Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa Kelas V UPT SDN 008 Muara Uwai, dengan ketuntasan klasikal awal hanya 25%. Masalah ini diidentifikasi bersumber dari pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru (ceramah) sehingga siswa pasif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning Start With A Question. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 8 siswa Kelas V. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes (kuantitatif) dan observasi (kualitatif). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 25% pada pra-tindakan, menjadi 50% pada akhir Siklus I, dan berhasil mencapai 100% pada akhir Siklus II. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning Start With A Question, setelah melalui perbaikan prosedur pada siklus kedua, terbukti berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a behavioristic environment in Arabic language learning at the Markaz Lughoh of Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School and to analyze its impact on students’ language skill development. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively based on behavioristic theory as the main conceptual framework. The results show that the Markaz Lughoh consistently applies core behavioristic principles such as stimulus-response, reinforcement, repetition, and modeling. Intensive habituation in using Arabic, supported by a reward and punishment system, successfully shaped positive and sustainable language behavior. The implementation of this strategy significantly improved students’ four Arabic language skills kalam (speaking), istima’ (listening), qira’ah (reading), and kitabah (writing) and fostered a disciplined, active, and communicative learning environment. Thus, the application of a behavioristic environment at Markaz Lughoh has proven effective in holistically enhancing students’ Arabic language competence.

Abstract

This study adopts a descriptive quantitative approach to examine how elementary school teachers understand and prepare for the implementation of Deep Learning-based instruction. A total of 160 teachers from South Sulawesi Province participated as respondents, selected through purposive sampling that considered their teaching experience and involvement in Deep Learning training. Data were gathered using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire covering five central dimensions, namely conceptual understanding of Deep Learning, pedagogical readiness, technological readiness, motivation for professional growth, and perceptions of institutional challenges and support. The results indicate that teachers’ readiness is uneven across these dimensions. The dimension of technological readiness achieved the highest mean score, categorized as high, particularly among younger teachers who actively use digital tools and artificial intelligence applications to enhance collaboration and provide feedback in the learning process. Conversely, the lowest scores were observed in conceptual understanding and pedagogical readiness. Many teachers still perceive Deep Learning as synonymous with project-based learning and have yet to internalize its philosophical essence, which emphasizes meaningful engagement, reflective thinking, and joyful learning experiences. Teachers’ motivation to develop their professional competence was found to be at a moderate level, with a tendency to depend more on institutional facilitation than on intrinsic drive. These findings highlight that the successful implementation of Deep Learning depends not only on teachers’ technological proficiency but also on their conceptual depth and pedagogical preparedness. Therefore, capacity building for teachers should be designed through an integrative model of professional development that brings together digital literacy, philosophical awareness, and pedagogical reflection within a supportive institutional framework. Such an approach is essential to transform Deep Learning from a theoretical policy initiative into a practical educational reality that nurtures critical, creative, and humanistic learners in the era of artificial intelligence

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam tradisi Bau Nyale sebagai sumber belajar IPS di sekolah dasar. Penelitian pada artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian literature review (studi literatur) dengan tahapan 1) memilih atau menentukan topik penelitian, 2) menentukan rumusan pertanyaan dalam penelitian, 3) menyusun tujuan dalam penelitian, 4) mencari dan menggali sumber informasi melalui mesin pencari, 5) menyeleksi sumber informasi dari hasil penelitian yang relevan sesuai dengan kata kunci, 6) merangkum hasil penelitian, dan 7) menyajikan hasil penelitian yang telah dirangkum. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam tradisi Bau Nyale sebagai sumber belajar IPS di sekolah dasar yaitu 1) nilai historis yang dapat dikaitkan ke dalam ruang lingkup IPS di sekolah dasar yaitu “waktu, keberlanjutan, dan perubahan” dan ruang lingkup “manusia, tempat, dan lingkungan”. 2) nilai sosial yang dapat dikaitkan ke dalam ruang lingkup IPS di sekolah dasar yaitu manusia, tempat, dan lingkungan dan ruang lingkup “sistem sosial dan budaya”. 3) nilai pengorbanan yang dapat dikaitkan ke dalam ruang lingkup IPS di sekolah dasar yaitu “sistem sosial dan budaya”. 4) nilai ekonomi yang dapat dikaitkan ke dalam ruang lingkup IPS di sekolah dasar yaitu “perilaku ekonomi dan kesejahteraan”.

