotes computational thinking skills, and instills local cultural values. As a result, this LKPD can be used as an innovative teaching material to help implement the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using ice breaking activities on students’ learning motivation in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects for fourth-grade students at MI Ma’had Al-Zaytun. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental Design, employing a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires, with 44 fourth-grade students at MI Ma’had Al-Zaytun selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Paired Sample T-Test using SPSS version 23. The results showed that the Paired Sample T-Test value was 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that there is an effect of using ice breaking activities on students’ learning motivation. The average score increased from 65.16 in the pretest to 75.59 in the posttest, with a mean difference of 10.43 points. In addition, the questionnaire results showed that 66.71% of respondents gave positive and enthusiastic responses toward the use of ice breaking, indicating that this method is able to create a more enjoyable and interactive learning atmosphere. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of ice breaking activities can be applied in IPAS learning for fourth-grade students at MI Ma’had Al-Zaytun, as it has a positive effect on students’ learning motivation. Abstract

This study discusses the Implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) on the theme of a Sustainable Lifestyle Based on Reuse for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Masbagik Timur. The aim of this study is to identify the implementation, obstacles, and strategies in carrying out P5 sustainable lifestyle based on reuse in grade V. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted on fifth grade students at SD Negeri 02 Masbagik Timur. The sources of information in this study amounted to 8 people, consisting of six fifth grade students, one principal, and one homeroom teacher of grade V. The results of this study show that the implementation of P5 on the theme of a sustainable lifestyle based on reuse in fifth grade students was carried out through project-based activities by utilizing used materials into new products with functional value, such as straws made into flowers, used bottles turned into pencil holders, and cardboard made into frames that were later used to decorate the classroom. These activities were able to foster students’ creativity, environmental awareness, responsibility, and collaboration. However, the implementation of this project faced several obstacles, such as limited time, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, as well as differences in students’ abilities that affected group work. To overcome these obstacles, teachers applied collaborative learning strategies through discussion, hands-on practice, structured group division, and providing special guidance. The P5 activities not only produced products from used materials but also provided meaningful learning experiences for students in building the character of the Pancasila student profile and fostering sustainable lifestyle habits.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: (1) the process of character building implemented at SD Negeri 3 Sukamulia Timur, (2) the development of students’ character through the internalization of religious values, and (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of character building. This research employs a qualitative approach with the principal, homeroom teachers, Islamic education teachers, and several sixth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that: (1) the process of students’ character building at SD Negeri 3 Sukamulia Timur is carried out in a structured and consistent manner through habituation activities based on religious values that are integrated into the school culture, supported by extracurricular activities designed to strengthen positive values in shaping students’ character; (2) the internalization of religious values covers aspects of faith, worship, and morality, implemented through role modeling and habituation methods, such as the recitation of Asmaul Husna, short verses, daily prayers, congregational prayer, imtaq and almsgiving, the 5S principle, and Islamic commemoration events (PHBI); (3) supporting factors include a conducive environment, consistent positive habituation, and effective communication and collaboration between school and parents. Conversely, inhibiting factors include students’ limited understanding of religious values, lack of intrinsic motivation, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, digital distractions, as well as unsupportive family and social backgrounds.
