Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Case Study and Mind Mapping learning models on the mathematical problem-solving ability of fourth-grade students at SDN Koto VII District, Sijunjung Regency. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students, and the sample included two classes: the experimental class, which applied the Case Study and Mind Mapping models, and the control class, which used conventional learning methods. Data were collected through a descriptive test of mathematical problem-solving skills and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the independent t-test. The results revealed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught using the Case Study and Mind Mapping models compared to those taught using conventional learning. The experimental class achieved a higher posttest mean score of 74, compared to 66 in the control class. These findings indicate that the implementation of Case Study and Mind Mapping learning models is effective in enhancing the mathematical problem-solving skills of elementary school students Keywords: Case Study, Mind Mapping, Problem Solving, Mathematics, Innovative Learning.

Abstract

The problem of reading difficulties in children with special needs is significant, especially related to the ability to recognize and identify letters quickly and accurately. This barrier is often caused by limitations in visual attention patterns that affect the process of learning to read. This study aims to analyze the relationship between visual attention patterns and letter identification speed in children with special needs at SDN Sungai Lulut 2. The method used was quantitative descriptive with data collection through observation, reading tests, interviews, and document studies on two students with different characteristics. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the average score and interpreting the pattern of relationships between variables. The results showed that good visual attention patterns were associated with higher letter recognition speeds. Tournament-based learning methods have been proven to be effective in improving children's visual focus and learning motivation. Research implications of the importance of learning methods and varied visual media in inclusive education to improve the literacy of children with special needs. With the right approach, these children can improve their reading skills and retain attention better.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and systematic effort to prepare students to face future challenges, especially in the rapidly evolving era of globalization. Based on interviews in Grade IV at SD Negeri 101879 Kanan 2, Desa Buntu Bedimbar, several issues were identified during the Civics Education (PPKn) lessons. One problem was the teacher's infrequent use of media in the learning process. The use of educational media, especially audiovisual tools like animation applications such as Powtoon, Canva, and Articulate Storyline 3, was not yet optimal. This led to student boredom and disengagement during lessons. In response to this issue, the researcher sought to develop Powtoon Animation Media based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) for Civics Education lessons focused on deliberation material in Grade IV elementary school. The objective of this research was to evaluate student responses, the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media in increasing student engagement during Civics Education lessons on deliberation material. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model. Overall, the results of the media validation received a score of 90%, and the material validation scored 83%, both indicating that the media was highly feasible and valid. The teacher's response to the developed media scored 85%, indicating it was highly suitable and valid. The student response achieved a score of 82%, also indicating high feasibility. Additionally, the student engagement questionnaire showed a score of 81%, categorized as excellent. Based on these results, the Powtoon Animation Media based on Problem-Based Learning to enhance student engagement in Civics Education lessons on deliberation material in Grade IV elementary school is considered highly feasible and valid.

Abstract

Ibadah haji dan umrah adalah perjalanan ke Baitullah dengan tujuan ibadah kepada Allah SWT. Manasik haji/umroh merupakan suatu kegiatan peragaan atau replica yang disesuaikan dengan rukun, wajib dan Sunnah. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Program penyelenggaraan bimbingan manasik haji dan umrah pada BIMWisata Tour & Travel Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian data-data tersebut diolah sebagai laporan. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kegiatan penyelenggaraan bimbingan manasik haji/umrah di PT.BIMWisata Tour & Travel Bengkulu sudah memenuhi kebutuhan jamaah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe classroom teachers’ strategies in addressing students’ academic learning difficulties in elementary schools using a qualitative approach with a case study design. The findings indicate that teachers conduct early identification of learning barriers through observation, task analysis, and communication with parents. The strategies implemented include remedial teaching, the use of concrete and visual learning media, individualized assistance, and adaptive classroom management to enhance students’ comprehension and confidence. Continuous evaluation is carried out through formative tests, direct monitoring, and constructive feedback. Supporting factors include positive teacher-student relationships and a conducive learning environment, while the main challenges consist of students’ varying abilities, limited time, and insufficient learning facilities. Overall, the results emphasize that teachers play a crucial role in overcoming learning difficulties through well-planned, flexible, and responsive instructional strategies tailored to students’ needs.Kata Kunci: teacher strategies, learning difficulties, academic learning, elementary school, qualitative approach

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of using interactive learning media on elementary students’ reading literacy skills. Reading literacy is a fundamental skill that plays a crucial role in supporting students’ academic success across various disciplines. However, the low level of reading literacy among elementary students remains a challenge, mainly due to the dominance of conventional teaching methods that fail to engage students actively in the learning process. To address this issue, this research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving teachers and students who have used interactive learning media in reading activities. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of interactive learning media has a positive impact on improving students’ reading literacy skills. The integration of text, images, audio, and animation in interactive media creates a more engaging, participatory, and meaningful learning environment. Students become more motivated, active, and better able to comprehend reading materials both literally and inferentially. Moreover, interactive media enriches vocabulary, enhances critical thinking, and strengthens analytical and evaluative reading skills. Teachers also perceive that the use of interactive media not only improves reading comprehension but also fosters collaboration and discussion among students during literacy activities. Therefore, interactive learning media proves to be an effective tool for enhancing reading literacy while cultivating a positive attitude toward reading among elementary school students.Kata Kunci: Interactive Learning Media, Reading Literacy, Elementary Students, Learning Motivation, Digital Learning