Abstract

Standar Isi merupakan komponen fundamental dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian kualitatif studi kasus ini mengkaji implementasinya di SD Negeri Pucung IV. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Standar Isi berjalan efektif dan ditopang oleh sebuah ekosistem kolaboratif multi-level, yang mencakup koordinasi vertikal dengan pengawas sekolah serta kolaborasi horizontal melalui forum K3S (Kelompok Kerja Kepala Sekolah) dan KKG (Kelompok Kerja Guru). Meskipun sekolah menghadapi tantangan signifikan berupa heterogenitas karakter dan kemampuan akademik siswa, hal ini diatasi melalui strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif, pendekatan kekeluargaan, dan metode kreatif di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Standar Isi berfungsi sebagai panduan yang dinamis dalam konteks nyata satuan pendidikan. Untuk penyempurnaan ke depan, penguatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, kemitraan sekolah-orang tua, dan pemanfaatan teknologi menjadi rekomendasi kunci.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the peer teaching method in the learning of nahwu and sharaf at Pesantren Babussalam Aceh Singkil as an effort to strengthen students’ understanding of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) through a collaborative learning approach. The study is grounded in the need of Islamic boarding schools to develop adaptive, effective, and contextual learning strategies amid the challenges of globalization and varied student abilities. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the unit of analysis includes aliyah students as tutors, tsanawiyah students as learners, and teachers and boarding supervisors as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed interactively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the application of peer teaching enhances students’ linguistic comprehension, fosters learning independence, and strengthens social solidarity across levels. Moreover, it cultivates religious character and social responsibility among senior students as part of internalizing Islamic leadership values. The study implies that pesantren-based learning innovations can serve as an alternative model for strengthening Islamic Education learning practices.

Abstract

This study explores the philosophical values contained in the noble stories of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a foundation for moral character development among Muslims. Using a qualitative literature review approach, the study examines the moral and spiritual meanings found in both classical and modern sources. The findings indicate that the Prophet’s stories possess educational strength capable of fostering virtues such as honesty, compassion, patience, and responsibility. These values serve as the basis for moral internalization within Islamic education, addressing the ethical challenges of the modern era. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating the Prophet’s exemplary stories into educational curricula as an effective strategy for shaping the character of the younger generation. Abstract

This research aims to examine the curriculum design of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in schools and madrasahs, focusing on its conceptual foundation, models, and contextual application within the socio-cultural setting of Lampung Province. The study adopts a library research approach by reviewing academic literature, books, and nationally accredited journals. The findings indicate that both schools and madrasahs share a common goal in developing students’ moral and spiritual character, yet differ in institutional orientation and curriculum management. Schools tend to integrate Islamic values into general subjects, while madrasahs position Islamic education as the core of the curriculum. The ideal curriculum design should be rooted in the principles of the Qur’an and Hadith, such as the command to educate with wisdom and good example (Qur’an, An-Nahl: 125), as well as the Prophet’s sayings on the significance of moral education. Thus, an integrative curriculum model that harmonizes knowledge, spirituality, and character becomes the strategic direction for PAI curriculum development in Lampung to remain responsive to local socio-cultural dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Islamic Education curriculum and learning in schools and madrasahs through a library research approach. The review explores academic literature, books, and journal articles discussing paradigms, implementation, and the relevance of Islamic Education curricula within the context of modern education. The findings reveal that Indonesia’s Islamic Education curriculum continues to adapt to digital-era demands, yet faces challenges in integrating Islamic values with contemporary pedagogical approaches. The paper emphasizes the importance of reconstructing curricula based on spiritual values, digital literacy, and student character formation. Thus, this study contributes to enriching the discourse on developing adaptive, contextual, and character-oriented Islamic Education curricula.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the revitalization of Malay Islamic values in shaping students’ character in the digital era through the integration of classical and modern Islamic thought. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Lawang Kidul through interviews, observations, and documentation involving Islamic Education teachers and students. The findings reveal that Malay Islamic values such as politeness, respect for teachers, and responsibility are still understood by students but have not been fully internalized in their digital behavior. The integration of classical scholars such as Hamzah Fansuri, Nuruddin al-Raniri, and Raja Ali Haji with modern thinkers such as Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, Wan Mohd Nor Wan Daud, and Osman Bakar produced a revitalization model based on three main pillars: Digital Adab, Malay Islamic Character Education, and Cultural and Spiritual Literacy. This model effectively fosters digital ethics, discipline, and pride in Islamic-Malay identity. Thus, the revitalization of Malay Islamic values serves as a strategic innovation in character education that is contextual, holistic, and relevant to the challenges of the digital globalization era.