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is motivated by the implementation of Islamic Education (PAI) learning, which still tends to be normative and does not fully emphasize the integration of spiritual aspects with the application of morals in real life. This study aims to describe the PAI learning design model from the perspective of the Quran and Hadith and to identify various factors that support or hinder its implementation process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. The data sources obtained are the Quran, Hadith, and other scientific writings related to the discussion. The results of this study show that the application of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning design model based on the principles of the Quran and Hadith provides strong guidelines in shaping the character and religious understanding of students. This is because this approach is not only oriented towards increasing knowledge, but is also accompanied by the formation of noble character and the practice of Islamic values in life. The obstacles to implementing this model lie in teachers' understanding of the principles of Islamic education, the influence of globalization and secularization on Islamic education, and the low level of exemplary behavior among teachers in implementing Islamic values. Solutions to the challenges of implementing the PAI learning model need to be addressed through continuous training for teachers and integrating the PAI curriculum with a spiritual and moral approach. Keywords: Learning Design Model, Islamic Religious Education, Quran Hadith ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran PAI yang masih cenderung bersifat normatif dan belum sepenuhnya menekankan integrasi antara aspek spiritual dengan penerapan moral dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model desain pembelajaran PAI dalam perspektif Al-Quran dan Hadits serta mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang mendukung maupun menghambat proses implementasinya. Penelitian ini Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka (library research). Sumber data yang diperoleh adalah Al-Quran, Hadits serta karya tulis ilmiah lain yang terkait dengan pembahasan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan model desain pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang berlandaskan pada prinsip-prinsip Al-Qur’an dan Hadits memberikan pedoman yang kuat dalam membentuk karakter dan pemahaman keagamaan peserta didik. Karena pendekatan ini tidak hanya berorientasi pada peningkatan pengetahuan saja, namun disertai dengan pembentukan akhlak mulia serta pengamalan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan. Hambatan penerapan model ini terletak pada pemahaman guru terhadap prinsip prinsip pendidikan islam, pengaruh globalisasi dan sekularisasi terhadap pendidikan Islam dan rendahnya keteladanan guru dalam mengimplementasikan nilai islam. Solusi terhadap Tantangan Implementasi Model Pembelajaran PAI perlu diadakan dengan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru, Mengintegrasi kurikulum PAI dengan pendekatan spiritual dan moral serta Mengoptimalkan peran guru sebagai pendidik, pembimbing,dan teladan bagi peserta didik agar efektivitas pembelajaran PAI dapat ditingkatkan dengan menyeluruh. Abstract

The Pagar Pengantin Dance is a traditional cultural heritage from South Sumatra that contains profound aesthetic, moral, and social values. This dance originally functioned as part of the traditional wedding procession for the bride-to-be, symbolizing purity, gentleness, and readiness to enter married life. In the current educational context, the Pagar Pengantin Dance has begun to be integrated into arts and culture learning activities in schools. This learning not only plays a role in preserving regional dance arts, but also contributes to character formation, instilling moral values, and developing student creativity. This article discusses the urgency of implementing the Pagar Pengantin Dance learning in South Sumatran schools as a medium for cultural preservation, character building, and aesthetic education for the younger generation. This article is a literature review that discusses the implementation and urgency of learning the Pagar Pengantin Dance for students in the South Sumatra region. The Pagar Pengantin Dance as a traditional cultural heritage has high aesthetic, moral, and social values, which originally functioned as part of the traditional wedding procession symbolizing purity, gentleness, and readiness to live married life. Through a review of various literature, this study examines how the Pagar Pengantin Dance is integrated into arts and culture learning in schools as a means of preserving local culture, strengthening character, and developing student creativity. This study also highlights various pedagogical approaches and learning strategies used in transferring cultural values ​​through traditional dance. The review results indicate that learning the Pagar Pengantin Dance not only plays a role in maintaining the existence of regional culture but is also effective in shaping students' aesthetic sensitivity, morality, and cultural identity in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based learning media in improving students’ essay writing skills at SMP Swasta Delisha. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. Data were collected through essay writing tests and student perception questionnaires. The results showed that the experimental group achieved an average score of 94.08, while the control group scored 44.11, with tcount = 14.67 > ttable = 2.048, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. The use of AI media effectively enhanced students’ writing skills, motivation, and engagement. Theoretically, this finding supports Vygotsky’s social constructivist theory, emphasizing technology as scaffolding that fosters independent thinking and writing. Therefore, integrating AI into Indonesian language learning represents an innovative strategy aligned with Generation Z characteristics and supports the Merdeka Curriculum focused on digital literacy.

Abstract

Penurunan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep biodiversitas menuntut inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang interaktif dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan Assemblr Edu berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap keterampilan literasi biodiversitas siswa SMA Negeri 25 Bone. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Experimental Design tipe Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Group Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas X.3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X.4 sebagai kelas kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 27 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket keterampilan literasi biodiversitas dan observasi selama proses pembelajaran, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene’s Test, dan uji Independent Sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 23. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, serta terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan nilai signifikansi 0,013 (<0,05), yang menandakan adanya pengaruh positif penggunaan Assemblr Edu terhadap peningkatan keterampilan literasi biodiversitas siswa. Kesimpulannya, penerapan media Assemblr Edu efektif meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami, menganalisis, dan menerapkan konsep keanekaragaman hayati melalui pengalaman belajar yang interaktif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi teknologi Augmented Reality sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam pendidikan biologi guna memperkuat literasi sains dan kesadaran lingkungan siswa
